Olivia writes some of my favorite characters and this was no exception! One of my favorite books of 2021.

The Good, The Bad, and Everything in Between
The Sitch: Alex is a troublemaker on the set of Gods of the Gates. Or at least that is how it seems to everyone. And Alex isn't about to explain himself to anyone. Much less the keeper his annoying boss has given him to watch him during the final days of the show. Lauren wasn't looking for it, but she ends up helping out her annoying cousin (and showrunner) by taking on the task of watching Alex. Time is spent in forced proximity, one bed trope is activated, and when their personal walls come down and they get to know each other, guess what? Romance happens.
The Good: When you have a hero who's the fanfic writer AND appreciates the tropes as they're happening? *chef's kiss* That's when you know you have a keeper. It was so fun to see Lauren's dry sense of humor come up against (heh) Alex's hyperfocused ways. They're both characters that I like. Both characters that I wanted to see find their happy, and not just with each other. And when the heat needs bringing, Ms. Dade supplied by the shedload.
She also brought the great little fanfic snippets or text chats and such to start off each chapter that just gives that added dimension to the story. Love those. I just really appreciate the quality of her writing. These are smart characters that don't dumb it down for brevity. And yes give me all the snark regarding Game of Thrones. It gives me joy.
I've said this before so I won't belabor the point, but I also find joy in a story that gives me that fat rep that I adore and need in my life, while NOT making the book all about that fat rep. It may surprise some people, but fat folx don't think about being fat 24/7. For some of us, it's just a fact of life. And reading a book where the heroine is fat and yet not spending her entire time fixating, is refreshing when I find it.
The Bad: Points off for <spoiler>no full pegging scene.</spoiler> Is this just my complaint and would it have made the story better? Probably not but I wanted it anyway. 🙃
Everything in Between: There are moments of frustration with both Alex and Lauren because of their personal journeys. It's a fine line to dance between frustration and oh lord I just want someone to slap them upside the head, but it all worked for me.
The Bottom Line
I loved this entry into the spoiler alert series and I can't wait to see what else Ms. Dade has in store. If you're into actor-actress romances and still harbor a wee bit of anger towards Game of Thrones lol, I think you'd like this series.

I loved this book so so much. Their chemistry was great. And I loved the depth of the characters and humor.

Olivia knows how to write fat representatiion. I really love All the Feels. The audio is excellent. Olivia was a guest to the podcast where she promoted this book.

I adored this book. I loved having an apple-shaped heroine, a body type that's very underrepresented in romance. This is a book where both the MCs are healing from trauma, and they' both start the book better at standing up for other people, than themselves. I was worried that this would be a therapist/client pairing, but Lauren doesn't have a therapeutic relationship with Alex. She is both super duper competent, but also vulnerable in a way that just sucked me in, and made me love her.
I liked the bits we saw of Alex in Spoiler Alert but he's just fantastic here. Snarky, ridiculous, impulsive, protective, and occasionally clueless. I loved the way these two have misunderstandings that are quickly resolved and apologized for. For example, Lauren often assumed that Alex's snark about her height, is about her weight or large nose.
As usual for Dade, she handles the surreal dynamics around dating a celebrity exceptionally well. If you like celebrity romances, this is a great one.

I really liked Spoiler Alert so I was excited to read this book. I love the way Olivia Dade, writes the witty banter, especially the texts they made me giggle. I liked Alex and Lauren, however it started to irk me the way Alex was constantly criticizing Lauren’s appearance so that dampened things a bit. Overall it was a good read though.

Spoiler-free!
I don't read romance, but this book went to #1 on my tbr list as soon as I saw it. Why? Well, I'm chunky, short, ADHDer, and tend to obsess about my celeb crushes. Yep, I'm THE intended target.
I was pleasantly surprised by Dade's voice. She's funny, witty, and raunchy af! The characters are well constructed, especially the protagonist, Nanny Clegg. The hotter-than-hell celeb, Alex, is the good-evil duality. I mean, he's not evil, but he made me wish he was real so I could punch him in the throat and then kiss him.
The plot is thin but loads of fun with sexy parts descriptive enough to trigger giggle fits and make me lower the volume on stop signs. Yeah, audiobook people beware; this is not safe to listen around kids.
Anyway, if you are a romance reader, give this or any of Dade's other works a try.

