You fix things when they aren’t working, right? Well, that’s what Ainsley tries to do with her marriage to her husband, Peter, when they agree to an “arrangement” of seeing other people, no questions asked, to put the spark back in their marriage. But will they both adhere to the “rules” of their arrangement? And what happens when things get out of hand?
O. M. G. This book! It was so unexpectedly devious, gripping, suspenseful and full of twists! Everything you want a great domestic thriller to be! I was not expecting the story to go where it went and it threw me for a loop several times, especially THAT ENDING!
The characters are well rounded, both likable and highly detestable! I found myself hating both of them at times but tried to put myself in their shoes with the decisions that they made.
5⭐️ Definitely recommended!
*Big thanks to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media and Kiersten Modglin for the Audiobook ARC in exchange for my review*

I'm not going to say much about the plot, as I don't want to spoil the story.
Honestly this book was disappointing. From the very start I disliked the main characters, making all of the twists much less impactful. The foreshadowing was so vague it might as well have not existed, the only reason I caught it it because I accidentally read a spoiler in another review.
All of the twists happened one right after the other, boom boom boom, like the author was just trying to shove all of her ideas into one book.
Overall not great.
The narrators were great, pleasant to listen to.
*Thank you to the publisher for this eARC.

The talk of starting meaningless relationships on an online dating site made me crazy. I almost couldn’t keep listening. Everything about this made me nervous. They were the perfect couple, weren’t they? Beautiful family with a beautiful life. Would they risk all that to find their relationship again? Apparently so!
The book is disturbing and eerily convincing with lots of twists and suspense. Wow! I didn’t see that coming.
This was some great writing. This story will make you doubt everything. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this if you love mystery suspense.
This was a audiobook for me and narrated by George Newbern, Sarah Mollo-Christensen. They were awesome and very convincing.
Thanks Dreamscape Media via Netgalley.

Ainsley Greenburg knows what she wants and what she doesn’t and she doesn’t want to divorce Peter. She prides herself on being able to fix any problem that comes her way and so she puts all of her energy toward finding a solution for her marriage.
And so Ainsley proposes The Arrangement. They each are to join Dater, using fake names, and once a week, they are to have a single date with a new person. They will not tell each other anything about these dates and will not tell the people they are dating anything about themselves.
But after the first dates, someone takes a keen interest in Ainsley and things spiral out of control. Rather than risk the damage that could be done to both of their reputations, their children and their family, Peter and Ainsley find that they must team together to keep the truth from coming out.
The first half of the book was a slow build, more about their marriage and personalities. The second half picks up speed with lots (maybe almost too many) twists and turns.
The two narrators on audiobook do a great job telling the story from their unique perspective and even when unveiling a new twist to the story, they stay very believable, failing to see their own deepest faults while explaining away their decisions and behaviors as though explaining to a friend.
An entertaining read that will keep the audience guessing and second-guessing.

In The Arrangement, Peter and Ainsley decide to save their marriage by dating other people, but in order for it to work there can be no more secrets between them.
I listened to this audiobook and thought I was in for a short little thrill based on the length. Definitely got way more than I thought. This book goes 0 to 100 very quickly and made me gasp in shock multiple times. With any good thriller I can't wait to tell someone the crazy things that happened and this was no exception. The narrators were perfect and I highly recommend listening to this one. The last three chapters bumped this one from a 4 to a 4.5/5.
If you like thrillers, to death do we part, and secrets stacked on secrets, you have to listen to this one. The audiobook comes out June 29th so get ready for the ride.
I received a copy of this audiobook free from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media in exchange for an honest review.
