I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
This was such a cute and fun read! Not memorable by any means, but your average royal/princess meets and falls in love with commoner romance. While it's been done many times over very well, this was just so so. I can't say I'd read it again and it did take me awhile to finish, but it wasn't terrible. The best parts were the laugh out loud moments. Melanie Summers truly has the ability to write a great rom-com, I'd just pick up one of her others before this one.

I received an advanced copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you to NetGalley, Melanie Summers, and Indigo Group. ❤️
This is the last book in the trilogy about Will and Arabella. It was a fun and silly as the other books. I can always count on Melanie Summers’ books to help me escape reality for a little bit!
Thanks to @NetGalley and Indigo Group for my ARC!
This trilogy is the first set of books I’ve read of Melanie Summers and I’m definitely a fan of her work for life! These books were fun, quirky, and full of lighthearted drama and chaos. I’m a sucker for a princess-story or royal-family story so that also doesn’t hurt 😊!
As a semi-recently married woman myself I could relate to the wedding planning stress and coordination, and of course all the ups and downs of blending families (although our families got along a lot better haha!)! I actually was in a long distance relationship with my now-husband while we were wedding planning so very relatable! I can’t even imagine how nutty we would have looked if we were being filmed 😂.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story and will miss these characters and might just have to dive into the Paradise Bay series which was a precursor to this spin off!
Thanks so much to Melanie Summers my fellow Canadian and of course to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and love every minute!
After reading the other books, this book was a perfect compliment to the ending. This comedy romance of a royal wedding is EVREYTHING people need to read to have a little laugh and love, if your a hallmark movie lover, well my friends this story is the book for you.
When I started the first book in the series, I was unaware that the characters already had a history in the form of other books by the author. This crucial point escaped me somehow when I was looking at the blurb before picking it up.
It is not a very strong sticking point because all three books in this series focus exclusively on one couple and their issues.
The best part about it was the elaboration on the course that the lead couple's life takes during different stages of their 'togetherness'; this felt quite realistic and made this an enjoyable collection.
Finally, in the third instalment, there is a wedding in the offing. Now that there is an official name to the relationship, Will has to manage to adhere to similar rules that Arabella is used to. This includes but is not limited to bodyguards and dance lessons. The author quite succinctly puts together the tension of two families meeting and the pressure to please and ensure everything goes smoothly and, most importantly, everyone is happy (an almost impossible task at the best of times). There is a tension of a different sort here as well as understandable quarrels, but there is a happily ever after, which makes it worth it. This last bit is not a spoiler, given the genre.
The author injects humour into quite a lot of scenes, and I really enjoyed her style of storytelling. I would definitely recommend this series and the author to anyone on the lookout for a light read with some heavier undertones and a HEA.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience of this and the other books in the trilogy.
Royally Ties is the third and final book in the Crazy in Love series, and you definitely need to read in order, this will not be a good standalone read.
The book picks up again after the events of the second book. Will and Arabella are engaged and planning the royal wedding, but as usual chaos ensues and drama is found around every curve.
For me, this one was my least fave of the trilogy. I just wanted them to be able to be happy already! And i knew how it was going to end but getting there made me so frustrated. That being said, I am sorry to say goodbye to Avonia and mainly Gran.
The series feels very Princess Diaries, and those Meg Cabot fans will love this book series.
What a delightful end to a fun trilogy. Princess Arabella and Will are finally getting married. But first they have to slay the dragon (lady) who is holding Will hostage with an unfair contract. Then they have to survive the clash of the families. Plenty of drama and lots of laughs in this conclusion to the Crazy Royal Love series.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
I love this whole series of rom-coms. Melanie Summers has the ability to create characters and situations that draw me in and keep me turning the pages, while laughing and feeling at the same time.
This is the third in this particular series, and frankly, I wasn't sure she could get a whole book out of wedding planning. But because Will and Arabella are such strong, well-defined characters, and because all the supporting characters have something to contribute, she carried it off very well.
