I'm very iffy on this title, because I love chocolate but maybe I don't love books that surround chocolate? The fairy tale elements were not appealing to me at all, and the rivalry between the chocolate shop and the patisserie was just silly. A chocolate shop and a bakery can easily co-exist. They're not the same thing, and they do not cater to the same people. I love the hard-to-get plot device, but it can get old if it drags on too long and I felt like it did in this case. I did love the descriptions of the chocolate and other confections! Don't read this book if you're trying to diet even a little bit, because you'll just be starving the whole time!

I didn't request this. I have no idea how this book ended up on my shelf.

Loved this lovely book, loved the romance and the light nature of it all. Such a good story.
