A quick read, interesting concept. I liked the writing style and the fact that it seems to weave current covid events into the story.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and Scribd for an ecopy of this short story single that will be released in July 2021. I am providing my honest review.

Meet Nessa. She is bold, Black, beautiful. She is also unbelievably horny after being cooped up in her apartment during the pandemic. Ouch ! There is an invite for an underground orgy. What will she wear ?

This was a really fun and thoughtful way to start Pride month. Ms. Greenidge has Nessa interact with everything that makes her human from her varied desires and kinks, to her loneliness, to looking at the ironies and hypocrisies of today's queer communities. This is done in clear, humorous and tongue-in-cheek prose.

I really like what Ms. Greenidge was aiming for but I just wished she had pushed the envelope further, deeper, longer, ohhhh lol !

I would really enjoy a book of short stories starring Nessa so that we can understand her complexities, strengths and frailties in a fuller and more meaningful way.
