This book provides a good base in managing technology in your house. It is compiled in 3 main age based categories (model, manage and monitor) and approach tech vocabulary, online safety, first phone, sexual education, social media, gaming.
I find these guidelines useful and practical in talking with children about screen time and risks encountered when buying first phone.
I do recommend this book to parents of young children. They will have a good start in educating and implementing good habits of phone use.
Model, Manage, Monitor may sound like common sense, but in this modern age, managing digital access of young people can be challenging, and the author is very educated on the topic, and this shows through the book. As a parent of kids aged 3 - 13, I found it a useful book for understanding and navigating this modern age of parenting. I recommend this book to all parents. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
