I have read and loved every book in this series. This latest one did not disappoint. We follow the family during the holidays and a hurricane. The novel gives insight to the different lives and it makes the reader feel drawn in.

I am so glad I got to revisit Peachtree Bluff. The entire family returns for Thanksgiving and Christmas and endures a hurricane but comes together to help each other and the town. I can't wait for the next book by this author.

It was nice to spend some time in Peachtree Bluff with familiar characters. Kristiy Woodson Harvey had a clever way of writing in some of the history of these characters so you didn't feel lost. It also helped me to remember the past books I read.
This was a really great way to start my holiday reading. KWH knows how to weave a story that keeps me wanting to read even when life is calling me to do other things. A wonderful escape! The ending was everything I wanted. I hope we get to visit Peachtree Bluff again.
As always, I am looking forward to her next book.

I was accepted for this NetGalley ARC right at the same time my area was hit by Hurricane Ida. I actually read this one as I was evacuated in my RV because our home was without power for 3 weeks lost-hurricane. So this one hit very close to home. Overall I really enjoyed the book and I was excited to see another Peachtree Bluff story to see how the Murphy family was doing. I do think the hurricane details were a little off, but that is also because I was in the middle of it… so I could be a little jaded. Overall, a great read.

A reckless act by teenage Vivi ignites the flame that burns under this lovely story of family and second chances. A late season hurricane is bearing down on Peachtree Bluff, the Murphy sisters are scattered,, and it's the holiday season. Everyone has a chance to have their story told here and if you. like me, are new to the series, know that this makes it easier to keep everyone straight and feel part of the novel. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. It's a good read which kept me engaged.

Another great Peachtree Bluff story. This one may be my favorite. A fun book to read. I always enjoy Kristy’s writing and look forward to what is next. If you enjoyed the first three in this series you will love this one.
Thanks for an advanced copy from netgalley and the publisher.

Glad to be able to return to Peachtree Bluff and visit with the Murphy women and their growing families. With this book, as in many books, a lot happens in a short period of time.
Beginning near Thanksgiving, the weather forecasts are calling for a late Atlantic hurricane. Many people not living in an Atlantic Ocean coastal state do not realize that our hurricane season does go into November, even though we do not usually have big ones that late. However, this year (in the book) was different for Peachtree Bluff and try as she might Ansley (Mom of the Murphy clan) cannot keep the hurricane away. But, she and Jack were supposed to be going on an Australian cruise right after Thanksgiving and a hurricane simply did not fit into the plans but we all know that happens to the best-laid plans!
With three adult daughters and their families visiting for Thanksgiving, things are a madhouse. One of the biggest problems is daughter Caroline's teenage daughter who is not dealing well ith her parents' divorce. I do have to say that the teen girl was well described and her actions were well-written by KWH. I feel sure she had memories of friends who might bave pulled some of the stunts Vivi did. But for a 15-year-old girl, her friends are vital and boys are even more important. While she can keep up with her friends back in NYC, she discovers there are people worth meeting in Peachtree Bluff while visiting with her family. Her mother, Caroline, is still working through her feelings with the divorce and an ex-husband who has definitely moved on. Her feelings were done well and the behavior of her ex seemed too familiar to this reader.
We also got to catch up with Sloane, the artist, and her husband, Adam, who had been in our recent war in Afghanistan. Seeing that they have worked through things, including PTSD, was a nice part to read. And of course, we have Emerson, the actress, who along with boyfriend Kyle and daughter Carter, had a great deal going on with both her career and personal life. Both of these families seem to be in happy places.
This book had several stories going on with the POV switching between characters. It was good to see how each person reacted to the events as they moved along. With this family, there are so many traditions and memories they all hold. The town is one of those "Gilmore Girls" towns where everyone knows each other, quite like some of made-for-tv novels recently. All the traditions around the holidays are attended and supported by the entire town, and everyone in the Murphy family have wonderful memories of it all. It is rather hard to imagine this life but I think it would be nice.
While reading the book, it goes without saying that the family, all of them, are quite well-off financially. That does make life a bit easier when you need to suddenly be able to make a big trip or get hurricane damage repaired in a month's time. There are things that happen that the reader realizes not all people can afford to do but it is nice to see families who can make things happen when they want to do so.
Another nice thing about returning to Peachtree Bluff is seeing how people can connect with people from their past. Haven't we all read the stories of high school sweethearts reconnecting 40 years later? Or, how many of us wonder whatever happened to....?
And finally, while I know this bo0k takes place in Peachtree Bluff, Georgia (I think), in each of the books, I always see the Beaufort/Morehead City area of NC. The descriptions of the town and the waterfront homes remind me of the intercoastal waterway where you have beautiful homes on the ocean and sound side. While I do realize the author lives in that area, it is one of my favorite areas of North Carolina and I think when we read, we tend to picture familiar locations in our mind.
I did receive this book from both #Netgalley and #Goodreads as advance reader copies. It was such a nice treat to be able to read this book early. #GalleryBooks

