I have been in a reading funk lately, so I was happy that I get the chance to review this book. It was really good. I liked how the book focused on different characters and I think my favorite character was Hank. He was really sweet to Millie. The ending was not what I expected, but it was still good. I am grateful that netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Dinner on Primrose Hill by Jodi Thomas is a wonderful, heartwarming, and enjoyable contemporary romance that is the third book in the Honey Creek series. I loved this!

I really enjoyed reading this easy, relaxing narrative that alternates between three sets of couples all tied in by living or working within the same small-town college setting in Texas. I liked seeing the progression of not only the three relationships, but also the complex histories of each character, how each was trying to find their place in life, and also how each found their respective answers.

There were cute moments that made me chuckle, heartwarming moments, and moments with a tinge of sadness that really tugged at my heart a few times. My favorite characters were Benjamin and Virginia. Their interactions and banter were quick, witty, and spot on. The chemistry was evident (to me at least) from the beginning.

This is the third book, and while I have enjoyed all three, this is by far my favorite. I also really, really loved the ending. It was beyond perfect!!!

5/5 stars
