This steamy romance had me not putting it down until the final page!
This book had everything I could won’t to make my late night reading very well worth it:
steamy attraction and sexy times, secrets and relationship angst, and lastly a kick butt duo that can do it on their own, but know it’s so much better together.
I’m a sucker for hot rocker who is all in for his industry equal gf! If you are too- you need to get your hands on this book!
I can’t recommend this debut rockstar romance enough!
All the Best Nights by Hanna Earnest was released August 24th, 2021.

This book is the debut offering from this author and I really liked it. There was a lot of good stuff in here. I loved Bran and Nelle. They were complex and easy to invest in. The story was modern, timely and felt genuine. I thought this romance was cute, sweet, emotional, hot and filled with heart. I have to say that as much as I loved these two as individual characters and truly liked them as a couple; I found their chemistry somewhat lackluster. Maybe that was me or maybe it was because of how their story unfolded. I'm not completely sure. Either way, it was still a very good read.
Oh so good. Full of passion. I was so in love with them. So young and so fresh of giving and taking.
Bran and Nelle are singers. Both famos and both are attractive to each other. But they are also so busy that they can’t meet in one year. And they do everything and more in one night. It is up to them to keep it a secret.
I liked the book so much and I felt so rude that I hadn’t read it yet. But it was a really moving read, like I was reading a thriller. I almost shivered for them. So many emotions.
Thanks to Netgalley and Carina press for an arc in echange of an honest review.
All the Best Nights was my first experience reading Ms. Earnest's work. I loved the blurb and couldn't wait to start reading it but I found myself putting it down and picking it back up and putting it down and so on and so on. I read all the glowing reviews so I assumed it was me which I'm sure it is! It's not that I didn't like the writing or the storyline, I just had a difficult time connecting with the characters for some reason. I didn't feel that instant chemistry that everyone else seemed to feel even though I did like the whole "secret marriage" thing. Again, I'm sure it's just me--maybe because I was experiencing a book hangover from my previous read so nothing would probably hold my interest when I was still so caught up in those characters. Having said all of this, I still think Ms. Earnest has a good writing style and I would definitely give her another try. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
If you like steamy books, this has it! I read the blurb on Netgalley and decided to give it a go! Isn't the cover pretty??
The story was interesting as it showed off Bran and Nelle living under the spotlight in the music industry and they want to keep their relationship a secret. At first it seemed like the relationship was going to work but as the story went on I felt like Bran and Nelle were not going to make it? So much pressure from being the spotlight can tear a relationship a bit. I think this shows that it can be hard. Heck any relationships can be hard, you have to want it and put work into it. Will Bran and Nelle get their happy ever after? I felt many emotions while reading this book - I laughed at the playful banter, I gasp at the sexy steamy moments, and I felt sadness for the two regarding to what they had to go through. The story packs an emotional punch. It kept me wanting to know what was going to happen with Bran.
If you’re looking for an angsty and steamy rock star romance, then this book is for you. I am glad I decided to read this.

I know I’m very much in the minority here and I expect the glow of fire and pitchforks to become visible any moment now.
I’d had this book for a good two maybe even three weeks and even though I’m a book a day kinda gal I was still only sitting at the 30% mark, it was a case of wanting to respect the authors hard work that pushed me to finish “All the best nights”
While the story did improve I unfortunately struggled to connect with either the H or h, I love a good romance, I love getting swept up in the story so intensely that you look up from your kindle to see it’s now 3am, the kids are asleep on your good cream rug covered in the chocolate they had for dinner while the dogs happy as Larry standing in the middle of the kitchen table feasting on lasagna.
Something I struggled with were the inconsistencies that make the story hard to get lost in as you’re pulled from your imaginary tale with thoughts solely on the details that change, for example the heroines hair jumps from midnight black to platinum then back to the darkest of ebony etc. all within the first 20% of the book. I know this might seem like I’m nitpicking and I may well be however for me personally when I’m pulled in and out of a story I lose all that momentum that’s built up and it’s almost as if I’m made to go back and start again
Overall I think it’s an amazing effort for a first time author, I would definitely read any new work from Hanna as I believe she has enormous potential and I find it especially exciting to have the opportunity to read through new material and see firsthand the growth and maturity she’ll have as an author.
A few favourites;
“You know what it’s like—everyone thinks it’s just one touch, their touch, but it’s more than just them. And it’s your features that are worn away.”
