No Hiding in Boise is told in the aftermath of a horrific shooting. The author provides deep analysis into several points of view, all centering on the shooting. The author created a story that is often horrifying but also highlight adaptive aspects of human nature. Mental health awareness is a clear theme, perfect timing with Mental Health Awareness Month coming to a close in just a few days. I don’t think this book is for everyone due to it’s violent central event, but it is well done.

Though I could see the 'twist' coming from a mile away, I wasn't mad about it. Incredibly well written and well rounded characters. I won't be surprised at all if this one blows up. I highly encourage picking it up.