I LOVED this book. Alex and Lauren were perfection. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't put it down. Olivia Dade is a new auto-buy for me.

Well, I need to go kick past Stacee for taking so damn long to get to this story because it was fantastic.
I love love loved Lauren and Alex. I loved their banter and their instant chemistry and their incessant button pushing (really, it was Alex doing all of the button pushing, but Lauren played a bit too.) I loved his obsession with fanfiction and how he sucked everyone into reading it too. I loved how they both alternated between tender and crunchy. I think I could just list all of the things I loved and it still wouldn't be enough.
Plot wise, it was good. These two spend most of the book together and it's exactly what I wanted. The relationship unfurls organically and I really appreciated how they spent time getting to know each other and talking before romantic thoughts came into play. And can I tell you how fucking phenomenal the epilogue is?
Overall, these two were insanely easy to root for and I'm definitely going to go hunt down the first book because I need to get it in my eyeballs right now.
**Huge thanks to the publisher for providing the arc free of charge**

I loved Dade's first book but I couldn't even finish this one. I was very frustrated by Alex's thoughts about and treatment of Lauren. She deserved better.

After adoring Oliva Dade's first book, I was ecstatic to read her second book! Lauren and Alex have incredible chemistry and banter, and I adored seeing their hatred blossom into friendship and ultimately a relationship. During COVID-19 I've needed a good dose of what I call "feel good books" and All the Feels definitely made me feel good. I couldn't stop smiling while I was reading it!

Olivia Dade is quickly becoming an auto buy author for me. Alex and Laurens relationship was everything. We first get a glimpse of their relationship in Olivia Dade’s Spoiler Alert (which is a must read!) and knew that all those texts Alex was sending Marcus really meant he was falling in love with his new “babysitter.”
I thought the banter was spectacular. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved how they both couldn’t seem to realize that they were so into each other and once they did their relationship was elite.
“What did he need other than her love?” Ugh my heart. Alex feels so deeply and that resonated so much with me.
I thought the mentions and importance on guilt, domestic violence, burn out, and self love/ self worth we’re done very well.

I absolutely loved spoiler alert, so I was excited to dive into All the Feels. I had mixed feelings reading the book. I appreciate Dade's effort in creating characters that don't fit into the status quo, are different and relatable. However, I felt like she made the main character so different that it just felt awkward and cringy to read. I could not for the life of me picture the character she was describing and found it distracting that she was pushing how ugly she was supposed to be. I feel like the point was missed a bit.

This book was perfect for me. It was one of my most anticipated reads of 2021, so much so that when I got approved for the galley I read right away and could not put it down. Dade does a really good job crafting her characters and story. At first I didn't know if I would love it as much as I loved Spoiler Alert because Alex was very antagonistic to Lauren and that's not really my vibe. But it was very clear that this was his very bad attempt at flirting and it was hilarious seeing the interaction with Alex and Marcus where they talk about their feelings. I also enjoyed how slow of a burn this was. It was different than Spoiler Alert in that aspect but it really worked for the story and I loved that professional boundaries were not crossed. We love to see it. I also really loved that Lauren was categorized as not pretty. So many love stories feature a heroine who secretly gorgeous but I like that at the end of the day Lauren was an ordinary person, but Alex still loved her.
Like in the last book I loved the fanfiction element. I have been a fanfiction reader for almost as long as I have loved romance and it so lovely to see it in such a positive light these past few years.
Overall would highly recommend this book.

