Teatime at Grosvenor Square by Dahlia Clearwater is an excellent Regency- era Cookbook that gives a wonderful array of teatime goodies.

I loved this collection. Not only does it contain appetizers, but also scones, cakes, treats, food that also has more substance (as in full meals), and cocktails.
My favorite recipes that I was initially drawn to and will try first are: Turkey and Brie Tea Sandwiches, Proper English Scones, Spiced Tea Cookies, Best-Dressed Baked Apples.

I love this and highly recommend it.

Let me first get into the right frame of mind to review this cookbook.....alright, ready to go.

Teatime at Grosvenor Square is a delightful little tome filled to the brim with delectable delicacies that shall leave your teatime companions tittering with excitement.

Ok, more seriously, I’m not a fan of Bridgerton, but based on my preconceptions, this cookbook hits the nail on the head and will be a hit with fans.

The dishes seem perfect for a fancy dinner party or even a Sunday book club meeting. The canapés should elevate any get together and I’m probably going to gain 5lbs burning through the dessert recipes (already made the lemon trifles....woooo! Tasty!).

The dishes are mostly manageable for beginners but some require more intermediate level skills.

Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!

I admit that I have only watched part of one episode of Bridgerton, the series that everyone seems to be raving about. I may go back and watch more. In the meantime though, I will enjoy some of the scrumptious recipes that are in this book. I am enough of an Anglophile to know that there is no time like teatime, so I am eager to sample some of these treats.

This title is broken into chapters on canapes; scones and spreads; teatime sweets; dinner party fare; and Regency Cocktails. So many things look delicious but I admit that I especially love scones so that was my favorite section.

The recipes are varied and look easy to follow. So if you are an Anglophile and.or Bridgerton fan, this book is for you!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
