I received an eARC of A Thousand Salt Kisses Forever by Josie Demuth from NetGalley and Josie Demuth in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
4 stars! This series was enjoyable! It was the perfect ending for Crystal and Llyer and the challenges they faced. If you enjoyed the first two books in this series, you will enjoy this one too.
As the series ends I am left with little satisfaction. I forced myself to finish this book. After reading the first 2 I thought the last one would bring everything together, Instead I felt that the entire story was about Crystal missing out on so many things to be with her mer prince Llyr. Being a mermaid is not all it seemed to be. She struggles to live life on land and sea. Friends and family started questioning Crystal and that made it difficult for her to live the life she wanted to have. The romance was good but not my thing. Definitely feels like the story changed to a romance instead of a fun mermaid tale.
I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in return for an honest review. I thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this title. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Crystal fell in love with a mer-prince named Llyr, and when he kissed her a thousand times, she turned into a mermaid. Even though Crystal wans to stay with Llyr, she is finding it hard to balance her life on land with her life undersea.
I first requested this book not knowing that it was park of a series. Without reading the last two books, I needed to put the pieces together on my own. My review will strictly be based on "A Thousand Salt Kisses Forever" and not the whole series. Overall I did enjoy this book but , of course, I Iwould suggest reading books 1 and 2 first.
