This was an excellent addition to the book and greatly enhanced the experience! It added so much more to the story and world and characters and made reading it that much more fun.

Great set of peripherals for use in a book club. We look forward to trying the recipes once we meet for the discussion.

I think that this kit is very beautiful and presents to the reader the perfect questions to open a creative discussion.
I am not going to lie, but the drink recipes were a genius idea. It also has a historical background with lots of information that can be useful before and after reading the book.

I’ve already been convincing everyone I know to read The Chosen and The Beautiful as it is the culmination of my teenage queer, mixed race, Prohibition-obsessed dreams. What a great extra for a fantastic book! With really thoughtful discussion questions, essays giving historical background on the book, recipes for 1920s-themed cocktails, and an arts-and-crafts activities section with papercutting instructions and templates, this bookclub kit has it all.

This is a really useful guide to accompany a book club's discussion of a book. It includes informative pieces about history that I wouldn't have known otherwise with unique insights into Asian culture. There are also fun drink recipes - which I think lend themself to the time period of this book. I am really looking forward to reading this book now.

I did not realize this was only a kit when I downloaded it. It's not of any use to me without the book. Cheers.