Beautiful written story. First I read by this author and of course the series. At first being new to Peachtree Bluff I was having a hard time keeping the characters straight. Simple solution was I made myself a family tree. Why I wanted to read this book was the hurricane factor, I lived thru the hurricanes in 2004 and could relate. There is a a special bonding with neighbors and friends during a hurricane that was captured by the author. The storylines of the various family members kept my interest throughout and now I will backtrack and read the other books in the series. Always thrilled when I found a new author, well done Kristy!
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.

Oh it was good to be back in Peachtree Bluff! I loved the first three books of this series, but I think this was easily my favorite. It's so cozy - just like a warm hug! Following the stories of the characters we have come to know so well was wonderful and comforting. There are certainly bad things that happen in every one's lives and things don't go according to plan, but when you have the love of family and a great place to call home, you can see how things often work out for the best. 4.5 stars.

I love the ladies of peachtree bluff! I was so excited to learn that there'd be a Christmas book, it was like receiving a gift myself. Warm, compassionate and honest Kristy pulls her readers into the family and saves you a seat at the table.

I love the Peachtree Bluff books. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is the continuation with the family and their trials and tribulations, but also their joys and the love they share for each other. There is a hurricane on the way and another storm in the form of a teenage girl that feels betrayed by her family members at every turn (Oh the angst!).
This book really does have it all--adorable children, the not-so-adorable teenager, an ages old family home, a new home recovered in a divorce, a hunky adorable teenage boy to try to soothe the teenage girl angry vibes, a grandfather who isn't really a grandfather (or is he?) and last but not least, an entire town of people running all over exchanging coffees because they don't want to tell the new owner of the coffee shop that he's screwing up the deliveries. But then KWH added in all the family love, romantic love and Christmas!!! Seriously, what could be better?
Thanks to Gallery Books and NetGalley for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

Interesting Blend Of Gilmore Girls, Home Alone, Hurricane Survival, and Hallmark Christmas. I'm pretty sure this has one of the more interesting premises of any Hallmark Christmas type tale I've ever seen, one that blends elements of Home Alone with a tale of a post-Thanksgiving major hurricane along the Georgia coast before transitioning into a more "traditional" / "typical" Hallmark Christmas type tale. For those that don't mind coming into an existing world, you'll be able to follow everything perfectly fine here. For those others that can absolutely never have any prior book's events revealed before reading that book... well... this is actively marketed as Book Number 4. :D A solid if standard-ish tale of its type (re: Hallmark Christmas), this one is told from five female perspectives - a grandmother, her three daughters, and one of those daughters' own teenage daughter - and even the various guys involved here are given solid characterizations and never belittled, which can at times be a problem with other authors. (This is my first book from Harvey.) Indeed, it is actually with the involvement of one of the guys in particular where the Gilmore Girls elements *really* come to play, with some recurring hilarity. Overall a truly solid book within its type, and a good break for those looking to break away from their own situations during the holidays. Very much recommended.

Christmas at Peachtree Bluff is like having a reunion with old friends. The book is the fourth novel in Kristy Woodson Harvey's Peachtree Bluff series. I loved revisiting The Murphy women- Ansley, the matriarch, and her three grown daughters, Caroline, Sloane, and Emerson. Caroline's daughter, Vivi, is now a teenager with her own angst and issues. These women are all strong characters who continue to evolve as they face changes and unforseeable events in their lives. The story is told from their 4 different points of view. Add in a delightful Christmas theme and Ms. Harvey has written another masterful five star novel. I highly recommend reading this book, as well as, the entire series! I loved it! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

Refreshing and a tad crazy.

