My what a read now I'm actually eager to read the first book in this series and the last one when it's released because i really want to know what happened Next
I adored the storyline, the plot and Kassie, Mike, Chris and Annie's relationship and just couldn't get enough of them that i finished this book in one sitting. It's safe to say Valerie Taylor has etched herself as an author to read for me and i cannot wait to read more books from her.

Thank you NetGalley, Valerie Taylor and Independent Book Publishers Association for the ARC of
What's Not True. This is my personal review.
This book was a soap opera that was a book that had so much happening. It was a roller coaster of a ride. I had to stop and think and scratch my head saying to myself – “Did I just read what I read?”. It was quite a story and it kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next.
This is the second book in a series, and I am going to have to read the first to get a good handle on who was who and help me keep them all straight. It was fun to read and it makes me want to read the next book in the series.

This book is like a soap opera. There are several characters who are having affairs. One of the couples had a baby in high school that was adopted by another. Whew! This book is the second in a series, and I think it would’ve been helpful to read the first one. I kept getting confused, at first, and had to back up and check. This was not my typical genre of books, but ended up being pretty good.

I wish to thank NetGalley and Independent Book Publishers for allowing me to read an advanced copy of this book. I have voluntarily read and reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow! I would not want to do a genealogy study on the characters in this book. Their family tree would be full of twists and turns. The book is really complicated. There are a lot of scenarios in it and one could get lost or confused sorting them out. I admit I liked the book but it belongs in the soap opera category. The main focus is Kassie who is about to be divorced and is trying to sort out her life. She takes a trip and reconnects with a former lover. That sounds simple enough doesn’t it? Well you will have to read this one to make your own decision about just how wrong situations can become. I do recommend it as a fun read and it will keep your interest. If you need an escape book this will do it for you.

Loved this book about a woman called Kassie and how she fights for what is hers. Kassie meets a former lover in Paris and falls in love but while waiting for her divorce her soon to be ex husband has a heart attack and then the fight begins with his fiancee who is conniving and can't wait to get married to Kassie's ex husband.
so many twists and turns this book I could not put it down.

What’s Not Trie is the second I’d a series, though it can stand alone. Complicated lives, twists, characters who are flawed. Cute and relatable.

The first thing that came to my mind after finishing this book is: Thankfully I'd read "What's not said", the previous book of this collection.
We meet again the original cast: Kassie, Chris, Mike and Karen. There are new challenges and the author guides the reader through them with ease.
It's a good summer read, uncomplicated but with assertive twists. I particularly liked the epilogue.

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I unfortunately could not get into this book. I knew that it was the second in a series, though it could be read as a stand alone title. I had trouble following the characters and their relationships to one another. I may go back and read the first book and then try this again.

This book would give a run for the money any soap opera's plot! Where else could you find that Kassie who is still technically married to Mike is sleeping with her stepson? Or that Karen, who birthed said stepson, is driving to be married to Mike? To top it all off, Kassie's cat is named about the adopted son. Simply campy and one to enjoy over a glass of champagne.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.

What's Not True is a sequel to What's Not Said. I really enjoyed the first book and could not wait for this one to come out.

The story continues with Kassie trying to restart her career. However, there are other forces at play when her ex whisks her off to Paris and they restart their relationship after a miserable year apart. Then her boss finds out she is in Paris, sends her to a meeting where a fantastic opportunity is dangled in front of her. Can she have the guy AND the dream opportunity??

However, before any decisions can be made, they need to fly home as Kassie's soon-to-be ex-husband has suffered a heart attack and she needs to make decisions. What will happen next???

I really enjoyed this book and excited to see a follow-up will be coming. YAY!

This is a story about how life can get so complicated and complex. The title What's Not True will give you an idea of what is going to happen because at times, that is what I thought, is this true or is this not true. It will keep you guessing and wondering, but we see things start to unravel and fall into place.
The book kept me reading because of the complexities and complications. It started out with Mike and Kassie were married, and they both had thriving businesses. But when Mike got sick and needed a kidney, and none of them were a match, everything changed. Life is a journey and as they continue to follow it, they have to stop and make decisions. Some decisions have consequences and some reveals answers.
I received an ARC from Independent Book Publishers Association through NetGalley.

With her court date set for her divorce and her plans with the younger man in the rearview mirror, Kassie O’Callaghan shifts attention to reviving her stalled career. But things get complicated when she unexpectedly rendezvous with her former lover in Paris. After a chance meeting there with a colleague and a stroll along Pont Neuf, Kassie receives two compelling proposals. Can she accept them both?

But Kassie’s decision process screeches to a halt when her soon-to-be ex-husband has a heart attack, forcing her to fly home to Boston. There, she confronts his conniving and deceitful fiancée—a woman who wants not just a ring on her finger but everything that belongs to Kassie. In the ensuing battle to protect what’s legally and rightfully hers, Kassie discovers that sometimes it’s what’s not true that can set you free. Throughly enjoyable. Great twist at the end. Will keep this author on my radar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Talk about a complicated love story with so many interwoven characters and plot twists I was hooked. I enjoyed the multiple POVs I this one and the witty dialogue between them all. It’s definitely not your average romance but I loved it. The ending was a fantastic twist and I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
