This book wasn't for me. I didn't like the writing. I didn't like the plot. I might try to read it again and see if my feelings change.

3.5 stars 0 This is erotica, for sure. I’d go so far as to call it raunchy. Unfortunately, raunchy isn’t my cuppa. I don’t find name-calling sexy. If you call me s1ut, wh0re, or the like you should expect a swift knee to the groin. If name-calling is your thing and married people having sex outside the marriage doesn’t ruffle your feathers, this is right up your alley.

Not exactly a fave for me. Seemed a bit out of reach and not what I really was hoping for in the book. The writing is more like a diary and I do not enjoy that style of writing.

The action never stops in this book - it's part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone too. The plotline is relatively condensed but if your focus isn't on an intricate plot, you'll enjoy the constant action.

Kara and her husband and Dom, Dane are planning a sex fest for her at their anniversary party. She stays in the bedroom while he comes and goes from the party. They have multiple rounds of very dirty sex, or could it be with multiple men? She isn’t quite sure, but it turns her on the think about it.
This book is straight up sex designed to get you where you need to go. If you’re looking for straight up porn/erotica, this is for you. I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinion.

So the detail in the steamy portions were very good and it was a spicy one, but there was not a whole lot of story. It is an erotic novella so it's not meant to be long, it is also the first time I have ever read such a book and I'm finding maybe it's just not my style. Though I did enjoy the story and the premise of the secret surprise for his lover. All around a nice spicy book that will definitely get anyone in the mood.

Very hot. Some inconsistencies, but not enough to fully take away from the overall enjoyment. Definitely a quick novella I would recommend to friends who are looking for this kind of read.

This novel was absolutely spectacular in terms of consistent erotic action. It was thoroughly pleasing to read and kept the reader wanting more. Every erotic scenario was detailed and captivating leaving the reader wanting more and more with each turn of a page. I was thoroughly pleased with this novel and highly recommend it to those who love the erotic genre. This novel hits all the nails on the head. It is a crowd pleaser. I hope their will be future instalments from the author because this novel was exceptional.

Not bad, not my usual read, and a little over the top for my liking, but I’m sure if you are a hard core fan this would be right up your street.

I really enjoyed this shoet story. The newly weeded couple are so cute and whislt exploring their fantasy I love how it is well written. The end was definitely my favorite part and it so lovely. Listening to him divulge everything about that night heart rendering.

This book was hot! It’s a very easy read and the dialogue isn’t fantastic, but ‘it gets the job done’ …. ;)

This book is super short and well rounded. Meaning you don’t have to wait long for the spicy details to get started.

The plot was beyond sexy, I really enjoyed the storyline and the male protagonist. Dane was an absolute wonder! I think it's fantastic that Ruan Willow wrote a character that so openly prioritizes their woman’s needs, wants and life goals. Huge round of applause!

I was not a fan of the monologue writing style and I really couldn’t get on board with Kara who just came across immature. There were certain parts where I felt like I was reading a teenagers diary. I love a good filthy book but some of the word choices were a little distracting from the story.

I was able to read this short novella in a couple hours. If you are in need of a quick escape from reality look no further.

The Mardi Gras Unmasking is a multiple -partner BDSM novella. involving a young married couple in a Dom/Sub relationship. They are hosting a Mardi Gras party at their home however, the husband tell his wife to stay in the bedroom with a mask on and he will fulfill her sexual desires in between his bartending duties in the living room. Kara spends the night in bed while a man comes in periodically and fulfills her lusty desires. It is supposed to be her husband but at times something about the man doesn't seem exactly like her husband. She has a fantasy of having sex with a number of partners in one event so she is not too disturbed by the feeling that it may not always be her husband. This is an interesting and safe way to explore her sexual desires. There is some mild BDSM, I recommend this book.

Captivating from the start. Those who prefer less wordy erotica will love this. I was sucked in from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down.

Nope. absolutely not. Filthy not erotic. The lack of consent was absolutely not ok and the style of writing was childish

Overall a good book.. slightly tawdry in parts. A very sexually imaginative ride. A new author for me but enjoyed it.
