I loved this book so very much! It certainly works as a standalone, which I appreciate, but I did enjoy seeing where there was overlap with Spoiler Alert.
It was so wonderful getting to know Alex and Lauren. I found it especially fascinating getting into Alex's head since he has ADHD. It was a perspective I don't think I had read before in a romance novel, and I appreciate the representation there. I enjoyed how Lauren and Alex were opposites in many ways, including how Lauren was really introspective and thoughtful versus Alex and his extroverted, sometimes impulsive tendencies.

I think my favorite part about this story was the fact that there was not an instant attraction to Lauren for Alex. I loved watching it grow, almost sneak up on him, really. It felt so authentic and made their relationship more beautiful, to me.

I also appreciated that Lauren was realistic about her looks, but not ashamed- and those things should not be confused! She knows how she is perceived by society as a fat woman, and how that affects her life and potential relationships. Alex's reactions to situations that arose were realistically naive, but also sweet. And holy cow, I loved the final interview and Lauren's response to the audience question. Perfection!

Overall, a wonderful book, with great character development, hot sex, and fantastic story. I love, love, love Olivia Dade and can't wait to read her next book!

I was so pumped to read All the Feels by Olivia Dade after falling in love with the first book in this series, Spoiler Alert. (Read my review here!) While the first in the series is still my favorite, All the Feels was a fun, rewarding read with memorable characters. If you love the grumpy/sunshine trope, this one's for you.

While you don't need to read Spoiler Alert to understand All the Feels, the two books do share characters, namely Alex. Alex is our hero. He's an actor on a popular show and is very unhappy with its final season. (Looking at you, Game of Thrones.) Alex has ADHD and his producers think his behavior is out of control after Alex gets into a bar brawl, the full story of which they are unaware of and don't ask about. They hire Lauren as his minder to get through the next few months through the end of the season.

Lauren is Alex's opposite - reserved, in charge, and unemotional. She has dealt with a lot at her previous job and her position as Alex's "nanny" is almost like a vacation for her. This is a slow burn romance with two very different people who are attracted to one another ignoring the signs and becoming friends before they finally get physical and romantic.

If you enjoy slow burns, this one's for you. I really enjoyed the connection between Alex and Lauren, whom he calls Wren, though their particular version of banter (lots of teasing) isn't my favorite. I can tell that Olivia Dade genuinely loves her characters. This story was crafted with a lot of heart. I enjoyed watching Lauren learn to advocate for herself while Alex sat back and offered support, even when he wanted to fight on her behalf. While I preferred the first in the series, I highly recommend All the Feels. It was a very enjoyable 3 star read for me.

will be on my blog in 2022

Alex seems to have it all as the actor on one of the biggest TV shows, but after a scandal the show runners hire Lauren to keep him in line. But the more time they spend together, the lines get blurred and their professional relationship begins to become a romantic one.

Okay first of all, I love the body positivity in all of Olivia Dade’s books and this one was no exception! The chemistry in this book was intense and it had plenty of banter and a few steamy scenes! I loved seeing this relationship develop and how open and vulnerable the became with each other as they got to know each other better. Alex has ADHD and I thought the portrayal was so accurate and so well done based on my experiences with my husband. I definitely look forward to reading more from Olivia Dade in the future.

Thanks to Avon Books for the advanced copy.

It has been awhile since I read this but I am finally getting around to writing a review! I absolutely loved the characters of Alex and Lauren, and as with Spoiler Alert, I love how Olivia Dade represents and portrays fat women. While this book didn't capture my heart quite as quickly as Spoiler Alert did, I was more than thrilled to spend a couple of days between the sheets, er, pages of this adorable sequel. Cannot wait for book 3!

When Lauren is hired to be Alex's minder, they both decide to try and make the most of it. Alex is funny, unfiltered, and has a heart of gold. Lauren is resilient, smart, and charming. They have to be together all the time, wherever he goes, so does she. Is there more depth to Alex than meets the eye? Can their close proximity, and easy conversations turn their relationship into something more?

I had a hard time with the first half of this book, I felt like it kept dragging on, I found myself confused at times, and I was just waiting for more to happen. The second half is definitely better, and once I got there it was definitely a much easier read. I really love Alex's character, he's hilarious. He says whatever he's thinking and is so entertaining, and even when it's not always kind, he's not usually mean. I enjoyed their relationship together, for the most part they talked pretty openly about things, and weren't afraid of their emotions, and I think between the two of them, they had a good basis for their relationship. For this reason, the miscommunication part of the story was a little surprising to me, while Alex can be impulsive, and Lauren might not always see what's right in front of her, it didn't really feel like it fit with the two of them. I enjoyed Spoiler Alert and was anticipating this novel but it fell a bit flat for me.

Thank you Netgalley and Avon for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review!

This was even better than spoiler alert! Very self aware and self deprecating while also being highly engaging. Very excited to see other titles

YESSS!!!!! Opening up Olivia Dade's book is like snuggling into a comfortable couch with a mug of hot chocolate. Each book is cozy and warm and gives me butterflies. This one was no different and I loved every page.