“I really thought you’d be different.” “Yeah?” He spun his own stool to get his knees out of her way, make it easier for her to go. “But you’re just a talented dickhead.”
“The way Bran Kelly looked sitting across from her, out-smoldering the actual fire in the room.”
“I don’t want anything from Antonella Georgopoulos, except her body.”
“Your turn.”
“Bran Kelly can keep all his shit—just let me have that d.”
A grin spread across Bran’s face. “I think we nailed this.” He handed the paper to Tomi. “What the fuck is this?” “Our prenup.”
Imagine marrying your crush and not being able to tell anyone? Unfortunately, Nelle has done just that; Bran Kelley has been her crush since she was a teenager.
The public details of life as a celebrity and wanting something for themselves. To trust they have a secret no one knows is empowering and scary. What if someone finds out? I just wanted to jump in the book and hug them.
Wanting to make a change only to have your people ask, “Do you have clearance for that?” Nelle was, “Never foolish. It was not part of her brand” Is Bran using her for publicity?
Bran has been in a songwriting slump for about a year. Will she be his muse? He has lots of secrets. Can he open his heart to her?
First, this book does not read like a debut, so congratulations to the author on a fine story. She has created complex characters with layers and hit on all my emotions. I am looking for more great books from this author.
Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Review posted to Barnes and Noble as well.
All the Best Nights by Hanna Earnest is a lovely romantic read that is sure to pull at your heartstrings. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable, with dialog that crackles and steamy romantic scenes sure to leave the reader wanting more. All the Best Nights is sure to send the reader on an emotional roller coaster.
Sometimes I take a chance on a new author and it is serendipity and that’s how I feel about Hanna Earnest. I picked up this book to read because the synopsis caught my eye. An indie rock star and a pop princess, one night or maybe it’s more? Catnip! That’s exactly what it was, I had to read this book, I had to see how this relationship would play out, I had to know everything and let me tell you, Hanna Earnest wrote a raw, emotional, touching story that also included some humor to even it out. Quite frankly, I want to stop writing this review and go back and read All the Best Nights again better yet go back in time so I can read it again for the first time.
Nelle is a powerhouse; smart, savvy, and talented above all, but she’s also a “brand.” Nelle craves not having to answer to everyone, being able to make her own decisions about everything, and most of all not having her private life splashed across news outlets and social media every time she turns around. She knows she signed up for this, she’s grateful for the opportunities it has brought her but she wants something just for her, something no one can take from her and one daring night she decides what she wants Bran Kelly.
After his rock band breaks up for good, Bran Kelly released an album that the press called a mix of indie rock, folk, and pop. Several breakout songs led to a tour, but now off tour, dealing with a personal tragedy, and unable to write songs for the next album that is already late, Bran feel defeated. When it turns out he’s in the same city as Nelle it seems like kismet, but his mood almost has the evening ending early. He quickly gets his act together and he and Nelle make a pact to have something just for them, something no one else knows about, something they will never share with the press and while he hopes it will help him out of his writing slump that isn’t the case, but one thing is for certain the nights he gets with Nelle are the only thing keeping him going.
I loved these two, so alike but also so different. It was never said, but I’m going to guess there was about a decade between their ages since Nelle had Bran’s posters on her childhood bedroom walls. Her career was on a swift rise and she was determined to not let anyone make her feel small or less than because she was a woman and that included Bran. I liked that she was forceful but at times I also felt like she was kicking Bran when he was down, granted he wasn’t the best about opening up, about sharing how and what he was feeling and I really do thing she had his best interest at heart but man, sometimes it was just brutal. I also think Bran didn’t realize how hard it was for women in his business, he did a lot of growing in that respect during this book because Nelle educated him and he began to understand so much about her as she did. Bran was broken, he was grieving his grandmother’s death, his father being an absolute d*ck, missing his best friends who were also his ex-band mates, and honestly I think he was flat out worn out on life. He only really came alive when he was with Nelle and having to keep their relationship a secret even from his best friends was hard on him as well.
I loved the way this author wove so many intricate pieces of their relationship and feelings in this story and unveiled them slowly throughout. I often felt like this book was a treasure map and in order for me to reach the treasure I had to collect the charms along the way to get to the satisfying ending. While I would have loved an epilogue this book ended like it should have with Nelle getting everything she worked for and deserved both personally and professionally.
