Great cozy mystery installment in a series. Enjoyed the setting and cast of characters. Would recommend the series.
I wanted to love this! The synopsis is funny and adorable and you go into thinking this is a cute summery wedding rom-com. What you get is something so fluffy it's nonsensical. I love rom-coms. I'm a rom-com queen. This is more outrageous trying to be a rom-com and I just couldn't connect with it. This is a great fit for the right reader, unfortunately that reader isn't me.

1. ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ - Lottie has herself in an interesting twist on a love triangle. The past, present, and future finally collide at a unique event, and Lottie has her epiphany.
2. ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ - An insider look into the ultra-glamorous weddings of the rich and famous. It is outrageous to think of the hundreds of thousands of dollars that are spent on some weddings as highlighted in the story.
3. ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ - Some of the weddings that we see are downright hilarious in some aspects. Think chickens and dollhouses and ghosts! To each their own, though, and especially when they are forking out all of that money for the day of their dreams.
4. ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ - A true sentiment to the fact that even if you donโt think love will find you or that you donโt even want it to, it is bound to creep up on you and pounce.

๐๐๐ฅ-๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ - Sometimes we just need a good romcom that ends with us feeling like there is good in the world for everyone! Even though there are bumps along the way, Lottie and the others fight their way through them and the story ends just perfectly (although I would like to see the actual outcome at some point ๐)
This was a cute, quick read. The weddings were over the top, as were the people involved. It was just a light, humorous look at some outrageous weddings that you would love to attend to watch it all happen.
I liked to see Lottie learn to be more confident and sure in her abilities as she was working on the weddings. I actually would have wished she had not cared so much about the romance in her life. It would have been better to see the romance happen naturally and her focus be on her own growth.
Lottie's perfect life plan unraveled at college graduation. Her fiancรฉ, Brody, leaves her at the altar (almost literally - after all, she has had the church reserved for their wedding for years!) to embark on his major league football career. The plans Lottie had been working on for their wedding (for years!) helped her find a job as a wedding planner in which she excelled. As she successfully manages one spectacular, over-the-top wedding after another, Lottie can't forget the perfect wedding she didn't have. She is offered an opportunity to open a new brach of the wedding planning company she works for and her first assignment is Brody's wedding to a Hollywood actress.
I enjoyed this book; it was light but not in a romancey, beach-readish kind of way. It was the story of Lottie's acceptance of a life that she did not anticipate and realization that the path she ended up traveling was actually a better fit and made her happier.
This is an interesting book with fascinating characters. The premise a slightly different, and was an enjoyable read. To be honest, I do enjoy wedding shenanigans, and just gave me plenty to read about. All in all it was a fun read for me.
This was okay. I didnโt love it nor did I hate it.
It felt like a typical rom com that would make for a great easy summer read but it didnโt excite me or make me giggle or smile constantly.
Without a Hitch is a novel that I was thrilled to start reading based on synopsis. However; I was unable to connect with the story and characters. I was not able to finish this book after reading for ten percent.
The writing style and premise was good, but this story fell a little flat for me.
I enjoyed the wedding element. I also just really enjoy romcoms!
Everyone needs a cute, quick read every now and then with all the happily ever afters and all that jazz. I thought this book would be it but it sadly was not. It was pretty cliche and although it did have some humorous moments it was pretty light on the romance and more focused on the main character finding who she is meant to be, while letting go of everyone's expectations of her. Of course this is a HEA - ish at the end but it was not satisfying for me which was disappointing considering I spent most of the book hoping it would get better...but it never did.
great read and enjoyed all that i had read. This was good from beginning to end. Yeah!!

As much as I wanted to love this book, I couldnโt. I really tried but I did not connect with the main character at all. I really think that this book would have been better if it was about Lottie becoming who she wanted to be and considered womenโs fiction rather than a romance. Thank you for the chance to review this book!
Unfortunately, I really just did not enjoy this book. The main character was severely lacking in personality and the little she did have seemed pretty vapid and shallow.
Fans of ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฟ๐๐๐๐๐๐ would enjoy all the hilarious, unfortunate wedding mishaps that take place is this book. Amazon has this book listed as a an Editors Pick for Top Romance, but I honestly didnโt feel this book qualifies as a romance. Itโs more of a womenโs fiction with a side of comedy. While this book made me laugh, I was let down. I definitely went into this one expecting more romance. I did enjoy reading about all the crazy weddings, but I really didnโt feel like there was much else to the story.
This was so fun! I loved the idea of a second-career wedding planner trying to make a name for herself and make her life better. I liked that this wasn't a full blown romance, rather it was a self-discovery story.
I received an advanced copy. All thoughts are my own.
It was an enjoyable read, but I couldn't bring myself to get that attached tothe main characters, unfortunately that's a deal breaker for me in a romance book.
Thank you for the opportunity of reviewing.
This was a cute romcom with some really funny parts but I find it a little far fetched that a lawyer would change careers to be a wedding planner.
Another cute cover we have in here! ๐ But guess what? Sadly, the content is not as good as the cover. ๐ฅบI really wanted to like this book, I tried. I am so underwhelmed. ๐ข
Another book about a wedding planner who didnโt make it as a lawyer. There were some funny parts, but this book was too predictable, too perfect, too romantic. Usually, I love a quick and easy beach read, but the characters were flat, the story cliche, and a bit slow. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
This was truly a romantic comedy. Light-hearted, not too deep, some laugh out loud moments. Easy to read and quick too!
