Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book. All opinions are my own.
Perfect for fans of fanfic, who stan actors, and enjoy occasional cosplay at Cons. Following up from Spoiler Alert, we meet a new cast member of Gate of the Gods. This was an enjoyable read. It didn't hit the mark for me quite as much as the first book did, but it's always fun to revisit a world and it's characters. Filled with some swoony bits and a few delicious tropes.

Absolutely love this ending!

Alex is a charming actor in a mythology-based series akin to GoT who they feel needs a handler after yet another fight. He’s bored, restless, at times reckless, and desirous of human connection. We also find that he has ADHD which guides much of his habits and behaviors. Lauren, the cousin of the director, was an emergency services technician in an ER who burned out and is between jobs with time on her hands. She is described as looking like a small bird, very round with no neck, spindly legs, and a beak-like nose. I don’t appreciate the fat-shaming and constant disparagement of her looks (including from herself), but it does seem a bit of a stretch that someone described this way would win the heart of a gorgeous actor, especially when his first impression of her is that her eyes are the only thing that could be called pretty. However, that’s the beauty of Dade’s books: zaftig women who aren’t defined by their looks who men fall in love with because of who they are and, as a result, find them beautiful.

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Atria Books through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

I love this series so much! All the Feels follows up Spoiler Alert with Alex as our main heartthrob! Alex keeps landing himself in hot water and plays into his 'bad boy" reputation? But is he really such a careless hunk? Lauren, one of the producer's niece's, is on leave from work and is hired to babysit Alex. They both learn so much about each other, how there is more than what meets the eye, and what their outward reputation is. I loved their dialogue and eventual love story so much!

I have been looking forward to the sequel to Spoiler Alert since I finished the book in 2020 especially when I learned it was going to be Alex's book! And y'all! I adored everything about this book from Alex being a human Golden Retriever to Lauren finding her voice and learning to have Big Harpy Energy! It was amazing!

This book has so many great things in it! The ADHD rep in Alex's character was so spot on and I loved being able to see experiences similar to my own show up on the page. Lauren's PTSD from her previous job and the way she tried to make herself invisible broke my heart. And the way her cousin treated her made me so angry! It made me root for the romance between Alex and Lauren even harder so she would have someone see her for the amazing person she was!

The romance was a perfect slow burn and it was *chef's kiss*! It had so many of my favorite romance tropes in it and I was so sad when I ran out of pages. It was so fun seeing the crossovers with the first book and the fanfiction world! I loved this book so much! And I totally need a Big Harpy Energy shirt of my own! I am so sad that there will be no more books planned in this world because I want to see more of these characters!

As the wildly popular but going off the rails Game of Thrones like series Gods of the Gates, its stars are still contractually bond to not give away spoilers and act in accordance with set behavior guidelines. Alexander Woodrow, who stars as Cupid in the series, has a big mouth that often gets him in trouble, and when a bar fight lands him in the tabloids, he's assigned a short, squat minder: Lauren Clegg, the cousin of one of the producers whose no-nonsense attitude and failure to crack a smile gives Alex a new challenge in life. Predictably, they become friends, then romantically involved, in spite of Lauren's unconventional appearance. When she fails to keep Alex in line as promised, she fires herself, sacrificing their relationship so they can split up to get back together.

Incorporating popular fanfiction tropes (#ForcedProximity, #OnlyOneBed, #BeautyAndTheBeast), the novel also goes a bit meta, with references to the protagonists incorporated roleplay and other tropes into their relationship. Most gratifying the sex involves consent and lovemaking that doesn't include penetration the first time, or perfect immediate orgasms.

This companion novel to Spoiler Alert brings back many successful elements: quick, clever dialogue, a down-with-the-patriarchy tone, a body-positive attitude, and lots of non-narrative writing: a text chain with the stars of the hit fantasy television show, fanfiction, press releases, screenplay excerpts, a scene at a fan convention, and emails complete with cross through edits. The cover art is by the same artist as Spoiler Alert, and several characters make an appearance, creating a cohesive feel.

I received an advance reader's review copy of #AllTheFeels from #NetGalley.

Such a cute romantic comedy. Lighthearted and heartwarming. I loved the storyline, the character development! Very well-written and looking forward to reading more from this author.

I loved the first book but couldn’t get into this one. There are quite a few things about it I was enjoying, like the progression between the main characters, Lauren and Alex, from a certain dislike to friendship. But I didn’t feel any romantic chemistry between them and wasn’t really interested in the romance. I also loved both characters separately which just makes this even more of a bummer! Maybe I’ll try the audiobook in the near future and see how I feel about that. I was so excited for this book but forced myself to read it, which is never a good sign.

I really did enjoy this book, and would say my reading is more a 3.5 stars. While I enjoyed the book I did feel like it didn't have the same ooomph of Spoiler Alert. It didn't quite capture my attention, as the first book did. It wasn't until later in the book that I finally felt like the book was capturing my attention.

With that said though I did absolutely adore the story. It was a cute romance that dealt with a lot of important things like body image and neurodivergence. Dade giving us plus sized heroine, and neurodivergent male heros is so important. And for me she does a really great job at it. She give us all a reminder that we all deserve to star in our own Romance Books, and that everyone deserves love.

