This is my first book by this author and am looking forward to more. I couldn't put it down. Tug is a true heroine. She's strong, independent and very likable. Dallas is a Hollywood actor whom Tug once saved from drowning although Dallas is under the misapprehension that his business partner, Lily, was the one who saved him. Dallas is intrigued by Tug and would like to get closer. However, a vengeful woman makes life difficult for the both of them. Love the book and will definitely recommend.
Thank you J.L. Wilson, The Wild Rose Press and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Theresa is doing the one thing she always wanted. She owns a bakery. An individual she met in cooking school named Dallas is opening a restaurant in town. When he arrives they become friends quickly. I liked the chemistry between Theresa and Dallas.

This was an interesting read - my first by this author and I'll be looking for others.

Part romance/part mystery -- Theresa aka "Tug" - is a baker living in a lighthouse in her hometown in MN. A blast from her past shows up - via Hollywood. Dallas is a former movie star turned restauranteur. About the time he shows up, Tug's bakery is the target of a hate crime, and then a dress store owner is found dead on her dock, someone tries to run her down in a boat while she's swimming, and things get crazy from there. I really liked Tug's character -- she's strong, independent, successful and interesting.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.
