Unfortunately, I was unable to download ‘Word for Microsoft 365 Reference and Cheat Sheet’ which is too bad as I could have used the tips!
This is an excellent desk reference that’s densely packed with information, all in an at-a-glance layout. The color scheme would work even if printed in black and white, and printing double-sided would make this even more compact.
The descriptions are all clear, direct, and simple. Icons are explained in a visually pleasing way, without having excessive arrows pointing to the toolbar like other guides do.
I recommend this to anyone who uses Word because it covers the most important and time-saving features.
"Word for Microsoft 365 Reference and Cheat Sheet" is a short 4-page reference document detailing the most commonly used functions in Microsoft Word 365. It provides an overview of Word's ribbon interfacing, detailing the function of each tool, incorporating the images that appear in the ribbon in each tab to make a quick reference to them. It also includes short instructions for common activities in Word like creating, opening, closing, and saving documents, cutting, copying, and pasting text; finding and replacing text; using styles and themes, etc. The overview for the tools and the instructions for common activities are detailed per tab. The document also includes a handy list of Word shortcuts in the back for both Windows and Mac interfaces.
The information was clear and easy to read. It would serve as a good reference tool for beginners or basic-level users of Microsoft Word to keep nearby whenever interacting with the program. However, since it is text-based, the instructions are entirely verbal, so it might not be as convenient for visual learners in terms of the instructional aspect of the document. Visual learners, however, can still benefit from the overview of each tool and the list of keyboard shortcuts. This is also a very useful tool for college students to immerse themselves in computer literacy to write papers, so I will be recommending it to my students once the semester starts.
This is a handy, well-organized reference for using Word. The shortcuts are explained throughout and then listed on the last page, making them easy to refer to later. I've been surprised how many co-workers don't know basic shortcuts, so this is recommended!

Word for Microsoft 365 Reference and Cheat Sheet – The Unofficial Cheat Sheet for Microsoft Word By in 30 Minutes
Microsoft Word is my number one “go to” document preparation software, bar none, and Word is loaded on all of my electronic devices: iPad, MacBook, and my iPhone.
Since switching from android to a totally Apple ios platform, I'm experiencing a slower adoption rate transition in the use of my favorite Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) because they don't ubiquitously function transparently on the new processing system. Command key short cuts are one example..
As a result, having this brightly colored, easy to read, comprehensive, four-page MS Word cheat sheet is super handy. It's jam-packed with key information to simplify and streamline your life when writing documents on MS Word. The great hing is that it's thin and light. It can be propped near your computer for fast referrals on almost everything Word related. It will pay for itself a thousand times over!
It covers the most basic of instructions like preparing and saving a Word document, to the more intricate tasks of designing and running a mail merge program. From cutting and pasting sections of text; to under-lining and bolding words; inserting and deleting passages; from changing fonts sizes, styles and colors; this handy MS Word guide sheet has plenty of answers right at your fingertips.

As a long time user of Microsoft Word I was very happy to have the chance to review this Reference and Cheat Sheet. Its purpose is to have a handy reference source at your fingertips when needing a quick answer on how to perform a certain task.
It is mostly laid out in a logical and user friendly way that makes it easy to find what you need. Most tasks are brief and concise, but clearly explain in a language a majority of users can understand, However, I found it somewhat annoying to have both Windows and Mac instructions in the same document. I also felt it could better serve its purpose had it been broken up into two separate documents, Windows and Mac. With the extra space, more tips could be added aimed at the advanced user.
All in all I feel this is a good resource, especially for novice users, and those that need their memory refreshed on certain things. For this reason I gave it four stars and hope to see updated versions in the future. Thank you to NetGalley and i30 Media Corp for an ARC in return for my honest review.
I would like to thank i30 Media Corporation for providing an electronic review copy of their “Word for Microsoft 365 REFERENCE & CHEAT SHEET” for Windows and macOS.