This book was… fine. I wish I had more to say about it. Olivia Dade is undoubtedly an excellent writer, but I just haven’t found the right book in her backlist to click with me. ALL THE FEELS is a Hollywood romance featuring a misbehaving actor and the woman hired by the studio to watch over him.
Let me preface this by saying I thought the ADHD representation was one of the best I have ever read. Both my younger brothers have ADHD, so the fact that Alex, the hero, also has ADHD and read exactly like my middle brother was… off-putting. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought the author actually knew my brother – the constant negging for attention, the need for physical activity, the impulsiveness in actions and words, and the sensitivity were all Alex’s main traits, and are all just like my brother. So, this book might have been an “it’s not you, it’s me” problem. Don’t get me wrong, I love my brother, and I actually really liked that Alex embodied some of his best and worst characteristics; I just couldn’t see Alex as a romantic lead because of the close comparisons.
I love a body-positive book, and I liked that Lauren wasn’t ashamed of her body and real-life challenges like finding dresses on short notice and the discomfort of airplane travel were discussed; I just didn’t like Lauren all that much. She was so mild compared to Alex’s over-the-top personality – and I think that would fit in a real-life relationship; I just wanted more from her. I also didn’t love the focus on how “unattractive” Lauren is. I’ve read other books with not conventionally attractive main characters that don’t rub me the wrong way. There was just something about the wording and constant, annoying attention on her face and body that I didn’t like in this romance novel.
Now, this makes it sound like I didn’t like the book. I did! Mainly in the second half of the book, when Alex and Lauren are really exploring their romantic connection, I thought that was fun. I loved the road trip and their many hijinks/misadventures together. The whole Hollywood/the hero having lots of money made for an interesting layer in their relationship. The book was an entertaining way to spend a few hours despite my hang-ups with the main characters.
Overall, I thought this book was okay. Nothing earth-shattering, but teetering on the edge of being really good. I will keep Olivia Dade on my TBR because I just know one of her books will knock my socks off – it just wasn’t this book.
**I received a free copy of this book in order to provide an honest review**

I didn't love this book the way I loved the first book in the series — Alex just in't as interesting as Marcus to me, and the book's investment in fandom felt much more superficial (maybe the problem there is that in this book, the female lead isn't in fandom?). There could have been a lot more about how the characters' fan activities express aspects of their characters, rather than just mostly "haha pegging funny."
That being said, I still really enjoyed it. I like that the book isn't shy about portraying Lauren as not conventionally attractive. I can't think of another book which looks societal expectations in the eye as levelly as this one does and goes "Yeah, and?" Also, big harpy energy is everything

Thank you so much Avon Books for sending me a free physical copy in exchange for an honest review!
Am I surprised I loved this one? Not at all. Olivia Dade is such a talented author who makes amazing, loveable, and real characters that you can't help but to love! The relationship between Lauren and Alex made me laugh, cry, and made me wish there were more people like them in this world.
I've never read a book that has made me laugh out loud as much as this one did! There were so many of my favorite tropes in here, including the Only One Bed trope (that apparently Alex and I agree one of our favorites, which also made me laugh btw).
It was steamy, heartfelt, and overall a very believable romance that I think every romance lover should read!
Recommended if you like:
• Only One Bed Trope
• Forced Proximity
• Laugh-Out-Loud Jokes
• Allllll the Tension
• ADHD Rep
• Slow-Burn
• Plus-Size Main Character (we love to see it!)
• Famous Actor X Hired Nanny

This one’s tough. I went back and forth between 2-3-4 stars but ultimately I think it’s a 3 for me.
There’s so many things I love about Olivia Dade’s writing: it funny, the body positivity is A+, the romance is perfectly steamy, and by the end of her books you’re just happy.
This one had a few downfalls for me. The first half of the book was sooooo slow. It took me a long time to get through and I almost gave up a few times. I think some tighter pacing would have helped this book. Because of how slow the book was it took a million years for our protagonists to finally realize their feelings. I also felt like too many tropes were pushed: enemies to lovers, only one bed, “forced proximity”, opposites attract. It felt shoehorned.
Of course I’ll keep reading this author- I’m curious to see if she continues in this world.

I wasn’t excited about this book because I didn’t like the first in the series. But I was assured that this one is better - and it is. The characters were more realistic, and Lauren didn’t hate her body as much as April in the first book. I loved that Lauren isn’t beautiful outside - but it didn’t matter. Alex was charming, and Dade’s clear hatred of the last season of GoT continues to entertain.

I loved Spoiler Alert, so I had high hopes for its follow-up. All the Feels did not disappoint. I loved Lauren, who is so relatable and charming. I appreciated the way that Alex's neurodivergence is depicted through the book, also.
