I didn't connect with the main character. But I found this book interesting about the consequences of social media highjacking.

Lauren seems to have it all - a great job at a Manchester market agency, a nice home which she shares with her fiance Akshay and a good relationship with her coworkers / friends and family.
But Lauren's perfect life isn't so perfect anymore. When Lauren failes an important pitch at work, someone keyes her car and she gets some random sex texts is soon looks like someone has it out for her. While she is trying to get to know what happened the attacks escalate, she loses her boyfriend and access to her credit cards and social media accounts as well.
The life Lauren knows is under attack and she will do anything to get it back.

This story has an exciting starting point, the heroine is under attack and it makes you wonder who is behind it. Unfortunately I guessed the culprit rather quickly even though there was a twist at the end.
Lauren, for me, wasn't a great character and the way she went over suspects  didn't feel like she was trying hard or she just focused on one person and was convinced he/she did it. Other characters fell a little blank and some parts of the story didn't feel realistic.
Overall the story did raise a question on putting our life on social media and  how safe is information and storage on technical devices.

A great thank you to the author Nora Valters, publisher Inkubator Books and NetGalley for a free electronic copy.

This was a really quick read with action the whole way through. It centers on Lauren, who has a seemingly perfect life until she gets set up by an unnamed person seeking revenge. Lauren's life quickly spirals out of control as whomever is harassing her picks away her comfortable life, piece by piece.

There were a couple things that bothered me about this book, the first one being that Lauren was a bit slow on the uptake. She tried to excuse some of what was happening to her as bad luck, which did not seem how a regular person would react. She also continually laser-focused on whatever was right in front of her without considering other options. I also found it implausible that all of her friends and family would turn on her in an instant rather than sticking by her as she tried to figure out what was happening.

When the villain was revealed, it made sense and was one of the people I had considered. Both the motive and the lengths they were willing to take caused me to suspend my disbelief a bit, but was suspenseful either way. The book was fast-paced in general and I finished it in one sitting. It really made you think about what you would do in a similar situation (and I would have made some different decisions than Lauren!).

Overall, I enjoyed the book despite the things I called about above that I didn't love. I'd give it 3.5 stars and would read another book by this author. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A quick read which I found to be a bit over the top in parts. I did guess the guilty party . Three stars from me

Good solid story. You kind of get drug dow into some of the details at first. However it picks up in pace by chapter five and keeps it for the rest of the book.

Sometimes I enjoy going into a book without reading the description just so I am left in suspense without any expectations or assumptions. I decided to take a gamble with Now You Know and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

Once again, thank you to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review another exceptional novel!

Now you know is a story of snowballing misfortunes. Lauren's life is crumbling right before her eyes. Lauren's fiance believes she is cheating on him, her car has been vandalized and someone is out to get her! Who wants to ruin Lauren's life and why?

I was unable to put this book down and the evening chores simply did not get done. I just had to know who was doing this and why? I was left guessing the entire time!

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good thriller that is easy to follow along with.

This fast paced thriller is somewhat over the top. It's not too difficult to find out out who's behind this revenge spree - but it's not believable that anyone would go this far.

My thanks to NetGalley and publisher Inkubator Books for the electronic copy..

This was a good enough read - it drew me in, fascinated by the deluge of things that turn the protagonist's life into a nightmare. However, I did find all the characters to be really shallow and became almost bored with Lauren's incessant procrastinations before she takes any logical action.

So, in essence, Lauren Cohen has a good life; she's a well-respected member of a Manchester marketing agency, and lives with her boyfriend Akshay. Things begin to go wrong for her - a critical pitch at work to a major supermarket chain goes wrong, suspecting her laptop had been hacked. Then there are sextexts from a burner phone; her car is keyed, and her social media is highjacked to the extent that she's the world's most hated woman, affecting her work, and she can't access her bank accounts.

Someone is trying to destroy her - but who?
There are lots of suspects when she really gets around to thinking about it - but it takes her a while.

Yes, this is a psychological thriller, but I found it to be of little depth. There is a twist at the end, although I had guessed to culprit early-on.

Nevertheless, it has a fascination and insight into the consequences of social media use, so if you want a quick read, go ahead; not for me though.

Now you Know by Nora Valters is very gripping and tense. I had a lot of issues with putting this book to the side, so I could sleep.

When I woke up, I found myself snagging a few pages in between little breaks at work. When a book does this to me, you know it is worth a read!

