I adore short story collections or in this case three novellas in one. Had never read any of these authors before and will look for their previous work. Well done. Christmas theme but the overall is romance, love. Easy to recommend.

One book with stories from three great authors! I usually don’t read books like this because I feel like the stories are too short to get into, but I decided to give it a chance because of the author’s and I was not disappointed! Each story jumps right in and the characters are great!

Great Scot - 3 stars
When you're reading a novella, the instalove is going to be a given, but this is the only novella that I've read the rest of the series for so I think it was pretty disappointing that there was no buildup or tension between the characters.

Christmas at Dewberry Hollow - 2 stars
I don't think that either of these characters had much of a personality. Isabelle was too perfect, and I disliked how much of a martyr she made herself.

My Mistletoe Beau - 2 stars
The premise of this one is the most fun, a pretend relationship set at Christmas, but I didn't like how the heroine was the only one allowed to have emotions, and that made the groveling/coming back together fall flat for me, because I didn't see the hero do anything wrong.

I adore Suzanne Enoch, so I was excited to read this anthology. I enjoyed all three stories, but Great Scot was indeed my favorite. For me, it was a positive that the stories weren't super Christmas-y, but that might be a negative for some readers of holiday HR.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

This book contained three stories by different authors set during the holidays!! Cute historical romances full of humor! I laughed out loud a lot while reading! It’s hard to pick a favorite since they all had parts I loved! New to me authors so I’ll be sure and check out their other stories!!! Definitely recommend if you are a fan of historical romances!!

Good Christmas story!

Description
From the Scottish highlands, to the bustle and tussle of London, to a hotel on the outskirts of town, three unforgettable authors bring the joy of Christmas romance in Kissing Under the Mistletoe.

Great Scot! by Suzanne Enoch
Miss Jane Bansil knows she will never have a fairy-tale moment. Well past the marriageable age, she’s taken a position as a companion and is now stuck in Scotland for Christmas, alone even in the middle of the boisterous MacTaggert family. But when Brennan Andrews, an architect and cousin to the MacTaggerts, arrives to draw up plans for a new family home, Jane must decide if she will take a chance at a happily-ever-after, or settle into her small, safe life for good.

Christmas at Dewberry Hollow by Amelia Grey
Miss Isabelle Reed has no plans to ever fall in love. She has a perfectly acceptable life with her mother at the Dewberry Hollow Inn, thank you very much. But when Gate, the Duke of Notsgrave’s grandson, appears at Dewberry Hollow searching for a carving on a tree, Isabelle cannot help but get involved. But Gate’s charm and their instant attraction makes Isabelle question if she’s willing to take her chance at love once again.

My Mistletoe Beau by Anna Bennett
Miss Eva Tiding is determined to cheer her widowed father with the perfect Christmas gift. Even if it means breaking into the home of the rakish Earl of Frostbough who swindled Papa out of his pocket watch. But when the earl, Jack Hardwick, catches her in the act, they strike a deal: she’ll

I really enjoyed this historical holiday anthology, so much so that I gave away a physical copy for my podcast's holiday special, The 12 Days of Boobsmas. Such a great line-up of authors!

I ordinarily don't care for Anthologies, because the stories are so short. But I have read the first two authors' stories, so gave it a read. I read an ARC from the publisher and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Great Scot! the first story, by Suzanne Enoch is about a MacTaggart cousin, a widower, who has not felt anything since losing his bride, until he gazes upon Miss Jane Bansil, who has given up hope of ever having a family of her own and has resigned herself to being a paid companion the rest of her life. A short lovely courtship, with lots of humor. The only negative, is that if someone had not read The Wild Wicked Highlanders series, they would be lost among all the characters. I read them, and plan to read them again, but I also didn't remember all their stories.

Christmas at Dewberry Hollow by Amelia Grey has a young lord, Gate, the Duke of Notsgrave’s grandson, not the heir, realizing that his life has been frivolous, and he now has a the opportunity to do something worthwhile for his grandfather. In doing so, he comes to meet Miss Isabelle Reed, who is perfectly happy with her life with her mother, running the Dewberry Hollow Inn. She had been terribly hurt when a man her mother loved, made promises he didn't keep, and she never wants to put herself in the position to be hurt again. But they both find surprisingly, someone to cherish. Rich descriptions and lovely characters.

My Mistletoe Beau by Anna Bennett is the third novella. Miss Eva Tiding is determined to cheer her father up by recovering his watch that he lost to the Earl of Frostbough, Jack Hardwick, in a card game. Eva is convinced that he cheated, so sneaks into his bachelor quarters, but gets caught. He offers her an out- fake a courtship to make his grandmother happy. I was very disappointed in Eva, as once she found out why Jack was the way his was and how her parents were involved, she didn't seem to have much empathy or willing to forgive his one outburst.

