A big thank you to NetGalley and Skyhorse Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I have been divorced for a couple of years with adult children. I truly enjoyed this book. I liked its frankness, found it helpful and humorous. It is insightful and well organized. I would recommend this book. 4 stars
Thank you to NetGalley for an E-ARC in exchange for my honest feedback and review.
I really enjoyed that this book came from a real life situation without being clinical about it. I got a lot of great tips and advice from this book. I would break out this book from time to time to review a few things. I can see this being helpful for someone in the process of divorce.
F*ck Divorce is a book of putting your life back together after a divorce and giving hope that the new normal will be good if not great. It shines a light on a multitude of topics that a new single person might face.
The title caught my attention not because I was going or entering into a divorce but because a close friend is entering into the beginning of separation. I requested it to read in hopes of finding words, suggestions or ideas to help her. The book was wonderful, funny and educational. I have already started using activities with groups that I work with. We already have a bulletin board with “I am “statements. I highly recommend F*ck Divorce not just for someone experiencing a divorce but anyone needing some self-care which is everyone. Thank you Erica Slotter, Patrick Markey, Skyhorse Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.
