DNF - I made it through chapter 12, roughly a third of the audiobook, before giving up. The descriptions of the dysfunction experienced by the lead character was so graphic and disturbing that I could not take one more minute of the book.

This book is dark and gripping and profoundly interesting. Sexual power, need, jealousy, many themes that will stay with you. The narration by Emma Roberts is excellent. This is an exceptionally well-written work that could be part of any course or conversation about gender or emotional violence.
