I would highly recommend this book to anyone at any place along the spectrum in the gun rights/gun control debate. Busse, a former gun company exec, documents the change from advocating for responsible gun ownership to advocating for far right politics and zero gun regulations that both the NRA and gun companies have taken. Busse's book highlights the fact that there are many responsible gun owners who use and love guns, but also believe there is a purpose in limiting access to military weapons and performing background checks. Like most subjects that are within the political realm, we have become increasing polarized on this issue when we listen to politicians and lobbyists, but meanwhile, there are many average citizens who see the nuance and believe in a world with grey and compromise.
