This is a perfect fit for readers who adore heartwarming, feel-good romance stories that explore the complexities of love, identity, and finding one's forever home, with a dash of wit and humor.
I very much enjoyed this one. I liked the characters and the story.
Like most Harlequin books I have read this one in one sitting.
I give this 4 out of 5.

I like romances that make me laugh and this one did but I am not a fan of ones that don’t have the 2 main characters not meet until half of the book. That just doesn’t work for me, hence for my rating otherwise it was a cute & sweet story.

Social media marketer Nora makes a deathbed promise to Clancy, her elderly landlady: Nora will housesit until Clancy's grandson Ben comes to Melbourne and takes the keys out of Nora's hand. The trouble is, Ben lives in London. He's in the middle of a big work project (forensic accountants are Very Important) and can't find the time to travel. But Nora, a former foster kid who never found a forever home, doesn't stay in one place for long. She's ready to move on.
So she pesters him with text messages and phone calls, which gradually become the best part of his day. Can (mostly) perky Nora convince (mostly) grumpy Ben to take a chance on the unexpected?
This is a funny if quiet book that relies on the charm of the characters. Fortunately, the characters have a lot of charm. I'd describe the novel more as romantic comedy than romance. There aren't a lot of external obstacles other than the distance. Mostly this is an opposites-attract story of two wounded characters who find their perfect fit in each other.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
