Yes!!!
Y’all, it’s like the book gods are trying to tell me something because The Hubs and I were just talking the other day about decluttering our home. We’re an ex-military family so we’ve moved…a lot. And that’s means we’ve accumulated a LOT of “stuff” ranging from sentimental to random. I can’t tell you what’s everywhere and that’s a problem.
This book has it all. I LOVE how the author says it’s okay to have stuff in your home. I’ll admit I was stressing trying to picture MY family with no clutter. This book doesn’t tell you to remove all clutter…just most of it.
Game changer!
The author takes you room by room and presents fantastic narrative to guide your decluttering. It’s direct and fun and so helpful and I can’t wait to use it!

I've been a huge Allie Casazza fan for a while. I have always enjoyed her content and if you've been a follower of hers for a while, while some of the things she writes about I've heard before she has a lot of new information in her book.
It's a must read if you want to take control of your home and declutter, I love her tactical advice.

I especially like Allie's tips and approach to purging toys while keeping your children's personalities, feelings, and needs in mind. And I want to thank her for saying "organization doesn't work" when it comes to toys. In our house, organization is just a system that falls apart if I'm not constantly maintaining it. More frustration = more tension, less peace at home.

I love Allie Casazza's entire approach to decluttering. This book reads great. I've struggled with clutter since becoming a mom and Allie made me feel like I could tackle it! Awesome, positive, and relevant read. I love the title and the cover. Thank you Allie for your passion and sharing it with the world.

When I seen Declutter Like a Mother by Allie Casazza I had to read it!
I’m always feeling like my home is cluttered and it stresses me out.
Allie Casazza gives amazing help, advice and tips on a guilt-free, no-stress way to transform your home and your life in this phenomenal book.
My favorite subject was “how to make time, when you feel you don’t have time, to declutter” and she really gives some amazing helpful advice here.
Really informative and I’m so glad I came across it.
"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
Thank You NetGalley and Nelson Books for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing
eARC!

Not a bad book but nothing that feels particularly different than other minimalism or decluttering books on the market. That said, I'm not the greatest target audience for this kind of book -- I thought it might be extra-inspiring, enough to get me over my clutter with the 'motherhood' angle, but alas, I'm still as cluttered as ever.

This book is great! I love that she doesn't say- you have to get rid of all your stuff! Decluttering doesn't have to mean getting rid of all your things. This book has great recommendations on how to declutter all areas of your home as well as how to maintain that decluttering! Would've loved it more if there were also pictures along with it.

I enjoy reading books on minimalism and this was a good one. Focused on mothers, Casazza leads with an empowering message of taking ownership of your own life and space which really resonated with me. Her approach is flexible and doable (30 minute per day). I look forward to implementing her strategies and highly recommend this for anyone who wishes for a more streamlined life. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I’ve followed Allie from the beginning and so happy she published a book. Allie. Is funny and witty and REAL. No fluff here. This book needed to be published and I’ve gifted to some friends because it’s exactly what we all need. A true look at our lives as mothers and what we can do to enjoy it or enjoy it even more.

tbh I was skeptical about "Declutter Like a Mother". There are so many decluttering, home organization, organize your life type books out there. But I was pleasantly surprised! It was written in a way that was very easy to read and gave a lot of practical tips. Most of the tips weren't rocket science, but after reading them, I was shocked that I didn't think of them myself! I love that it doesn't push minimalism, but gives you permission to get rid of unnecessary stuff.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!

I’ve followed Allie Casazza on social media for awhile. Having this book was wonderful because it meant that I was able to have an assortment on her tips and tricks and info on hand vs scrolling and getting lost on SM.

I've followed Allie Casazza for years and have spent a disgusting amount of money on her courses, so I was looking forward to her first book. However, I didn't find enough in-depth advice to warrant more than 3 stars. She glosses over the subject of decluttering almost as a way to funnel readers into her overpriced courses (which also, by the way, only cover the most basic subjects). There are hundreds of books on this topic, many of them better.

I overall enjoyed this one, especially the writer's voice. She was so motivating throughout and made this an overall enjoyable read.
Buuuut, I was more than 30% of the way in and she still hadn't given any advice on decluttering. It took a while to finally get started and, once it did, nothing was particularly life changing.
I appreciated the motivation of it all, though. Even if at times it was dragging on too long.

I love books on home and "stuff" management, came across Allie on Facebook, and started to follow her. I was lucky to get a review copy of her book from NetGalley. This is a very positive, flexible approach to decluttering your home that focuses on moms.
Core concepts are taking ownership, having a sense of abundance, ruthless "editing of your space," and defining the intent of all rooms in your home. I loved how flexible Allie is in her approach (no hardcore minimalist rules here), and how she recommends only 30 minutes per day.
But the most important thing is to differentiate between organizing and decluttering lol. Organizing is just finding better ways to store, stack and manage your many possessions. Decluttering is editing down your belongings to serve an intentional purpose that brings you joy, peace and happiness in your life. It only took me 4 decades or so to get this message lol.
The book gives a basic intro and then goes room by room on how to best tackle it and manage the common pitfalls. Although much of the material in the book I have read before, I'm giving it 4.5-stars in support of a female business owner who has made a success of herself.

Casazza writes a witty and informative book about decluttering and minimalism. She has a great sense of humor and helps the reader identify the types of tasks that will help streamline ones home. A very thorough book on both decluttering and minimalism.

Decluttering and getting your house back in order starts with the foundational decision of setting an intention for the space. Allie shares that by starting at the "intention" level, we will be more focused to follow through on the decluttering when it gets hard. A few big takeaways for me from this book: gifts are just gifts and we don't have to hold onto them, use them, or keep them out of obligation. Involve your kids in the process when you are decluttering their things. Overall this was a practical and useful guide to decluttering your house meant to be read while you conquer the task.

After deciding I wanted to go on a Minimal journey a year and a half ago. I thought this would be the perfect read as I too am also a mother. I did find this book informative as a parent struggling to minimize or "declutter". I would be interested in reading other minimal style books written for this author, Over all, I rated this book a 3 star book and will reference it along my decluttering journey.

This book was so helpful in organizing my house! I’m about to go through it again because the clutter has gotten out of control! The writing style is engaging and it’s full of tips for decluttering. Highly recommend.

This was recommended to me by a patron. I have OCD and love to declutter so it was right up my alley.

While I liked the suggestions and tips found in this book, the author’s tone and examples were condescending. I found myself annoyed and rolling my eyes several times throughout the book, which took away from me being able to enjoy the content.
