Perfect recipes if you are planning a Bridgerton themed tea party. The accompanying photos make each recipe look delightful. The recipes are easy to follow.
What an excellent selection of tea time recipes to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. I've already tried many of them and have the rest scheduled for our upcoming tea times. A must have for anyone who loves the celebration that a tea party can bring to everyday.
I love Bridgerton and I loved this cookbook. Filled with all types of recipes and some seem easy to follow! Some seem more fancy or sophisticated for a dinner party or a hosting event. I love cookbooks that revolve around a book series!
I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this book. I really enjoyed reading it the plot was interesting and the characters made me want to know more about them. I highly recommend.
Many thanks to Skyhorse Publishing for the advanced reader copy of this book, for which I'm providing this unbiased review:
For Anglophiles and Regency Romance-lovers alike, Teamtime at Grosvenor Square by Dahlia Clearwater will be the talk of your ton (or book club...or cooking club)! Filled to the brim with scrumptious receipts for sweets, savories, dinner, and drinks for any entertaining occasion, novice and time-constrained chefs will appreciate Clearwater's accessible dishes and time-saving recommendations (including swapping rotisserie chicken and/or canned chicken for traditionally cooked chicken breasts). Though there is considerable variety and even the pickiest palate will likely find something to enjoy, most recipes (with the exception of several dinner recipes and cocktails) contain at least one animal product.
Delightful and a must have for fans of Bridgestone and tea time! These are recipes I will actually use. I loved the Cranberry Brie Bites (would be great for holidays, as well) and look forward to trying more recipes soon.
This beautiful cookbook makes me want to start watching Bridgerton!
Everything is so beautiful and scrumptious looking. My mouth is literally watering as I’m reading these wonderful recipes.
I can just imagine having Tea or Brunch with scones or little sandwiches.
Now I just need someone to cook and serve like I’m wealthy and live in some fancy house!
Seriously though, all these recipes are totally giving off Bridgerton vibes and if you’re a fan, you must check this Cookbook out!
Bridgerton is one of my favourite series I watched in a while. When I found this book I simply had to have it.
I really loved the way it was designed and put together. I really liked the different recipes and enjoyed trying a few of them out.
I would really recommend this book to every Bridgerton Fan who loves to bake and maybe wants to throw their own personal teaparty.
Delicious recipes presented here, decadent trifles and the Coffee Bean Blancmange, oh my! Unfortunately I am not a Bridgerton fan, but can definitely say that these recipes are worth a look!
I really enjoyed this cookbook and I will definitely be making some of these recipes. I think this was a great addition to the Bridgerton series.
*4.5 stars*
My eyes and tummy both say 'Yummy'!
This book was a feast for the eyes and the tummy. The beautiful cover (that cakes looks AMAZING) and the tie to Bridgerton caught my attention right away. Delectable treats and a connection somehow to a much talked about television series? I was all in….
Recipes ranged from savoury appetizers and complete meals to every type of sweet confection. Fruit jams, nut-filled cookies, and meat pies and roast of the day were on full display. Each recipe was prefaced with a hook to the show of some flavour – whether a character, a characteristic or a physical location - there was something to tie the ingredients and offering.
I’ve tried a few of the simpler dishes that ranged from classic treats to their more modern English offerings/twists. There was lots to choose from as page after page offered different delights. For me, the ties to the show were brief, I would have loved more. I can’t fault the quantity and quality of the recipes themselves, though, the stars that really shined here. The way they were displayed and photographed so beautifully really pulled me into that time period. I want to learn more now… And try more of these recipes!
The electronic version was lovely and a print version could only be even better. Either way, this is one cook/bake book I would be happy to have on my shelves. And a treadmill, I’ll need a treadmill…
I adore this cookbook. I genuinely can't wait to have it in physical format. Not only is it filled with delicious looking photographs and recipes, but it really holds true to the tone of the Netflix series. Honestly even if you don't know anything about this series, this is still a wonderful beautiful book. Especially for people who hold teatime events. Some of the recipes are really special and it's truly filled with things I've never even heard of but look amazing, such as coffee Bean blanmange, raspberry almond mousse, (I'm dying to try that one because I love raspberries and it looks so good) and Dill cream cheese vol au vents, which seems to be a delicious but more impressive and lighter version I have a cucumber sandwich. I think the recipes in this book could really impress people at an event. I will absolutely update this review as I am able to try things, but after reading the recipes, I am quite convinced that the food in this book will be delicious. Of course I will test that theory a lot 😂
For sure, if you are a fan of the show, you will be a fan of this book.
Thank you #netgalley for the opportunity to read and peruse the recipes in this book in exchange for an honest review.
A beautiful tome. It inspires you to sit and enjoy the afternoon, talk and inhale the tea mist rising. It’s full of possible menus traditional and modern . The cakes are delicious once you get the hang of the language. It makes you want to dress up to eat.
A delightful book, It's a great book to go with Teatime! Beautifully photographed, the pictures alone will have you running to the kitchen to make the recipe! While I have not watched the series for this I did like the book and think there's quite a few recipes to be made!
Teatime at Grosvenor Square is a sweet and pretty book. None of the recipes are unique but are well written and the photos are super. For someone who is interested in Bridgerton but unfamiliar with English cooking, this book would be a great gift. The book has a great basic scone recipe and clotted cream recipe, which is essential for celebrating with British food. This is a really nice basic cooking book with pretty photos accompanying the recipes.
This cookbook was such a fun read! I loved all of the different recipes and beautiful photos that accompany each choice. For anyone who is loving the Bridgerton series, this book is a great companion to use with it.
If you are a fan of Downton Abbey and Bridgerton and past days this is one for you.
Seventy Five delightful receipes ranging from sandwiches with their crusts cut off, to scones, clotted cream and various jams and then on
to the cakes and petit fours of the time this is a must read if not to cook to at least drool over.
I thoroughly enjoyed the precise and beautifully descriptive receipes.
Teatime At Grosvenor Square offers teatime treats inspired by the megahit Bridgerton, and the opulent lifestyle displayed. Who doesn't love an English tea? Here the treats are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat!
The cake on the cover, topped with berries and flowers, is a good guide for what to expect inside the cover. The beauty of the food to the eye is given as much consideration as the taste. The book is divided into five sections, and along with the expected tea canapes and sweets, there is a section on dinner party fare and cocktails. The overall decadence reminds me a little of the food pictured in the Marie Antoinette movie made a few years ago, but this has a strong nod to the regency era.
This is a great cookbook for fans of the Bridgerton series, as well as lovers of the art of the British tea. I found many recipes I want to try. My only caveat, some of these recipes do not look like they are for the beginning cook. Overall this book is as much a feast for the eye as for the palette!
Thank you to NetGalley, author Dahlia Clearwater, and Skyhorse Publishing for this ARC.

Having just got into watching the series on Netflix and seeing all of the drama that is happening around in the show and if it stays popular than anticipated, it's always a good idea to have some dishes and munchies to snack on inspired by the show. I am also a fan of English teatime and the tea sandwiches and pastries that associate with it so it is wonderful to add another teatime cookbook to not only our library collection but my personal collection as well. I know our community will appreciate a tea time inspired cooking demo especially if it has the theme of Bridgerton which will add an extra element of excitement. Or just simply if you like to binge-watch the show on Netflix, you can have some munchies to snack on.
We will consider adding this title to our TX Non-Fiction collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
This might be a book that is not well served in the Kindle e-book format. The recipes sound good, but it's missing a lot of the "eye candy" that recipe books need. The photos that are included are small and black and white. They don't inspire me to bake any of the recipes. The recipes are plentiful though and seems to be on theme.