This was a fun item to review since I use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint professionally on a daily basis. My primary goal was to see if I could learn something useful and determine if this is something I could recommend to friends and co-workers. This product is exactly as claimed. It is a very usable and highly summarized four page reference/cheat sheet for Microsoft Word. It accurately covers key functionality and procedures that most users would use.
Although most of this content seems to be already available to a good internet sleuth, there is certainly value to having this information formatted and summarized on paper without having to fumble with a web browser to refer to. For those that would like to see exactly what they get before purchasing, at the time of this writing, all four pages are included as product images on Amazon.
The review of “view options” was very useful. I usually just use draft mode, but I see that focus and read modes could be handy on occasion.
On my wish list: the bibliography tool is incredibly powerful and useful when writing papers. I would certainly suggest including it.
As mentioned before this is good reference material. But for me, since I do not need to refer to content like this frequently, I’m not sure if I would purchase it at full value, but it would certainly be appreciated if included with a reference book, or perhaps purchased at a discount as a set.
I love these 4 page reference and cheat sheets. They are a must have if you use Word at all. I guarantee you will find tips that you didn't know already.
I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this. This is a must have reference I find myself referring to more and more often.
I previously reviewed the Excel one, and even though the Word one is something I didn't think I'd need but found really interesting. Well formatted.
I absolutely love these cheat sheets! They are helpful in learning how to navigate Microsoft Word! Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book! (This review is also on GoodReads.)
Unfortunately I was looking forward to having this as a quick reference but could not download the item
This would be great for getting tech avoidant people started with Word. The icons and bolded subheadings provide an easy to navigate information brochure that is approachable.
This is an excellent, easy-to-use cheat sheet for Microsoft 365. My bookstore has a set of older, but tech enthusiast, clientele who are always asking for things like this so this is something I will definitely recommend to our buyers.
Those of us of a certain age remember when our keyboards had overlays with the WordPerfect commands for the various things we wanted to do. Back in the day, those function keys got a lot of use and those overlays were invaluable for those of us who didn't perform certain operations regularly.
This reference and cheat sheet reminds my of those old overlays. It consists of four pages which list all (or at least a lot) of the keyboard shortcuts available in Word. This isn't an instruction manual--it doesn't tell you what you should paste, why you should paste it or how to paste it into a particular place, but it does tell you that CTRL-V is paste. If you use Word often enough that you want to use keyboard shortcuts but not often enough to have them memorized, taking these four sheets, printing them and then tacking them where you can see them with some used functions highlighted could be a way to transition from the menu driven approach to the keyboard shortcut approach.
I'd like to thank the publisher for making a review copy available via NetGalley.
A big thank you to NetGalley and In 30 Minutes/i30 Media Corp for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this reference sheet. First let me say that I am not a computer person at all,. I am not even sure which Microsoft version I have. I am still trying some of these but so far most work. The thing I would have liked is something that I could print and laminate and have handy. Not a 4 page thing that includes Mac as well. Maybe offer different versions not together in one You could have had 2 pages for Mac and 2 pages for not Mac. I am rambling. 3 stars.
The publisher has put together a well-designed set of reference tools for MS Word 365 covering the basic needs for most daily word processing activities. It does not offer details on more complex activities such as writing chapters or generating an index. This long time user of MS Word (since 1983/1984), does appreciate the detail included in these four pages of notes.
I have two concerns. First, MS Word 365 is intentionally a work in progress, designed to be upgraded on a regular basis as updates are added. This Cheat Sheet has no way of being updated as the program grows. My second concern comes from the fact that the pamphlet is written for both Windows and Mac versions of the program - whichever version the reader is using includes wasted space. In addition, the focus on Windows and Mac means that details related to the Android and the on-line versions of MS Word 365 are omitted. Perhaps the publisher should add a web page that can grow and supplement the cheat sheet as the program grows. This addition would allow the author to address both issues - providing for program changes in the future and for alternate versions of the program existing in other environments (whether in a different OS or as offered on-line).
Given the usefulness of the Word for Microsoft 365 Reference and Cheat Sheet and my two concerns, I give this item four stars
