A thorough and well grounded way to become more active in magic and Witchcraft. This book stands out because it is so very simple and to the point. While still keeping the meanings and teachings of witchcraft activities that almost anyone can do are given to perform. The self initiation was well written and done in a way that doesn't involve lots of stuff from the local new age store. Thats what I really like about this book. I could do any activity with just easy to find ingredients and available tools. Everything is thought of and wow is it practical in its scope and sequence of activities . Holidays and ways to celebrate are given and substitutions are also listed . The seeming simplicity masks the profound results I am having just following directions and applying the lessons to things I want to change. Excellent book and a magic course all in one.

I love how open Whiskey is and honest about their path and how to find your own path whether it’s following theirs or making your own. We are all on our own journey and witchcraft is not a one size fits all like some books I’ve read in the past have pushed. Whiskey acknowledges and encourages finding your own way and making it yours. I felt like I was sitting down at my kitchen table discussing life with an old friend.

A great introduction for the new witch, and full of great information for even the most experienced. This book is a excellent resource on how to practice spell craft in a responsible fashion.

This book will give you some great practical advices, hints and exercises. It will connect you with your own "higher self" in very natural and intuitive way. Explanations about what is magic and how to avoid standard traps when you practice esoteric techniques are excellent. After this book some things and concepts will be very easy to understand, and when you something understand well practice with success is just around the corner!. In just few places in text more relaxed view in needed, (Yes, you replaced drugs with sugar, and it can be also scary, but sugar is not forbidden by the law!), so please relax a little there. In general this is an amazing book with great "feel fine" feeling.

This book is a great book for the baby witch. It actually gives the reader the basic information and extra information about how to get started and how to practice responsibly. I especially like the authors interpretation on cutting the cord and the information on shadow work. A big thank you. I read the book from start to finish and even took notes. Loved the read.