If this is what Hanna Earnest is capable of in her debut novel, I can’t wait to see what she does next. All The Best Nights packed an emotional punch, I could not put it down and I was so thankful this was a Carina story as I knew they have a guaranteed happy ending because at times I was scared that wasn’t going to happen. Knowing it would, kept me going, but the way this author spun this story kept me on the edge of my seat and that was what made this story one of my favorites of 2021.
Rockstar romance isn’t a trope I generally gravitate to, but the cover of this one caught my eye. I think overall it was a good read.
Indie rocker Bran is fresh off tour and has a new album due to his label any day now. He has no inspiration, but when he goes on a long delayed date with pop star Nelle, he starts to hear lyrics again. They bond over their shared misery of fame, feeling like they don’t own themselves, when they decide to take a big risk and do something just for the two of them.
It was an angsty and steamy look at fame, how it affects relationships and the toll it has on one’s personal life.
I really felt for Bran, he was a bit broken and in a bad headspace. I wanted to give him a hug so bad. Nelle did not put up with any bullshit, which I respected but at the same time felt like she was unnecessarily harsh with him. He made me sad and the way she treated him made me sad too. I don’t think that was the intention of this book but I felt a little bummed out reading it.
There were also sometimes where I felt like I was missing a piece of the puzzle, things would be alluded to but not really manifest until later in the story so I felt like I was a step behind.
Overall though an enjoyable read if you’re looking for an angsty and steamy rock star romance!
4 1/2 Stars for the heart-wrenching story!
What a great start for this new author! This book gave me all sorts of emotions ... I laughed, I cried, I was stumped and I definitely swooned. Nelle inspired me by her confidence and knowing exactly where she wanted her life to go. Bran was so broken ... I just wanted to give him a big hug. Deep down he was insecure and so used to people taking advantage of him that the circle of people he trusted was very small. I wanted to give his dad a swift kick where the sun dosen't shine ... what parent treats their child like that? And the steamy scenes were very ... STEAMY!
Nelle has been in love with Bran since she was a teenager and she had his posters on her wall. Now she's a singer / songwriter ... just like him. She gathers her courage and takes a chance at an awards show to slip him a note to meet. Bran has had his eye on the beautiful pop star ... so why not meet her. Bran and Nelle come up with a scheme to keep a huge secret from the everyone ... something just for them. They get married and have one night together with no one finding out about it. But Bran knows that one night will never be enough, so he sets out to earn Nelle's trust before he asks for more.

Insecurities abound in, All the Best Nights. So much so that I couldn't finish the book, I left of at chapter 18 a little less than two thirds of the way through. I guess I was hoping for more a a rock band kind of romance story. Instead I got a "poor me, everyone only gets close to me for what they can get". That includes both Nelle and Bran.
This is rockstar meets manifestation queen and I am HERE. FOR. IT.
It is so dang hot and funny and sweet and sexy and ughhhhh the angsttttttt. If I could write a blurb for the front cover, it would be “PUT IT IN MY VEINSSSSSS”
This is a ballad to books about love and I adore it.
This is the first book I have read by Hanna Earnest. It tells the story of Bran and Nelle, two music stars and both exceptional songwriters. For personal reasons, they have decided to have a secret relationship and share it with no one to make sure they have something for only themselves in a world where the media takes everything from celebrities. I enjoyed this book and the somewhat unusual story, but I wasn't a fan of how little interaction there was between Bran and Nelle for much of the book. That said, it was a good read and I give it a strong 4 stars. Thanks NetGalley for an advanced copy for an honest review.
This is a great book. The two main characters Brandon and Nellie are singers. They decided to secretly marry to have something that is private just theirs. Through the secret marriage they hook up and try to not get caught. But eventually their marriage comes out once they declare their love.
I’m still sniffling as I write this review, twelve hours after first starting to read the book (please deduct seven hours for sleeping and two hours for parenting). This book is a multilayered splendor of romance, and I think my heart might burst trying to contain them all.
Nelle is indomitable. She sticks up for herself and she works for what she wants and she calls bullshit when she sees it. Bran is the hottest of messes and I would love nothing more than to take him home and watch him hum through life in his own little world. Bran’s grief feels so real. Nelle’s fears and pain, as well. I’m not a fan of conflict that hinges on things unsaid, and this book is a masterful dance of all the ways words can be said and heard in entirely different ways. And while I’m not a music lover and probably missed all the Easter eggs hidden in the songs, I certainly saw and loved each little wink to Romancelandia. The dialog crackles, the sex made me shriek out loud, and I wish I could be in the kitchen for Thanksgiving as everyone dances around the Infamous Island.