✨Book Review: Now You Know✨

📖: Lauren has the perfect life - her dream job, a loving fiancé, and the most adorable home. But when something goes terribly wrong at work one day, it sparks a long line of bad luck. Until Lauren realizes it’s not bad luck, but someone is out to get her. And they won’t stop until she’s dead.

⭐️⭐️⭐️: This one was well written. But I guessed the villain pretty quickly. There were some good twists in the story and it kept me intrigued but I wasn’t shocked. However, the details were great and the characters were all very believable. Definitely well thought out. I just caught on too quickly. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3 stars for me.

Lauren seems to be having a perfect life--with a perfect job, a fiancé she loves so much and everything about her life seems perfect. But then suddenly, her perfect life crashes when someone is out to destroy her. From ruining her presentation on her big day to her computer being hacked and someone writing obscene things in her car, someone is clearly determined to ruin Lauren's life. Then Lauren loses her fiance, her job and she is determined to find out who is out to destroy her.

Let's start with the plot--the plot of the story is intriguing. Lauren whose life is perfect seems to have angered someone who is set to take revenge. As a reader, I am curious what Lauren would have done--was it to do with work or something to do with past? Either way, it was engaging and intriguing.

The thriller is fast paced and quick to read that you could actually finish the book really quick. I do like a fast paced thriller so that's a plus for me. However, I didn't find much twists and turns that you would normally find in a thriller. The story seems direct, and to me, the suspects are few that you could easily pick out who is the one who is plotting revenge against Lauren. The writing was OK and at times, there were some parts that I found meh.

The characters are OK to me. I could easily understand Lauren's frustration and her determination to find out who is ruining her nearly perfect life.

Over all, this was a good thriller--fast paced, quick to read and finish. Worth four stars!

Thank you Netgalley and publisher for granting me an ARC of this books. The review is based on my honest opinion only.

Lauren's life is a disaster. Someone is targeting her and it gets worse by the minute. This was a fast-paced, solid read. It made me want to shut down my social media and go live on a remote island. But, with friends like those, who needs enemies?

Despite my best efforts, I didn’t love this book. I wish it had set up the characters a little more before getting into the action. The people that love Lauren the most should have known her well enough to know that things were out of character and given her the benefit of the doubt?? If I was her, I’d be hella pissed that my fiancé, family and friends all deserted me and believed the worst of me like that!

I picked the culprit early on and I thought the ending was disproportionate to the rest of the book. It was fast paced which I liked but it wasn’t one of my favourites.

I personally really enjoyed Now You Know by Nora Valters. I found the main character interesting and easy to connect with. I will say the beginning of the book was pretty slow and a little hard to get into. The second half of the book really picked up and I found myself hooked. I would recommend this book if you love a good mystery.

Lauren's picture perfect life is quickly turned upside down in a matter of moments. She loses her fiancé, job, access to her bank accounts and is blasted on social media. Who could hate Lauren so much that they're determined to ruin her life? Lauren will do whatever it takes to find out.

There was no richness to this story...it was mostly just dialogue and very basic language. She got up. OMG! She walked to the kitchen. The writing seemed very juvenile, as did the overall plot. Also, so many unbelievable things happen. At one point Lauren's social media accounts are hacked and very hateful posts are made in her name. Without a second thought everyone in her life immediately believes she made these remarks. It doesn't seem very realistic that all her friends and family would find someone who doesn't normally speak like this guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. The ending was tied up very quickly and a bit too conveniently.

I'm giving this book 3 stars because it was very fast paced and the ending did surprise me.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the ARC.

Lauren seems to be happily enjoying life with a great PR job, a beautiful home and wonderful fiance until suddenly everything seems to be going wrong. At first she thinks its just bad luck until the series of events starts to culminate and nobody seems to believe her.
Nora Valters has written a great storyline which kept me enthralled, eagerly turning the pages to discover just who is responsible for sabotaging Lauren, The ending is totally unpredictable, although i did feel it fell away a just a little bit..

I loved this book! The story line intrigued me from the beginning and kept me interested. If a book doesn't peak my interest after two chapters I am done. I actually felt the aniexty from the main character! With technology being what it is today this should be interesting to many readers. Definitely questioning what is on my computer and phone. I am interested in following this author and reading more of her work.

Lauren’s life is falling apart. Who wants to destroy her life? Can she figure who it is before her life can get any worse?! Is she able to restore what she has lost?! A slow start but got better as it went along. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
