Can't say I've ever read a romance with a female character who is so frequently described as unattractive?

That being said - I loved the development of this couple and the personal growth achieved by the male protag.

Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager and Olivia Dade for the gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

Olivia Dade is one of my fave authors, which is why I took so dang long to finally review this one. I wanted to love it. I really did. I tried harder to love this book than I did my toxic ex and that's saying something. Unfortunately, the plot was a little dry and the characters so over the top they became caricatures of themselves. This just wasn't a fave of mine. However, I do still love Olivia Dade and will absolutely read her newer works!

Olivia Dade is by far one of my favorite, auto-buy authors and this book does NOT disappoint! This book has so much awesomeness, including but not limited to: one bed trope, pegging (because duh, Alex) slow burn romance, open door spice, body shaming (not from the main characters), great friendships and family. I am really glad that although Marcus and April were in this book, it was light exposure so it didn't overwhelm the main characters plot lines. Even though the story started slow, the character development was great and I really enjoyed where it ended. Another delightful read

While I have been a fan of Olivia's books in the past, this one just wasn't for me. I have read books after this one, and enjoyed them. I just didn't connect to these characters, unfortunately.

I usually love anything by Olivia Dade, and while I did enjoy this one, it’s not a favorite. Her quirky characters are a little unbelievable and the commentary about Wren’s body by Alexander is too much at times. It makes it hard to reconcile their growing relationship with his comments. Maybe skip this one.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about Alexander after seeing him in Spoiler Alert. There are characters that feel one note enough that they might be too much as a star. But I was wrong. I like when a romance series show that people are multifaceted and flawed but still good to get to know. His relationship with Lauren felt like it would be forced but it wasn't.

Olivia Dade writes her characters with such tenderness and clarity. They feel SO real, particularly in All the Feels.

All the Feels is an utterly charming and engaging, slow-burn follow-up to Spoiler Alert. I was rooting for our main characters the whole time!

Charming and delightful, Ms. Dade's second novel in her "Spoiler Alert" is worth the read. This was a new author read I received from Netgalley for my personal review.

3.25 stars. Overall I did like this, though I preferred Spoiler Alert over this book. Lauren was a great FMC and I really liked her POV. I mainly struggled with the MMC Alex, he just acted so childish at times it was hard to think of him as a love interest. I also liked it more as it went along, the beginning was hard to get into. I think I will continue this series eventually, I am excited for Book 3!

I know this story is not the same. Actors vs band members. But I got the same vibes I had back when I Read The Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott.
It's be a while now. So I can't remember exactly which book it was. But the whole planned companion to fix the "bad boy" image had all those same boxes ticked.

There was a lot of tension that lead to moments that then payed off in this story. And I had to fight the pull of not putting this one down until I was finished.

Definitely one I would suggest to any of my friends for some tension but good romance

TL;DR:
- 3.25 stars
- Content warnings: fatshaming, fatphobia, ADHD rep, cruelty regarding appearance
- A famous movie star gets into a bit of trouble and his charge has been instructed to keep him out of it. But what if he gets himself into more over her?

Liked:
- Who doesn't like a famous person x real person story?! I will always pick one of these up, no matter the circumstances.
- Unlike most people I liked the interstitials! It gave a real 2000s romcom feeling and spiced up the storyline to me.

Less Into:
- Lauren's family, frankly, was horrible. And so were many other people in the book regarding her weight and her appearance. I know people can be this cruel and have seen it, but it was hard to read, honestly. This may not be an issue for everyone! (Made even harder to understand by the cover art, they're both so cute on it and the book continually references misshapen and asymmetrical features on Lauren's face).
- I found the platonic love between Alex and Lauren super believable. Two people helping each other through hard moments in life. But the transition to romantic feelings wasn't quite there for me, mostly on the side of Lauren. I didn't feel the inflection point where she was like "hey. I think I like this guy a lot." was believable. She felt so much more mature and capable than him.

Overall cute but lacking the oomph I was expecting. Still a very lovely read.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

3.5 stars rounded up. I know Dade is lauded for her fat rep, but I personally wasn't a fan. I found the rep to almost be secondary plot, instead of a fat person simply existing. What saved the story was Alex. He was very charming and hard to resist as the book developed. However, even then, there were moments where I struggled as he was portrayed more as a child than an adult coping with ADHD.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for this advanced copy.

All the Feels can be read as a standalone novel from the Spoiler Alert series, but I believe I enjoyed it a lot more having read the first book in the series, Spoiler Alert, prior to reading this one.

I found the banter between Lauren and Alex to feel genuine. I didn’t like the 3rd act breakup AT ALL, but I do think both parties apologized and communicated appropriately after the fact. The steamy factor that Olivia Dade writes is off the charts! Chapter 26 in this novel is definitely worth diving into!

I still have the 3rd book in this series to read, and I’m looking forward to that storyline very much!

This was super cute! I think this book was about 50 pages too long but otherwise a really cute story of unlikely people being soul mates.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for giving me a free eARC of this book to read in exchange for my review!

I had a hard time reviewing this because I don’t think I want to admit that I was disappointed by All the Feels. I’m not sure if I read the blurb wrong initially or imagined it or something, but I was looking forward to a road trip romance and it just wasn’t what I expected. This review is definitely not indicative of Olivia Dade’s writing.

Thanks to Avon and NetGalley for my copy to review.

This was super cute. I love reading books with plus size main characters. We exist and deserve representation in chick lit too.
