I am definitely in the minority here, but this one was a big "NO" for me. Generally, I enjoy reading Samantha Chase but I should have declined on this one.
The story was just too silly to come close to being believable. There was no character development. We don't get to know these people. The dialogue was juvenile. Take out the sex scene and it was like reading a teen novel. And where is the romance? You get kissed by someone you used to know from high school and boom, you're in love?
Sorry, but I could not find anything to recommend this book.

Received this book free for honest feedback. This is a sweet story about a girl (Cammie) boyfriend who cheats, a girl meets another boy (Cade), and slowly rebuilds her trust in HEA. I did like this book it was a quick read about a new beginning and trusting yourself. I did like Cade as a nice guy with no drama angst. The book had POV's which contributed to the story and romance. It was light and airy and worth the time to read. It has all the makings of a Lifetime Hallmark Romantic move and when you finish the book you will have the ahhh and smile on your face as if you just watched a Romantic movie. I only gave it a 4 because while it was a fun romance love story I found the heroine's constant avoidance of the ex was long drawn out and a bit unresolved in some ways without confrontation. Cammie is sweet but would have liked more backbone but the overall theme of her personality is a sweet girl which maybe confrontation not a part of her makeup. I can not determine if that would have increased my rating. However, I would recommend this book for anyone looking for light reading. I will look forward to what other books this author has published and check them out.

When your cheating ex and his replacement bride to be show up wanting to get married at your new job, you do the mature thing right!?! Right, you hide, hide, hide! Or are you maybe hiding because the hot landscaper keeps finding you!?! A fun summer read to have you giggling with delight in no time at all! A sweet romance with a strong cast of females to befriend and wind your way through a fun and well thought out plot with! I have discovered that this is one of a series and now must go back and read or rather listen to the entire series! Never fear though, I thoroughly enjoyed the book without having read the previous books so it works well as a stand alone book too! I'm just wanting to expand my reading/listening pleasure so I'll go back to the begin and read or rather listen my way through! Especially since the narrator of this book did such an outstanding job of helping bring the characters to life! I can't wait to listen to the rest of the books in the series!

All's fair in love and games! Bride & Seek is a fun, light-hearted romantic comedy that will have you smiling the entire time. I enjoyed the audiobook so much, it was the perfect escape from my work day.

The many times Cammie is forced to play "hide and seek" to avoid her ex & his vindictive fiancee, is beyond comical. Throw in a hot co-worker that is more than happy to assist her, and you have a match made in heaven.

This was a low-drama, highly entertaining story that would be the perfect beach read for summer! I always love diving into a book that has great chemistry between the characters and witty banter. Don't miss out on this series!

I like stories centered around wedding businesses. As a college student, I worked as a bridal consultant. I had never read this series before, but it apparently includes another installment that focuses on a bridal salon. I will read that one soon.
This was a fun romance. Yes, it was predictable, but it was also very sweet. I enjoyed the setting and the characters. The characters are in the late 20s to early 30s age group. The narrative includes limited adult language, and there are no erotic sex scenes. I also appreciate that, while this is a contemporary romance set in what appears to be present day, technology does not play a role in this story at all. The characters are not always on their phones, texting, or posting on social media. Thank you, Samantha Chase! That is worth at least a half a star. The author does not use pop culture references either. She effectively creates her own situation and atmosphere as well as natural dialogue that occurs face-to-face rather than through the ether.
At one point, the main character confronts her ex-fiance and his new bride-to-be. It was beautiful! Probably everybody had a special someone in their life at one time or another that they would have liked to confront like this. What an excellent scene.
I'm not fond of romantic couples having names that make them sound like fraternal twins, but that is a small complaint. Cammie and Cade. Is Cade short for Kincaid? I don't even know. Oh, well. It's an enjoyable romantic read.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Bride & Seek is a short and sweet read. The angst is reasonable and relatable (she has to work her ex fiancé's wedding). The hero, Cade, is easy to like. The pacing is a bit fast, but for a short novel it's pretty good. The narration was very well done and this would make for a fun escapist read by the pool.

I received an audioARC in exchange for honest review.

Samantha Chase writes such beautifully attainable romance novels. They always feel so accessible and her characters are remarkable. This was especially on display in this novel. Steamy and smart.

If you’re looking for a great romantic comedy with a perfect HEA this is the book for you. The two main characters are wonderful. Cammie just wants to move forward with her life after what she walked in on her fiancé with his bosses daughter on top of his desk. She packed up her life and moved back to her home town and was making a new life for herself. She loves her new job until the moment she realizes her ex and the woman he cheated with are at her new job planning their wedding there. She is saved by Cade, who like Cammie has pretty much given up on true love. He catches her hiding to avoid the ex and there an instant connection. They’re truly adorable and their story is a fun one. I’ve read the series and this is my favorite. I do believe that you can easily read as a stand alone, but it wouldn’t hurt to read the others. The narration was terrific.

Bride and Seek is a cute, endearing story about a resort event planner hiding from her cheating ex with the help of the sexy groundskeeper. It's the fifth book in a series, but Chase does a good job of contextualizing the events and characters from previous books so that someone like me coming in blind could still tell what was going on.

