I was so excited to get started on Taylor's story and this book (preview) does not disappoint. It left me more than eager to finish he rest of the book and hopefully get London's story next. From the first four chapters the story sets up Taylor who is a fitness instructor, struggling financially until she meets an injured football star hoping to make it back into the NFL. The two have great chemistry but they strike up a professional relationship which should help them both elevate their careers.

Farrah Rochon did an amazing job in just the first few chapters of letting the reader get to know a new side of Taylor as well as get a mini glimpse into where her friend group left off after The Boyfriend Project.

I need more!! I'm very interested to see where Taylor's story takes her. To see if she can overcome her life and financial issues. I also can't wait to see where things go with Jamar. I like the showcasing of positive female friendships and I appreciate the banter between Taylor and Jamar. I willbe reainging the full book ASAP

Great book helped get me out of a reading slump. If you’re looking for a cute fun read here is your next book.

Taylor Powell is a talented personal trainer who is going through some rough financial times. Jamar Dixon is a former NFL player who wants to train his way back into the NFL and wants Taylor to be his new trainer. However, he wants to keep things a secret, and they soon get accidentally outed as a couple.

I absolutely love love LOVED the friendship between Taylor, London, and Samiah. Sometimes solid friendships are formed super quickly, and I appreciate both the wacky circumstance in which the three of them met, and the way that they decided not to let that get in between them and formed a strong friendship that way. Seeing how they reacted to Taylor's confession in chapter 4 despite only having known each other for three months tells me how much of that ride-or-die kind of friendship is here, and I love seeing that. I love learning about each of the three girls and their pursuits of milestones in their very different careers, and the way they uplift each other and hold each other accountable.

I can already tell that I'm going to love the romance in this book - cynical about love meets sunshine? I love how we see both of their viewpoints and how there's already budding attraction but both of them are determined to avoid it for now.

Thank you to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the preview.

So cute! I will read anything Farrah writes, she has really pined down the ability to write books that are quick reads, but that have a depth to them. Although this was just preview I'm very excited to read the full novel, I actually almost like reading just a preview better than a whole book, I think it creates more excitement.

The Dating Playbook is the second book in The Boyfriend Project series and follows Taylor Powell. Taylor is a tough-as-nails fitness trainer who channeled her military childhood into a fitness business. While she doesn’t have her life together in the same way as her two best friends London and Samiha, she is good at what she does and is desperate to grow her business. Sadly, no matter what she does, she is not able to find the success that she seeks. The mountain of growing debt is becoming an even greater stressor. However, after a pop-up boot camp, things might very well be looking up.

Jamar “Diesel” Dixon, Mr. Hot and Fit to Taylor, was a football star who had everything he wanted and nothing but greatness ahead of him. That is until he was injured and forced to watch his dreams crumble around him. With his sights set on getting back to the NFL, he believes Taylor may be just what the doctor ordered to whip him into shape. The only question is, can he keep his goals in mind and focus on the workouts instead of Taylor?

I received the first four chapters as a preview and I absolutely cannot wait for the book to be released. I stumbled on The Boyfriend Project and loved it. The moment I realized it was a series, I knew it was going to be a must-read. I found the characters incredibly fun relatable. Each of the ladies brings something different to the table yet blend so seamlessly together. I love their friendship, especially the way it started.

Fake Dating is one of my absolute favorite romance tropes and so I'm so excited to read the preview for the Dating Playbook. I really enjoyed the first book, the Boyfriend Project and I have been eagerly awaiting the sequel! I love that Taylor is very independent and very ambitious, but she still wants someone to share her life with. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the book!

Oh these first four chapters have me so excited to read the rest of this book! I’m so glad we get to read Taylor’s story next and I can’t wait to see how it goes.

I’m glad that she was able to be honest with her friends so early on in the plot and I can’t wait to see what she does with her fitness classes/company/media.

I found Farrah Rochon last year in the midst of the pandemic and read The Boyfriend Project with a book club I found in Instagram. I instantly fell in love with them and Farrah Rochon. She is now an auto-buy author for me. I cannot wait for The Dating Playbook to come out! This preview makes me want it even more! 5 stars are never enough!

I read the first four chapters and I am impressed. I haven't read the previous book by the author so I came in with fresh eyes. I don't know how the friendship between Samiah, Taylor and London is going to progress but I am here for it. It was fresh to see new friends bonding at an older age when it becomes difficult and I think it portrayed that struggle well (Taylor pointing out that they didn't realise how difficult it was for her to go back to school). I am already loving the friendship nonetheless

By reading only one chapter and some background about Jamar, I am intrigued to see what complications it will bring. I love a good sports romance and this seems to be different than the usual damsel nerd and sporty strong hero romance. I have a feeling that Sports Hottie Jamar and Strong-willed and bodied Taylor will make an interesting read.

I'm so ready for the The Dating Playbook! Even a preview that lets us see the friendship that we got introduced to in The Boyfriend Project and spend some more time with Taylor. It's also motivating me to work out again because I miss being active.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for providing me this ARC for review!
The Dating Playbook is a really gripping read. I only read a preview of the first four chapters but I'm already deeply ensnared. It gives me similar vibes to The Game (t.v. show, now on Netflix starring Tia Mowry.) Can't wait for this book to come out, will be preordering it right now!

Once again Farrah has proven to be a great author! I throughly enjoyed continuing this series and seeing what next adventure was happening for the girls and getting to know our new MC. I can’t wait to read the whole book. Thank you for the preview!

Thank you for this sampler! I wasn't able to form a strong opinion based on these chapters, but I am definitely intrigued enough to pick up a finished copy.

This is a review of chapters 1-4 ONLY.

3 women become friends after being involved with the same guy. I love the way these three different women support each other. Taylor is a personal trainer who is short on cash, so she starts training an injured football player. Very promising start. I look forward to the rest of the chapters.

Such a tantalizing preview of the much talked about follow up to Farrah Rochon’s The Boyfriend Project!
These first few chapters give a glimpse into Taylor’s world and remind us just why we loved this group of gal pals so much. I cannot wait to lay hands on the full book!