As I was reading this book, I kept thinking I knew these people, and sure enough, I had read one of the prior books. Unlike the other book, I did feel a bit lost starting this one. There was not much in terms of the tie in's some author's do, other than reminding you of some of the bigger events. This one seemed even a bit more crazy than the last story I read as it includes all of the family, and some of the ex's too! Whew.
But underneath the wild, crazy family drama comes a heartwarming story of strong ties that binds the family. Forgiveness and fierce connection that catches you off guard. Plus, Harvey gives us a few budding romances that are so sweet and a much needed break from the swirling activity and issues.
All of this is wrapped up into a perfect coastal town with the right amount of the Christmas spirit to lift your mood, bring a smile on your face, and leave you wondering how you can move there too. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is the epitome of Southern spirit and a delightful women's fiction that begs to be read this season!
But before you grab up this one, do yourself a favor and read at least one of the prior books for the full effect!

Thank you so much to Gallery Books for sending me an arc in exchange for my honest review. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff by Kristy Woodson Harvey is one of those special books that takes you back to a place of nostalgia. This is the fourth installment of the series and one I felt was a really great addition. The third book does wrap up nicely at a good spot to end but adding this one really put the exclamation point at the end of the sentence. I don't believe the author even knows if she will write more for the series but if this was the last one I am really happy with the resolve.

Thank you to @gallerybooks for my ARC of Christmas in Peachtree Bluff!
Pub date: October 26th
Series: Peachtree Bluff #4
In one sentence: Ansley Murphy and her three daughters have a mess on their hands when a hurricane devastates their beloved Peachtree Bluff - but a little Christmas spirit might help them rebuild the town and their family.
Do I need to read the other books in the series first? I don’t think you have to, but I would still recommend it! Even just reading book 1 (Slightly South Of Simple) gives you a great sense of the characters’ backstories.
I love books about family, especially the relationships between sisters (maybe because I am an only child!) This book just filled my heart with joy - you can feel the love across the generations, from grandmother Ansley to granddaughter Vivi. The author doesn’t shy away from complexities in family relationships, and the characters felt so real to me. I also loved the romance storylines - these Murphy women have met some swoonworthy men!
I really needed an escapist read, and this one fit the bill perfectly! The author’s note mentioned that she thought this book would be a perfect pick me up in our stressful COVID world, and I totally agree!
Although I’m not ready for Christmas music yet, bring on the heartwarming Christmas books!

It’s lovely to be able to return to Peachtree Bluff! A lot has changed for Ansley and her daughters, but some things haven’t changed—the fierce love of this family and the charm of this coastal town. I loved catching up with everyone, these women who I’ve cared about for so long, spending time with them during the holidays. All of them are navigating changes in their lives, but when the biggest change of all comes along—Hurricane Pearl—threatening everything they hold dear, they must once again rely on their love and unwavering support of each other to get through. Small town charm, a heart-warming story, delightful characters, and the holidays all add up to the perfect book for the holidays!

I LOVE all of Kristy Woodson Harvey’s books, but “Christmas in Peachtree Bluff” is extra special!! Her delightful book created the perfect Christmas and family story that made me extremely joyful and ready to celebrate the holidays in Peachtree Bluff!! I am looking forward to her Christmas event in Beaufort very much❤️ This book is PERFECT for getting everyone in the holiday spirit and includes many intriguing plot twists.

This novel is a continuation of Harvey's Peachtree Bluff series follows the Murphy family through a Christmas time hurricane. The family has come together to celebrate Christmas but a series of events leaves them scrambling to survive a hurricane. As they find ways to survive and rescue those who need help, the story is filled with family drama and Christmas spirit. It is an enjoyable read and a good addition to the Peachtree Bluff series. I think the readers could use more stories of these characters so I hope Kristy Woodson Harvey is not quite finished with them yet.

Omg Omg Omg. Thank you Gallery Books and Netgalley for the early copy.
OMG is all I can say. I was so excited to hear Kristy Woodson Harvey was writing another Peachtree Bluff novel.
I could not wait to get my hands on it. I live the characters in this series.
While I was expecting a more Christmas theme. But this story was amazing. It was deep but not to deep. It showed struggle and triumph of the family. The struggles and the happiness.
The story makes me happy.