This book did exactly what it set out to do. It made me feel All the Feels.
I love Olivia Dade. She knows exactly what her plus-sized readers want in a romance. A romance that really isn't all about their weight, but knowing that it is something on their minds a lot.

The romance between Lauren and Alex went through every trope that is loved. Enemies to Lovers and Friends to Lovers, One Bed, Forced Proximity... all of it.

I took my sweet sweet time reading this, and I am sad it's over. But I'm so glad it exists.

All The Feels by Olivia Dade

"The woman in the portrait wasn't beautiful. But beauty wasn't the point."
Beauty might not have been the point with Alex Woodroe when describing his favorite Picasso painting, but I can certainly say that everything shared in All The Feels was beautiful. Alex, an actor who plays Cupid in a show called "Gods of the Gates", makes the mistake of not voicing his opinion on where the show is headed and regrets it. Lauren Clegg, the woman who is meant to keep him in check so he doesn't lose his job, is there because she needed a break from being a therapist in the ER.

Her patience is tested little by little by Alex. The same Alex who Lauren finds writing a fix-it fic about Gods of the Gates in the middle of the night. (A plus about him is that he knows the troupes, the AUs, and the cliches)

It would be impossible not to love them both. Lauren’s Big Harpy Energy is going to stick with me forever. She is a plus-sized queen (as she should)! Dealing with strangers (and even family members) who don’t pay attention to her because she isn’t the ideal version of pretty and it’s made her become the kind of person who is comfortable with being pushed to the side. It was so beautiful to see a character like her. Sometimes you do have to step out of your comfort zone and say something when people are being ridiculous.

Alex? It is also impossible not to love him. He has some ghosts from the past still following him around but he learns to understand them. One big thing I love about him (other than his great fanfic writing and acting skills) is that, throughout the entire story, not ONCE does he use Lauren’s weight against her. You would think he might let it slip and apologize after. No. He encourages her to stand up against people that say negative things about her image. He loves her for who she is and that is really all you can ask for.

They were both in the wrong at certain times and together they learned the importance of working to be a better version of themselves.

✨ok so I went in expecting pegging and I what I got was even better✨

(I would kill to read one of Alex’s complete Cupid pegging fanfics though)

Tropes:
- plus size heroine (with unconventional body shape)
- annoyance to love
- friends to lovers-ish?
- hero defends heroine
- debonair hero
- grumpy heroine
- hero insults heroine but then falls heads over heels in love with her
- only one bed

TW: making fun of body shape, ADHD, domestic abuse

How can I describe how this book made me feel? I loved it so much.

This book was significantly more emotional than Spoiler Alert and I was totally alright with that. This book was filled with beautiful discussions, vulnerable scenes, realistic flaws in the characters, and more.

The discussions around body image and self worth were beautiful and struck such a cord with me. I am a mid-size woman who has always struggled with her body dysmorphia, this book connected with me in such a deep manner. I definitely found myself tearing up in multiple parts of the book.

In typical Dade fashion, this book gave me the faith that everyone deserves love and can be loved no matter what stage in life they are.

I loved reading the way Alex slowly fell for Lauren. The development of their relationship was written seamlessly and with enough time given for both to work through their issues and properly fall for the other.

The scene where he stood up for her still makes me melt. We saw a glimpse of it in Spoiler Alert but we got to see it from Alex and Lauren's side in this book.

One thing that I didn’t love was how much Alex commented about Lauren’s body, it was very overwhelming at some points. I get reading book that makes you hurt a little and then fixes you, but it can get to be a lot sometimes. But also keep in mind, I was reading this book when I was not in a good mindset about my body. I was a little upset that Alex was 40 years old but still did behave very immaturely at times. But other than that, I loved the book.

This book was filled to the brim with witty humor which perfectly balanced the beautifully written emotional topics and scenes in the book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/ 5 stars | 🌶🌶🌶/ 5 steam

Thank you to Avon, Netgalley, and the wonderful Olivia Dade for an eARC in exchange for my honest opinion ❤️

This book is the sequel to Spoiler Alert which came out last year and I extremely enjoyed it since the heroine is a big woman. In that same vein, the heroine is another big woman which I love. This book basically tells the romance of Alex and his minder Lauren, who was hired to watch him after he was arrested in a bar fight. Alex is a celebrity who plays Cupid in Gods of the Gates. Lauren is a burned-out ER therapist who eventually learns how to stand up for herself. Alex and Lauren were so good together but the author decided to draw out them having sex until the last third of the book. I love me some smut in the books I read. This was a great sequel to Spoiler Alert and I hope that the author continues the series.

I had very anxiously awaited this book and I was not disappointed. I am a big Olivia Dade fan. As a plus size woman, and romance reader, it's always refreshing to find books with plus sized main characters where their size isn't their entire identity and they aren't fetishized for it.

