It was supposed to be one night. Then Declan keeps on popping back into her life. Maybe one more time? Readable and fun.
This was a surprisingly cute story. It had an adorable cover as well. I enjoyed that the roles were reversed in this book- usually the man is the one more casual about sex and the girl is the one wanting more. It's 2021, we need more of these.
Serendipity certainly comes into play with Sarah and Declan and I also appreciated the hilarious commentary that Sarah provided throughout the course of the novel. Despite all that both had gone through, whether it be Sarah and her mom and Declan with Fiona, they we were willing to open their hearts again to find true love. I think it also helped that they have support from family and true friends such as Annie and Paul. A great read.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a e-arc of this book. All opinions are my own.
I loved it! This book is the perfect mix of drama, sexy and cute. I usually prefer steamier book and don’t like “fade to black” but honestly it did not bother me with this book. The chemistry between the character was H-O-T and made up for it. I loved that for once the female character was the one scared to get in a relationship and had a freak out.
I have nothing bad to say about this book and I will recommend it to a lot of friends!
I kindly received an eARC advance copy of this book to read and review though NetGalley.
The hot pink cover promising chicklit and romance did not disappoint 😉.
Sarah, New Yorker and architect, has some commitment issues. Between her parents’ divorce and her ugly break up with an ex, she specialises in deft one night stands - no second dates required.
But when handsome Irishman Declan isn’t keen to leave her the next morning, Sarah isn’t too impressed.
When he turns up at her best friend’s wedding in Ireland days later, it’s as if the coincidence is meant to be.
Because secretly Sarah really likes Declan as much as he likes her.
This is a cute, easy to read romcom that I could easily imagine the film version of. ❤️
Ummm Bookouture does it again bringing us another amazing book by a wonderful writer because this book was so much fun to read!
So thank you NetGalley, Bookouture|My Favorite Publisher and Walsh for giving me the chance to read and review One Night Only!
This was an astonishing story! And puts a very modern twist on dating. A fun, filled read with engaging characters.
The story feels genuine and believable.
There was the perfect amount of buildup to it with ideal pacing. I am so impressed with the way the book ended this fantastic journey. Each of the characters is well thought out and easy to relate to as well.
This was a quick-paced and very easy, enjoyable book!.
