I went into this with rather high hopes because who doesn't love a villain. well Lady Isra let me down big time, I was actually really disappointed by this book.
I was really disappointed by this as it sounded so much like my cup of tea, but sadly reality didn’t live up to expectation.

I did not like this writing style.
Also she was supposed to be this villain but she had no reason for being the way she was.
I wish there was more backstop.
It was a quick read
I really enjoyed this book! It brought a lot to the table, yet still let you get creative and see some things or interpret them in your own unique way. I loved escaping into this world and losing myself in this story.
I was super excited about this premise, but barely got a few chapters in before I DNF'd it. The writing read more like fanfiction. Even randomly reading later sections of the book showed that the quality of writing did not improve. I would not recommend this unless it went through a re-write and had a lot of editing.
Thankyou to Netgalley and BookGoSocial for providing me with an e-copy of this book in an exchange for an honest review.
This is rich in fantasy/fairy-tale vibes with vivid imagery and lush descriptions that tells the villain's tale. The author has really strong storytelling skills, I loved how it told the tale of love in all its forms.
However the constant repetition of how dark the character is (when I didn't really think she was that dark) got really tiring, and the actual flow of the story was extremely slow.
I may come back to this series but I will give it a break for now. If you like paranormal romance, fairy-tale villains, and descriptive imagery, give this one a go to try for yourself.
Unfortunately dnf’d at 34%.
I got this one for the cover, and saw the rest of the series was on kindle unlimited. However, the writing seemed juvinelle and I felt like the story wasn’t going anywhere.
With vivid descriptions and good characterization this was an okay read. Would have loved more action. Not too fond of an alternate ending. It's like the author didn't know how to end the story. Thanks #netgalley and #BooksGoSocial for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was highly charged with the bizarre. I couldn't quite get into it, but it was an interesting read.
I saw the cover and read the blurb and was so excited to read this.
I was tragically misled.
Without being too cruel this book reads like someone fed thousands of fantasy books into a computer and allowed it to write its own.
The writing has no heart.
The short sentences mixed with repetitive ideas and oddly robotic phrases made reading it so weird.
I forced myself to read up to chapter 5 but tbh it reads like very young self insert fanfiction. Even the author's name Sravenheart sounds like an Tumblr teenager.
Too much description of the witches appearance and how evil she is without actually showing us anything.
If this is the authors second language then I apologise but if it is then the translator didn't do a very good job.
