Enjoyed all of the stories in this anthology. Favourite stories were the first and last between the three.
Such a fun read! Loved this one!
Many thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for my ARC.
There are three wonderful stories wrapped up in Kissing Under the Mistletoe and they all are lovely. I was turning the pages fast and lost in this Historical Christmas Romance.
No Readers should miss this bundle. Highly Recommend it to all readers.
A great holiday anthology filled with stories that are absolutely amazing. Each author positively shines and their stories are far too short since you want the story to continue.
I'm a newfound lover of historical romance, and I loved all 3 of the novellas in this collection! Highly recommend for a great holiday read.
I received a digital arc though all thoughts are my own.
This was a sweet bind up of three different romances and I love that they were mainly centered around Christmastime.
I enjoyed each of them as well as how sweet the couples were to each other eventually. It would be interesting to read other books in which these characters might have a cameo.
Looking forward to reading more by these authors.
Trigger warnings: death of family, accidental shooting
Like all anthologies, this one was uneven for me. I enjoyed the Anna Bennett the best. They were all well written but the short format made everything seem rushed and too insta lovey for me.
Oh my goodness, what a delightful novella! Great Scot! continues the beloved Wild Wicked Highlanders series, and it's just as charming as ever. Brennan Andrews and Jane Bansil, cousins to the MacTaggert brothers and Amelia-Rose MacTaggert, find unexpected love during the MacTaggert's Christmas holiday season. Jane is a spinster companion, and Brennan is a widower, and neither of them were looking for love. But as they reach for each other, they realize that life still has plenty of surprises in store. This is a beautiful love story that warmed my heart!
The Christmas spirit is alive and well in Dewberry Hollow, where Isabella and Gate's enduring connection is nothing short of adorable. Isabella is cautious due to past hurt, but Gate sees a special woman in her unlike any other. Despite learning he is not the heir to the dukedom, Gate is determined to help his grandfather complete his life, finding purpose and love in the process.
My Mistletoe Beau starts with quite a surprise - a male strip tease! Jack and Eva's fake engagement may have originated from an attempt at theft, but their relationship only gets better from there. Their growth and development as they learn from each other is what makes this romance truly special. Overall, this novella is a heartwarming read that I highly recommend.
Three sweet novellas that will keep the reader gripped in the story until the very end. I really enjoy novellas around Christmastime and if you are looking for some fun reads this is it!
Really loved this book!
All the stories were entertaining and enjoyable.
It was the perfect holiday escape.
If you love Regency romance, this collection is not to be missed!
I love anthologies, because I feel like I can get quick reading enjoyment. All of these stories are from authors that I’ve read before, so I was excited to have the opportunity to read this anthology. They are all cute quick stories that made me happy and were easy to read. If you were looking for an anthology that will give you enjoyment this is it.
ACK! I can't believe I forgot to give feedback. Yes to this compilation! It's a compilation of 3 novellas from 3 lovely historical romance authors - that give an awesome swoon-worthy dose of love and romance during the holiday season. They're quick to read, especially during the hub bub of the holidays. You've got the spinster story (Love spinster tropes), the refusal to fall in love, especially with a certain someone one's chemistry with cannot be denied, and then finally a deception trope. All satisfying, all fun, and all swoony.
I don't do a lot of anthologies but when the holiday's come I am always in the mood for a good romance series. These stories really gave me the holiday spirit and I loved the romantic pairings. I found this anthology because of Amelia Grey's newsletter and I enjoy her short fiction as much as her shot fiction.
I love reading seasonal books during the holidays. What’s even better is a compilation of some of my favorite historical authors all contributing.
This was a nice break from the holiday rush. Perfect way to step back and escape reality for a bit.
This was an entertaining set of Christmas novellas. While all three didn't capture me in the same way, each was a delight and perfect for an afternoon of reading underneath the Christmas tree.
Suzanne Enoch's Great Scot returns us to the world of the MacTaggerts. An architect and a woman who has defied her parents, leaving her mostly on her own, find an instant attraction. This one was sweet and I loved the setting in the highlands.
Amelia Grey's Christmas at Dewberry Hollow features the owner of an Inn and a Duke's grandson who is visiting to fulfill his grandfather's promise to his late wife. The two meet after she has accidentally shot a man and, even though they start off on rough footing, they find more and more that they don't want to be separated once he leaves the Inn.
I found Anna Bennett's My Mistletoe Beau to be the best of the three. These two come up with a fake relationship scheme when he catchers her in his bedroom trying to steal back her father's watch that he won at gaming. The tension in this book was great and I found this story tough to put down.
Overall, this was a wonderful read for this time of year. I would average these three out to around a 3.5 stars. If you enjoy historical romance and want to catch up with the worlds these authors live in for a short time, then you should pick this one up. It is sure to put you in the perfect holiday mood.
Did not finish. Not my cup of tea. I felt at a disadvantage because I hadn't read some of the earlier entries by one of the authors and had no idea who anyone was or what was going on. I read some of each story but couldn't finish any of them. They all felt a little silly and skippable.
This was an enjoyable holiday read of three novellas. Each was short and sweet, although I did have my favorite of the three based on the author's writing style. I do not read novellas often, so I admit the stories felt a little too simple, wooden, or rushed, but I enjoyed the short time to have a feel good Christmas story for the holidays.
SO charming! It felt like a plate of Christmas cookies. The Enoch one was the only one I could tell was connected to another series, and I liked it enough that I’ll probably go back and read the rest.
Action packed, emotional roller-coaster set of adventures filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and thrilling turns. Each one an edge of your seat exciting adventure from beginning to end that was so hard to put down.
Cute novellas to get you into the holiday spirit! If you're already a fan of these authors, I say to give this a whirl. In general, I never like novellas as much as novels but I do enjoy a quick holiday story which is why I read this.
Amelia's story was my favorite, followed by Suzanne. You won't get a full plot and development but this is a quick and easy read, perfect for holiday travels!
