I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a real page turner about Kerra her job helping small businesses and more importantly her romance with her childhood sweetheart that they tried to keep secret. Feuds between families can do that however secrets are never secrets for long and she was worried about losing everything. A really lovely story and one Ioved.

Numerous hours after thinking I’ll just read the first chapter and I’m finished! Heartbreaking as well as touching. I didn’t want to put this book down for even a moment. This superbly written story stayed with me long after I had turned the last page… I will read again and again I’m sure.

It was the perfect escape and I will most definitely be reading more from this author soon!

A lovely story but you need to have the read the first book Coming home to Penvennan Cove. A lovely setting of Cornwall. There is a third book which will tie it all up. Kerra is an amazing character . Very clever with her IT. The village likes a gossip .Both Kerra and Ross ‘s fathers need their head banging together . Ripley and Bertie are amazing animals. I love the fence part. Will definitely read the first and third book. This an early review

A lovely book to escape into - made me want to be by the sea but not be in a village where everyone knows your business. Looking forward to what happens next and whether bygones can be bygones.

I'm going to be honest... this book is an overwhelming info dump. Keeping track of everything being thrown at you, especially in the beginning, was a chore. It killed the experience for me.

This is book two in this series. I hadn’t read book one so that may have added to my confusion as to who was who.
There’s quite a few characters and at times I had a hard time keeping them straight. I found the book only mildly interesting. It might help to read book one in the series first.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy

Making Waves at Penvennan Cove
by Linn B. Halton

For once, things are going well for thirty-year-old Kerra Shaw. She has a fulfilling job helping small businesses in the local community, she is within a few minutes walk of all the people she loves best, and most importantly, she has finally got together with her childhood sweetheart, Ross.
It's not all plain sailing, though, because they have to keep their relationship a secret. The feud between their families still rages on, and Kerra doesn't want to pour fuel on its flame and risk losing everything.

I wanted to love the book, I enjoyed some of it. It was difficult at best to like Kerra Shaw. Oddly she seems far younger and a spoiled teen.
I assume the book is just not the genre. I did finish and thank NetGalley, Linn Halton, and the publisher for the advance copy to review with my honest opinion.

I received an advance copy of, Making Waves at Penvennan Cove. This is a cute summer read. I like Kerra and the other characters, and the beautiful setting of Cornwall.

Beautiful descriptions of the village and the community. An enjoyable read but couldn’t really relate to. Fully grown woman sneaking around to hide a relationship from her dad. Overall I enjoyed it but the issues with the main character was a little irritating at times.

Took me a while to get into this one, seems to start out of nowhere. Nicely descriptive of a small village with likeable characters. Feelgood story

This was a nice story but it took a little bit of time for me to get into it. However once I did, I couldn’t put it down

Making Waves At Penvennen Cove is the second story set in a small British town where nothing anyone does can remain private for long, as former childhood crushes Kerra and Ross learn. Their fathers feud once spoiled their relationship before it ever really got started. Now adults, can they prevent a repeat? British author, Linn B. Haltom captures all the nuances of small town living, family drama and abiding friendships in this well written lovely second chance romance. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Enjoyed the book and the characters were likeable, storyline was good but room for improvement, enjoyed the description and felt like I knew the layout of the village due to this.
A feel good book that I enjoyed

The whole ethos of the story is good but Kerra was not my favourite fictional character. Some of her actions were unexplained and random and I still don’t understand why an adult would need to hide a relationship from her father.
The book is worth a read for sure but I did find myself skipping past parts where Kerra felt a little random

The overall story itself of this book is good. What bothered me is Kerra and her antics.
Definitely not acting her age, the fact that she had to hide her relationship from her father, all while whining, complaining and just being irritating right down to my soul...
This was not the book for me.

Thank you NetGalley, Aria & Aries and Author for this ebook copy!

Making Waves at Penvennan Cove was a quick read for me.
I honestly believe this could have been better, but it was worth the read.
I really liked the story and I just wished it could have had more to it.
The character Kerra was a little over dramatic at times....
The writing was great also. It was just the overall story to be honest!
Overall I enjoyed it.....

And I can't thank NG, Publisher ANF Author for the chance to read and review this book!

I found this irritating. You are a grown woman hiding your relationship from your dad. And everyone you know. I found the main character conceited and now relatable. Definitely not my thing.
