There are a couple of things which make writing a full review difficult; the first and most important being that this was a sequel (which I didn't realise upon request) and the other that this book is not what I was expecting at all. It was very informative, but I didn't get lost in the story as much as I'd have liked. The language was quite simplistic (which is probably fair, considering the perspective was from coyotes) and it read a lot younger than I was expecting.
Bella (7) really enjoyed this book, she was able to read it independently and found it easy to follow and engaging. She would recommend to her friends!
I loved "Lost Shadow" even more than "Street Shadows". This sequel in particular was so informative, there's a clear investigation made by Claire Gilchrist to create real characters and such a passion. I love how such a sweet novel explains how humans, even with good intentions, are harmful to the wildlife. The language is simple but captivating, the characters are incredibly loveable. I will be looking forward to the 3rd book!
