This was a well written and plotted story that didn’t appeal to me due to the gore. I think if you are a Sherlock Holmes fan who doesn’t mind graphic anatomical details about the murder victims and how they were killed, this book is for you. Story Rating 3.5/5
Audiobook Narrator: Steve West did an excellent job with the male voices; I love his accent. The female voices were not as well done and I think that had to do with his vocal pitch when voicing/performing the female characters. Narration Rating: 4/5

The story itself was great, but I don't feel like the main character had much of an individual voice. It was like someone was telling a story, not experiencing the events happening.
I also am unsure why this is called The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes, when the story is told from the perspective of Watsons son. However I have not read the other books, so maybe I'm just missing something.
Well written and enjoyable story overall.
The narrator was fine, but I found it hard to keep track of who was speaking and to whom.

Thanks Macmillan Audio for a copy to listen to and I voluntarily left a review!
Audiobooks are like listening to a movie and West made this a fun listen. The dialect and cockney accents were fun, and definitely helped to prolong my reading pleasure.