Oh also Lauren and Alex have some amazing banter, and it was the highlight of their interactions together. They always made me feel giddy inside, with the way they reacted to each other. I am so happy they got a chance to shine through on the page with their personalities.

I absolutely loved this sequel to Spoiler Alert. The characters are lovable and hilarious. And I love the plus size Rep in the book!

Whenever the author is Olivia Dade, this is an auto click for me.

All the Feels is no exception.

The second of the Spoiler Alert series, All the Feels has Cupid meeting his match.
Well, not the actual Cupid, but Alexander who plays him on a top rated TV show.
Alexander has an amazing life, but when his character's story arc has him revisiting demons he's tried to escape from, he needs a handler that won't put up with his crap.
Enter Lauren, an ER tech who's put up with more insanity that Alexander could ever understand. She's honest, straight forward, and has absolutely no interest in getting involved with him.
A big change for a guy who's used to women throwing themselves at his feet.
As they get to know each other, Lauren begins to feel her heart tugging her closer to Alex, but she's unsure if she wants to give in.
As things begin to progress from friends to lovers, Alex's scandal throws things sideways.
Lauren is fired and Alex is still in trouble.
She has to decide if she's ready to protect her heart more than she wants to protect him.

Swoony, sexy, and seductive, Olivia always writes beautifully flawed characters that I want to know better.
The interaction between the two characters is a wonderful slow burn with great banter and honest conversations.
It was the perfect escape and honestly, I wanted to just climb into the story and make Lauren my friend, ASAP.

Wonderful read and I'm thankful to the publisher for an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I read this directly after finishing Spoiler Alert, and I liked this one a little bit better! I thought Lauren and Alex had great chemistry, and I really liked that All the Feels and Spoiler Alert take place in parallel time frames. There were some scenes that felt a little too cringey for my taste, but overall, I enjoyed it!

This book was ridiculously adorable. I really enjoyed the first in this series but this one really stole my heart. I had a bit of a hard time getting into it, but once I did I loved just about every second. This installment had even more fanfic tropes (single. bed. need I say more?) and I’m so glad it did.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

So Olivia Dade is definitely included in the list of authors who own my soul.

All the Feels is the sequel to Spoiler Alert. It follows (generally) the same timeline as Spoiler Alert, so we get a better understanding of some things that were mentioned in the first book.

This book follows Alex and Lauren. Alex is another star of the show Gods of the Gates along with Marcus. After getting into some trouble with the show-runners, Alex is assigned a "minder" to make sure he behaves himself until the show's series finale. This is where Lauren comes in; her cousin works for the show and asks her if she wants the job. She agrees and the shenanigans ensue.

Both Alex and Lauren have troubled pasts and circumstances in their current lives that affect how their relationship develops. However, their banter is perfect and they do eventually balance each other well. Also, the spicy scenes were A++++ (the hot tub scene amirite?). I cannot wait for the third book in this series!

3.25 stars **Review contains spoilers**

I adore Olivia Dade's writing and All the Feels was one of my most highly anticipated reads of the year -- Alex and Lauren captured my heart completely as side characters in the first book in this series, Spoiler Alert. That being said, I ended up having complicated feelings on this one. I found the change in tone in the last quarter of the book to be jarring and it made the subsequent HEA feel really rushed and tonally off. I still enjoyed aspects of the story overall, but likely because I went into it with such high expectations, I can’t say that it delivered quite what I was looking for. There were also some story elements (third act break up, “leaving you for your own good”, etc.) that are personal pet peeves of mine that knock me out of a story, and I had a hard time connecting again at the end for the HEA to land successfully. My personal pet peeves aside, I think most readers will really enjoy this. I continue to absolutely adore the Olivia Dade's humor and the absolutely breathtaking illustrated covers.

I really wanted to love this book but couldn’t. It was okay. I liked the first in the series a lot, but this one didn’t have the same charm and obvious chemistry between the two characters.

Though I didn't love this couple's story as much as I did that of Spoiler Alert, I still very much enjoyed reading this book and I really hope there will be more books in this series.

This book was so fun. In honor of the title, I felt all the feels.

It's funny, raw, hot as hell, heartbreaking, body-positive, and just really great.

I had a really hard time with this book. For the first half of the book, I wanted to DNF it. I really didn't like Alex's character or how he treated/talked to Lauren. He was so obsessed with her body and describing her as a bird TO HER FACE? Like she wants to hear you constantly obsess over the shape of her body?? This went on for so long and I was so over it. But, the book did really pick up in plot halfway through the book and Lauren and Alex really did share some tender moments together. But overall this book dragged on too long and it was hard for me to see what they really saw in each other. I didn't buy their romance or their HEA, and I really didn't care for the story overall when I finished.

Alex and Lauren are a wonderful pairing. I love how they fall into such a good journey together from friends to more. It’s so funny and sweet and romantic, I love their relationship. Would love to read more,

What a cute story! I loved the relationship between Alex and Lauren- especially how it grows and how their perception of each other changes.