Great Scott, by Suzanne Enoch. What a sweet and sentimental love story. I was truly pulled into the story just because the writer wrote a love story about and older couple who were instantly attracted to each other. Jane and Brendan’s courtship was one were any woman would love to be apart of. The story focused on a woman who took charge of her life and happiness. Jane reaching out to Brennan was the best part. Brennan did a wonderful job at not pushing Jane on her feelings and concentrated on making her happy and showing all the joy that’s around her.

Christmas at Dewberry Hallow, by Amelia Grey. This story started with a quick intense pace. Isabelle quickly meet and the love sparks begin. The story was very cute. I liked the happily ever after ending.

My Mistletoe Beau, by Anna Bennett. Uhhh yes. I loved the cute almost comical love story with Eva and Jack. I loved how the writer moved the story to were the readers knew ahead of time that the two would be together. The only part to that is the readers didn’t know ow Eva and Jack would get there. The dialogue among the characters was most interesting. I think that most of the entertainment came from Eva and Jack. The constant verbal sparring was humorous. The two moved through the story very comfortably. The pretend courtship was written very well. The book was easy to read. The characters themselves were fun to read.

A great trilogy of novels for all historical romance lovers out there.
I loved the holiday theme running through the novellas the characters and just the overall feel good vibes your get from each story. I especially loved catching up with the MacTaggerts in Great Scot by Suzanne Enoch.
A must read for historical romance readers looking for something short and sweet!

this was so cute! I loved this book so much! I loved the story by Suzanne Enoch so much! It was my favorite out of the three! It was so wholesome and so sweet! I loved the love interests and I loved their romance! Even though it seemed to happen really fast, it was still so sweet! I loved all three stories though, and I always tend to find myself in this situation with short story collections, I always find they're too short, I get so absorbed in the story that I find that I get sad when the story ends and there's so like solid conclusion. It isn't that big of an issue that I mark off from the book, that's just a personal problem hahah! I for sure highly recommend you check this book out though because the stories are so fun and sweet and so full of Christmas spirit! It made me so happy!

Great Scot by Suzanne Enoch

Jane Bansil was supposed to marry into the MacTaggert family, but he fell in love with her cousin. After being disowned by her family, she becomes a companion to Lady Aldriss. The entire family has moved to Scotland for Christmas, and Jane meets another Scotsman who is cousin to the MacTaggerts. Brennan Andrews is enamoured with Jane as soon as he meets her. Will Jane want to be with him, or will she continue as Lady Aldriss’s companion and get to travel the world?

Christmas at Dewberry Hollow by Amelia Grey

Isabelle Reed is a crack shot with her rifle. When she shoots a man, she is immediately sorry and will do what she can to make amends. John Gatestone (Gate) is looking for a carving in a tree. He has promised his grandfather he would find the carving so his grandfather can pay homage to his late wife. Gate gatecrashes (pardon the pun) his way into the life of Dewberry Hollow Inn, and he and Isabelle find a connection. Will Gate be able to return to his London life? Or will he take the step and be with Isabelle for life?

My Mistletoe Beau by Anna Bennett

Eva Tidings is determined to retrieve the watch her father gambled away. All she has to do is to break into the Earl’s apartment, look for it and leave quickly. The Earl of Frostbrough catches her in the act. Eva says she will pay for the watch, but the Earl has another payment method in mind. He wants her to act as his love interest for a few weeks, then accept his proposal of marriage. Eva can back out of the engagement as part of the agreement. How will each react to the reasons for each agreeing to the deal? Can they come to an accord and make the match work?

These three stories were a welcome read just about Christmas time. The heroines were strong women who knew their mind. Their actions were also becoming of who they were in those times. Isabelle in particular is probably more ‘modern’ using the rifle, but it suits her character. The stories were a delight to read, and I would recommend them to historical lovers.

This was a cute collection of three regency romance novellas.💕

Given that these are novellas, each one is a quick read📖. There’s an instant attraction in each book (even if they wish to deny it at first), and due to the format, all issues are dealt with quite quickly. But I’m reading these for their dopamine hit, and they definitely did the trick!🥰

If you enjoy reading romance, each of these is short, sweet, and steamy!🔥

📚Great Scot (by Suzanne Enoch)
Did someone say sexy highlander men in kilts?? Jane is working as a quasi-companion in Scotland. But that’s just it - she’s not really needed there and is considering going back to London to find a new position. But there’s something about the architect working on the manor…😉

📚Christmas at Dewberry Hollow (by Amelia Grey)
Isabelle is content at the inn she helps her mum run. Except, one day, Gate comes along. He’s helping his grandfather with a quest, and she can’t help being drawn in to help. I love that Isabelle and Gate are both pretty sassy to each other!💁🏼‍♀️ I also love how Gate doesn’t want to change her, but likes her unconventional ways.

