Thank you Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara for another great Little People, BIG DREAMS (LPBD) book.
I think kids will really enjoy the newest edition to the LPBD series. Michelle Obama has lead a life inspired to help people, and it comes through in these pages. I loved learning more about her childhood and her family.
Can't wait to see who is featured in the series next.
As and adult, I have read Michelle Obama’s book, Becoming, and recommend it highly. Here we have a Michelle for the youngest readers in a new entry in the popular Little People, Big Dreams series. The same qualities come across in both books: Michelle values family, education, health, fitness and helping those who come along behind you.
This title is recommended for both home and school libraries. It simply tells the story of an inspiring American woman.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
3.5 "inspiration for little ones" stars !!
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and illustrator and Quarto Publishing Group. This will be released July 6, 2021. I am providing my honest review.
This little book is one of a long series of notable and exceptional individuals. This is suitable for children aged 4 to 6 or so. The illustrations are colorful and inclusive with just enough biographical information for little ones to dream to do their best and be their best just like Michelle !!
Michelle Obama is the newest lead in this latest edition of the Little People, BIG DREAMS series by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara. This series is such a delight and the perfect way to educate not just kids but everyone about historic and cultural icons.
Michelle Obama is an American attorney and author who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017. This book follows Michelle Obama as she grows up on the south side of Chicago to her work with Public Allies and her time spent in the White House.
Mia Saine illustrates this installment and does an amazing job. Saine's' art style was so captivating and her art definitely further helped tell Michelle's story. I love collecting these books and am so thrilled to add this one to the rest of my collection.
I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
An inspirational brief biography about former first Lady, Michelle Obama. The story was a little rushed, but I loved learning about her life and family. Perfect for children of all ages.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC.
Michelle Obama by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another impressive addition to the Little People, BIG DREAMS series, this time focused on the former First Lady. As with previous installments of the series, the colourful, vibrant pictures are accompanied by informative yet simplistic text, and the result is an educational and enjoyable reading experience that is easily accessible to even the very youngest of children.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Frances Lincoln Children's Books for an ARC.
Little People Big Dreams brings another great biography for children. Michelle Obama knew the importance of education from a young age and worked to achieve her dream. Along the way, she helped take care of other minority students. After meeting Barack Obama, she became the first lady and began a platform of nutrition and fitness for America’s youth.
This biography is written in easy to understand language for children. I recommend it for personal and classroom libraries.
Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