The story is enjoyable and reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. I wished that it had gone deeper into some of the emotions, but I understand that Chase could only do so much with such a short novel. This will certainly delight both established fans of the series and newcomers who love wedding stories!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review!

Short, cute, and works as a stand-alone.

Cammie flees to her hometown after catching her fiancé cheating. She starts a new job at a great resort. Then, to her horror, he shows up with his NEW fiancée to book their wedding at the resort.
Over the next few months, the cheater and his fiancée show up repeatedly. Cammie keeps dodging them- basically playing a game of hide and seek without the couple realizing it. Her co-workers help her, especially Cade.

I listened to the audiobook and the narration is good. Well paced, easy to understand, not annoying (lol).

I requested an ARC after reading the description. When I downloaded the book, I was instantly disappointed for two reasons- I didn't realize it was part of a series and it was short (less than 4 hours for the audiobook). I hate starting a series in the middle and I hate novellas. However, despite starting with two strikes, I enjoyed it. This book totally works as a stand-alone, so the middle of the series thing was a non-issue. The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is basically the length. I just don't feel like there is enough time to properly develop characters. But that is definitely my preference with books.

I received an advance copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a cute and quick read. I loved the “hide and seek” and all the cute meetings they had. I also love how there wasn’t a huge miscommunication issue between the two. It made for a good read.

I absolutely loved this book! I started and finished it in one sitting. I loved the way Cammie and Cade met and started their relationship began.

Cammie starts a new job as an event coordinator at a gorgeous mountain resort to get a fresh start. Unfortunately her ex and his fiancée show up to plan their wedding. Cammie begins hiding from them and runs into Cade every time. Their relationship begins to bloom from there.

I loved the story itself but I also enjoy the way the narrator brought these characters to life.

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an advance copy of this audiobook!

Come out, come out, wherever you are! Bride & Seek will overheat your summer!

Just what I needed. Another sappy summer love story. No. Really. It’s just what I needed.
Bride and Seek, Book 4 in the Enchanted Bridal series by Samantha Chase, is narrated by Kathryn Lynhurst, and for me, was the perfect companion for me to enjoy during this week’s Southern California heatwave. Though things between this couple were getting hot, hot, hotter, the mild cool resort air surrounding their gorgeous mountain workplace was enough to settle even the most overheated heart.
Our main character is Cammie, who is, as usual, is a jilted former bride who returns home to the mountains of the east coast to restart her life after she walks in on her former fiance having sex with the boss’ daughter in North Carolina. Now, six months later, after finally finding a new home, new lifestyle, and new place to use her college hospitality degree, Cammie is confronted with her former fiance and the tramp sex partner/girlfriend/new fiance, who insist on holding their upcoming wedding and reception at the resort where Cammie is on the event planning team.
Watch Cammie run. And curse like a sailor. But never fear. Cammie runs right into the hottest man she’s ever known and finds herself speechless by his sexy demeanor. And even better, this hotty, who has a name – Cade, is head-over-heels for Cammie as well. (Why is this NOT sexual harassment? I’m just saying.”
I must be getting old, but it seems like young people boil over awfully fast these days – and in public places. Where are the good ol’ fashioned values? Anyway, Bride and Seek is a fast, formulaic read that will hold any reader’s attention from start to finish.
Grab a very large glass of water, iced tea, or whatever imbibement you desire and hit ‘Play’ on this romantic audiobook story. Your vacation drive will fly by. Your work commute or your afternoon of daydreaming at the beach will force you to blast the air conditioning or dunk yourself underwater. Regardless of how you ingest this fun little fantasy, it will be well worthwhile.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the Audiobook ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this audiobook. This is part of a series, but listens well as a stand alone. I did not really like Cammie the main character-ok I know she got a raw deal with her ex-but grow up and just step up. Quit hiding, although hiding led to her next romance. I just found her annoying-maybe I was just in the mood for feisty. It was an ok listen but I quite honestly didn't care. I almost wanted someone better for Cade. It was easy listening though. 3 stars

Cammie is starting life over again. 6 months ago she found her fiancee cheating on her with the boss's daughter. Everything in her life changed.
She now has a new job that she loves and a new place to live, that's all hers. Things are finally starting to go her way.
As an event planner for a resort, Cammie deals with a variety of activities, including weddings. When she finds out one of the couples looking to book their wedding is her ex fiancee, she freaks out. She can't afford to lose this job. So she has to make the best of it. While she is venting in the storage shed about this, she runs into Cade Taylor, the head landscaper. She ends up telling him the whole story. And that is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
I enjoyed Cammie and Cades story. I'm looking forward to the next series.
4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I took off 1 star for the audio. At times I wasn't quite sure who was talking. The voices were very similar.
I want to thank Netgalley for the chance to review this audio book .

Super sweet. Not over the top sexy…. Just cute and easy to read. Cammie’s internal monologue was awesome and Cade was a perfect romantic lead.