📚My Mistletoe Beau (by Anna Bennett)
An unconventional romance that begins with Eva breaking into the Earl’s home to steal back her dad’s pocket watch. He won’t let her off the hook, but proposes they pretend to court, and he will give the watch back. The fake relationship trope is one of my favs, and this didn’t disappoint!💕

Three great historical romance authors come together this holiday season to take us back in time to enjoy the magic of the holidays in historic Scotland with three stories of love and mischief. I picked up this novel primarily for the novella by Suzanne Enoch, but the other two are great as well and I am glad I read all three stories. All of the stories were wonderful in their own right and I can say that the magic and passion in each were interesting. Great Scot was certainly my favorite as we got hints of the MacTaggerts and the love that they found with their mates in the previous stories in the series, as well as watching them return to their clan seat in Scotland and finally seeing their mother return home for the first time in decades. Jane’s love story as she found love with Brennan when he was pulled in to help with the keep upgrades, was fun and sweet, as they were both just that little bit awkward and unsure of themselves despite the chemistry and attraction they shared. She had the bravery to risk her future and heart on a man that sparked emotions in her she'd never felt before but that made her the happiest she had ever felt. Brennan knew immediately that Jane was the one that could finally fulfill all the dreams he had for his own happiness and he worked hard to convince her that they were meant to be. Christmas At Dewberry Hollow is the story of John who is trying to fulfill his grandfather’s dying promise to his wife and in doing so John meets Isabelle and the two of them work together to reach that goal. The more time they spend together though, the more they lose their hearts to one another and soon both of them are under the spell of holiday love and it became obvious that to be happy in the future they have to be brave enough to be together. My Mistletoe Beau finds Eva in a desperate bid to cheer up her father and in doing so she gets in trouble with Jack, the Earl that now holds her future in his hands. Soon Jack and Eva are wrapped up in one another and the passion that they share is heated and amazingly hilarious at times as their witty repartee and sarcastic comments kept me laughing. No denying these two were made for one another and they just needed the magic of the holidays to find one another. These three novels each had their own personalities and level of passion, but it’s safe to say that together they supplied laughter, tears, love, and the sweetness of lovers losing their hearts during the holidays. I was thrilled to have the chance to read all three of these novellas combined into one magic book and enjoyed every moment of the reading experience.

Kissing Under the Mistletoe is a collection of three sweet Christmas romance reads. The stories are short enough to finish in one sitting and the romances are adorable

I enjoyed this anthology a lot, thought it was very holiday-centric. The first novella felt like I was missing a lot of the story by not having read the books leading up to it. The other two I was able to jump in.

Christmas at Dewberry Hollow was my favorite of the three, though all the novellas were good, with very different plots.

I would love to read more by all of these authors, and would recommend this anthology if you're looking for something to get you in the holiday spirit!

This book didn't work for me. I was looking forward to reading this Christmas anthology, but I didn't find much Christmas in any of the stories. Yes, they all took place during the Christmas season, but that is all you get. The stories themselves were very slow and I couldn't get into any of them.

This was definitely cute, and something to quick to read during the holidays. I haven’t read anything by the author Amelia but I was pleasantly surprised by her writing. I definitely recommend this.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity.

Kissing Under The Mistletoe is an anthology of three highlander stories set during December. Each story is a strong choice for holiday reading.

Kissing Under The Mistletoe is an anthology of three novellas set during the month of December. Each story involves a female character who has been hurt before and feels that their chance for love has passed. The stories are sweet and each female character does find their happily every after. It was easy to get lost in their stories.

The first story is Great Scot by Suzanne Enoch. It involves 33 year old Jane who is a traveling companion and has found herself at Aldiss Park in Scotland for the holiday season. She is used to staying out of the way keeps to herself but when she meets Brennan Andrewes, she finds that difficult to do. He challenges her and she forces him to come out of his shell that he has put up himself. These two characters are good together, share chemistry, and even a bit of spice. The world within Good Scot feels completely set up and that makes the build up for their relationship even more believable.

The second story is Christmas at Dewberry Hollow by Amelia Grey. It is set in a family inn during the holidays. One of the guests John Gatestone meets the daughter who helping run the inn. Right away, they have a spark that is filled with a bit of misunderstanding. These two characters come from two different worlds but the more time they spend together, they find a strong connection. I felt that their love story was rather quick and would have enjoyed more build up. John and Isabelle are sweet together and ultimately do find a way to get their happily ever after.

The final story is My Mistletoe Beau by Anna Bennett. This is an enemies to lovers set up between two members of a family rivalry. I just wish it had been more balanced. There is alot of information presented here in regards to the background of these characters and where they are in present day. in some ways, this felt like an info dump for the story. The chemistry between the characters felt bogged down by it and it almost felt like there is a personality switch from what was described and what actually happened. This story des have some snow and mistletoe to tie it into the holiday season. I'm just sad the other components did not work as well.

Kissing Under The Mistletoe is a mixed anthology for me. As a reader, I was transported to the highlander locations presented in all three stories. Unfortunately, not all the stories were balanced for me with romance and holiday festivities. It you're looking for some historical holiday romance that is easy to read and feels authentic with their locations and descriptions, this may be a good one for you.