I recommend starting with the first in the series-- or even going all the way back to the first book set in the Santa Valentina islands. That's how good they are!
Thank you NetGalley for sending this arc for an honest review!
After reading the other books, this book was a perfect compliment to the ending. This comedy romance of a royal wedding is EVREYTHING people need to read to have a little laugh and love, if your a hallmark movie lover, well my friends this story is the book for you.
When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day.
This whole series was different for it. I won't say that I loved it and I won't say that I hated it either. It was just in between. I like the author's writing style though.
Another laugh out loud, rom com by Melanie Summers. I have loved reading this series. For some fun, light hearted reading for summer I highly recommend this series.
I've loved Melanie Summers books and getting to know these fake royal family members. They always make me laugh out loud. I enoyed Arabella and Will's story in their first book, and I'm so excited after their jungle adventure they are finally going to get married.
In this book in particular, I found Arabella annoying and constantly worrying about dumb things. She's like an entirely different person when Will isn't around. Of the love stories of Avonia, this one turned out to be my least favorite. Personally, I think the reality television aspect of their story got really boring by the third book.
There are some good, funny moments, but overall, I just wanted to leave their wedding to my imagination.
I cannot get enough of this series! Princess Arabella and her survival expert fiance Will are planning their wedding. Two very different families, with very different views, are determined to help plan these nuptials, despite the bride and groom's reluctance to have them help. Even the wedding dress idea is under attack. Everything from the ideas, the decor, the ceremony, to the food is under constant change. The whole thing is then under the scrutiny and camera of a reality tv producer. Talk about drama and angst!
But the book is light hearted, despite some real world problems, well written and laugh out loud commentary that keeps you in stitches.
I'm hoping that while this seems to be the last book in the series, Ms Summers will change her mind and do a Just Married with Baby book...
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this free copy for my unpaid, honest review.
I really enjoyed this final instalment of Arabella and Will’s story. This one chronicles the lead-up to their wedding and all the preparations that come along with that while Will is also taking royal etiquette lessons as well as continuing to work for ABN following the previous storyline. Meanwhile Arabella is continuing her charity work while planning the wedding with besties Tessa and Nikki. However she feels it would be frivolous and fiscally irresponsible to have a lavish celebration and there is extra pressure that comes with decisions surrounding that.
The only thing wrong with this is that it’s the last Crazy Royal Love book and I am so sad to be saying goodbye to Arabella and Will and all their crazy antics. I suppose, though, I can always pop open a packet of crisps and restart the series from the beginning and visit my friends in Avonia again and again.
A royal wedding with some very fun and cute moments, I loved it. Royally Tied by Melanie Summers is a fantastic read, very quick, but it was cute!
Good grief I love this author and this series. Sweet, humorous and lovable characters that keep a smile on my face. This, for me is the definition of a great summer read!
I have absolutely loved Arabella and Will’s story in the first two books. Now, it is wedding time, and again, not without the camera crews. I think that is the ultimate happily ever after to get for a book couple you just adore. There is so much humor are the adjustment for Will and total life, and Arabella not wanting to become a Bridezilla. You will get in so many good laughs and just have a full heart with the completion of their story.
I will be looking for other books by Melanie Summers. She is the perfect weekend sit back and relax author for me.
I was super excited to read this one but also sad 'cause it meant the end of this story. Which I loved.
This book was so pleasant and lovely to read. It's super fun to read this new stage of Arabella and Will's story, and it's amazing to see how much they've grown as characters. Although I have to say, Arabella kept infuriating me...a lot! but thank God she always realises when she's being ... let's say...ridiculous. I think I connected with and understood more Will than Arabella because I'm more like him, character-wise than is. Well, I'm also nature and outdoor lover but not at his level. Sadly, I don't have my own tv show yet.
As for the plot, I have to say it wasn't that strong, but it was fine and I absolutely enjoyed it.
Also, it's safe to say that this is the cheesiest book of the three, but it wasn't eye-roll cheesy, so I'm really thankful. This was the perfect way to wrap up this lovely story. And I'm looking forward to possible future books in this world.