I loved Alex's character. While he had his struggles, he just came off as a genuinely nice guy. I also really like Lauren and the way she always thought logically and handled the realities of the situation.
I also really like how the relationship developed between Alex and Lauren. It was definitely a slow burn which I felt was the right way to go for the two of them. The book was funny lots of the time but also tackles some tough topics which I think the author did a good job of.

I really enjoyed the romance between Alex and Lauren. I've read a few reviews where others have said they didn't feel a connection or think they had chemistry but I disagree whole heartedly on that . I think if it has been an insta-love, or even insta-lust situation it would have ruined the dynamics of their relationship. Overall I really enjoyed the book and as always I'm looking forward to reading more.

All the Feels is an amazing fun read! Readers are introduced to Alex and Lauren's story, return characters from book one in the series. Like Spoiler Alert (book 1) I loved the fact that Lauren is intelligent, curvy and strong willed. I also loved the inclusion of Alex being ADHD and seeing the struggles he encounters due to medication. These are things that I don't often see in older contemporary romance. The banter between the two characters is laugh out loud and the chemistry is delectable. Overall, a fun romantic read with some real life struggles thrown in. Wonderful.

Ooooooh I loved this book. Better than Spoiler Alert, IMO. Alex, the actor playing Cupid on Ms. Dade's GOT-esque show, got himself into a bit of a barfight while filming the final season of his show. He is stuck with the asshole showrunner's cousin as a handler to babysit him through the rest of his responsibilities in filming and promoting said show. Lauren immediately intrigues him with her less-than-Hollywood looks and very dry demeanor. Alex, who has been diagnosed with and is actively treated for ADHD, is determined to get past Lauren's stony exterior. Lauren, on a break from work after being burnt out as a clinical therapist in the ER, did not expect to take on Alex when she came to Spain for a vacation and visited her cousin's film set, but here she is. Alex seems like he's carefree and extremely impulsive, but she catches glimpses of something running deeper. Their mandated time together eventually just feels natural, and when it appears that Alex does not actually need a handler, what will Lauren do with herself?

This was a highly nuanced romp with a slow burn romance. The portrayal of Alex's adult ADHD isn't something you usually see in romances, and reading the ways that he deals with it was so interesting. Lauren aka Wren was so patient and (mostly) unflappable. Again, a realistic portrayal of a plus-size heroine-- yay!! Watching their friendship turn to romance was so satisfying, and I seriously did not want to put this one down.

4.5/5 stars

I really enjoyed this, even more than book 1! The chemistry between the two main characters was great and I personally loved how the story took its time before leaning into the romance. There were a couple of things I found a little cringy, but overall I had a great time with this story and I hope the author writes more!

I will start by saying I've never read Book 1 in this series and this is my first book by this author. I don't know how much of Book 1 is relevant because it's supposed to be a stand-alone, but I want to be transparent.
I truly disliked Alex from the very beginning. He is supposed to be rich, charming, attractive, nice, etc but I didn't read a charming, nice, charismatic H. I read a man who is obsessed with the looks of his minder/supposed to be his future love interest, and he can't get her resemblance to birds, her crooked/beak-like nose, her round shape, and short stature out of his mind for very long at a time. Oh and let's not forget how boring, fun sucking, quiet, a snooze, good time killing she is because that is what men look for and women want to read in their romance books... I think it was supposed to be the attractive hot guy who falls for the awkward, not so traditionally attractive girl, and isn't that cute and sweet. But to me, it read as the attractive, wealthy superficial jerk who grew an attachment that wasn't believable to the reader. "Nanny"/Lauren Clegg seems like a good-hearted, genuine young woman who is pooped on by everyone around her. I don't want to feel sorry for my heroine, not in this way. So for me, the attraction/love/steamy scenes weren't believable. I hate leaving negative reviews, and honestly, I rarely do, but this one is just uncomfortable, superficial, and totally felt like the high school jocks/dorks trope gone bad. I will not be reviewing this anywhere else out of respect for the author.

I loved this book. There were so many swoonworthy moments that had me captured from beginning to end. Also, similar to the first book in the series- behind lighthearted moments and snarky banter, this book has some really deep and meaningful themes around belonging, vulnerability, self sabotage, and what it means to find balance in life and relationships.

The steamy scenes were fun to read and communicated the passion that the main characters had for each other. I was delighted the entire time and can't WAIT for Book 3 next fall. This is becoming one of my favorite romance series of all time.

Okay, I ended up not finishing this one. As much as I wanted to love it, the characters just didn’t stick out to me enough for me to love them. I felt kind of bored, and found myself not wanting to pick it back up.

I was hesitant to this one at first, it definitely took me longer to get into it, but once I really started connecting with the characters, I fell in love with the book. I loved Alex and Lauren, and I love the way that Olivia discusses the reality of being a plus size person in today's world. It really spoke to me as a plus size person. It was also really interesting to see some of the same events from Spoiler Alert, but from Alex's perspective.
