A newly-released prisoner who wants her daughter back. An adopted little girl suddenly in jeopardy. Will the battle over her fate be more costly than anyone can imagine?

What do you do when a woman shows up on your doorstep, suddenly wanting her daughter back? Never in a million years did Marcus and Charlotte O’Connell expect to be faced with this kind of dilemma, but when Reine Colbert is released from prison, she shows up at their house, demanding they return her daughter, Eva.
I really enjoyed this gripping read and recommend it!

I enjoyed this book so much I couldn’t put it down. It stirs up the emotions, I don’t know what Reine was sent to prison in the first place but sensed injustice had and still was playing a major part in this angry woman’s life. She really needs a Good Samaritan and a big help with the legal system, which she gets. A great read, and I will look for more from this author.

I really enjoyed this book. It combined mysteries involving Billy Jo McCabe and Mark Freissen , a social worker and a detective in a town on an island in the Pacific Northwest, with a hint of romance between them. The mysteries feature complex characters and their attempts to deal with situations which occur while they are in the process of doing their jobs. I highly recommend this book to other mystery readers.

BP by L. Eckhart, published by Victoria Editing, is book 16 in the O'Connell books series. BP could be read as a stand-alone, Anyway for bets reading experience I recommend to read in order.
Reine is back from prison and she wants her daughter back. A daughter she gave up 3 years ago and is now adopted by Sheriff Marcus and his wife. Trouble is programmed. Neither is willing to step back.
BP is a touching, twisty read, well written, 4,5 stars.

Good book! The stories were definitely a good read, this book is a bunch of short stories! While they had suspense, intrigue, action and a good storyline, I would recommend reading this book, I'm just not big on short stories. Its definitely worth reading just not my top favorites! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
