Can I just join Bergman family? Please? I love how they love each other and take care of one another. And I also can say enough about how Chloe Liese writes such human characters. They aren’t caricatures, they are so real with their worries and mistakes.

A little matchmaking gets Rooney and Axel together at the A frame. And then they join in a marriage of convenience to get an inheritance. The entire time I was smiling about how these two have been circling each other for ages and now the close proximity is helping them face their feelings. They made themselves communicate even when it was scary and uncomfortable.

The addition of Henry and Skugga along with visits from the Bergman brothers made for some wonderfully humorous moments.

Rooney needs to get away from all the stress of life and to make some decisions that will largely affect her future. Her best friend, Willa, recommends an escape to the vacant Bergman vacation property. Only it's not available and her long-time crush, Axel, is nearby causing all kinds of mayhem on her heart. Meanwhile, Axel has to get married in order to receive an inheritance and Rooney's there making the decision awfully convenient.
I love a good marriage of convenience which is so rarely seen in a contemporary romance. With some unrequited feelings on both sides, it made for a believably enjoyable read.
With You Forever got to me right in the feels. It's my new favorite Bergman book and I don't know how Chloe topped Ever After Always, which felt relatable for me sitting next to my SO of almost 15 years. We have a neurodivergent child and while she isn't Axel, his story showed similarities that hit me. I appreciated how Chloe shared in a profound way about Axel's autism and I know will be held close to my heart.
Steam: crackling and open door
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for the advanced copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

"I want to kiss you so badly, it's obliterated every other thought in my brain. There's nothing but wanting it. Wanting you."

The Bergman brothers is one my favourite romance serie and i seriously feel like it's so underrated.
- i'm loving the representation as always with Chloe Liese we have autism rep and mental health rep but also disability rep, it's done so respectfully in my opinion and i love that we get to see these people get a romance
- another gold star to Chloe Liese is the way she writes and talks about sex in her books, characters talk about it so freely there's no judgment it's sexy it's beautiful and so damn tender and at the same time realistic af it's amazing
- i didn't get the 5 stars favourite read kind of feeling like the first two in this serie but it's still totally worth it really amazing romance with characters that feel real and make you emotional and really attached to them and their relationships
- Viggo is my favourite i just love him too much
I obviously can't wait for the next one who i'm pretty sure is an M/M romance !!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley

tags: m/f relationship, contemporary romance, sweetest family ever, adorable siblings interactions, autism rep, disability rep specifically the mc suffers from a chronic illness called ulcerative colitis, there's a cute dog and a cute kitten, so many cute and romantic moments, marriage of convenience trope, the sex scenes are hot and feel so authentic they talk before and during and both express like their preferences with no judgment it's great
content warning: neurodivergent character doen't think he's enough to be in a relationship for a good part of the book

I have been waiting for Rooney and Axels story and it was better than I could have imagined. I absolutely adore this series. I love the Bergmans they are just so authentic feeling. I liked how vulnerable Rooney was in With You Forever. We get a completely different side of her, a much softer and raw side to her character. I think it's great how Chloe writes real and authentic characters because life isn't insta perfect and this makes me really connect with the story and the people in them. This was a delicious slow burn marriage of convenience and quite possible one of my favourite MOC stories I've read. Cant wait for more from this series.

A very different kind of romance for an unique couple. Rooney has medical problems that have her taking a leave from law school and looking at her life, a staycation at her best friend's boyfriend's family cabin should fit the bill. Axel is a hermit, preferring to live by himself but his friends don't seem to give it to him. A simple kiss during a game of charades has both reeling, it's so into his head that Axel can't paint, well nothing he wants to sell. Rooney's surprised appearance in his family's cabin puts a wrench in his solitude. Rooney and Axel take baby steps as they feel out their feelings.

This is the perfect romance to curl up with this Fall. I’m talking A-frame cabin, crunchy leaves, a hunk in flannel, and the scent of bonfire in the air. If this is up your alley- read this book! Even if those aren’t up your alley- read this book!

I’ve raved about these books before and the newest installment is no exception. I LOVE the Bergman family! These books feature neurodiverse characters and are written so eloquently. @chloe_liese is an Own Voices writer and brings characters to life with her robust narrative. With You Forever was cozy, charming, and oh-so-lovely. Every time I read a book in this series I think it’s my favorite but really, I just love them all! I can’t recommend this series enough. They are romance books but can’t be put in that box alone because what the author is doing by educating the readers with her authentic, inclusive characters is nothing short of magnificent. Thank you @chloe_liese for bringing the Bergman family to us. ♥️

All of the stars for this newest installment! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just adored this book so much. This is the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series. It can be read as a stand alone, but may be better enjoyed as part of the series. I can’t get enough of this series, I have loved reading about each of the Bergman Brothers.

Chloe is such an amazing writer. She has a way of getting you hooked on the book right from the start. Once I started this book, I did not want to put it down. I ended up finishing this book in one day. This is the perfect romance read for the fall. Between the cozy cabins, hiking in the woods, and the steamy romance! If you love a slow burn, marriage of convenience, and steamy romance, you will love this book. If you haven’t read a book by Chloe Liese yet, what are you waiting for?!

I loved this happy surprise!

I’ll be upfront, this series has been hit or miss for me (or at least less of a hit in some instances). The first book was golden, book 2 was good but not book-1-wonderful, and then book 3 was meh, comparatively,, so I was nervous about this one. But, my misgivings were misplaced. I LOVED this, I loved Rooney. I adore a sunshine & grumpy one novel, and this was a fantastic, neurodiverse, marriage of convenience combination.

This book....what can i say?!
Alex and Rooney i think are my favourite in the Bergman Brother series! Chloe has just gotten so so good at throwing her characters at me and them latching on until they are deep down pulling on my heart strings!!
This read was everything i expected it to be and more. Getting to know Alex and his personality and how he reacts to things and Rooney with her chronic illness and the impact it has on her.
Their love for each other is palpable. Even though things start off in the opposite order- marriage of convenience and that little thing called love!
Wonderful read and definitely one of my top 5 of this year!!
Chloe is a brilliant storyteller!
Thank you to Netgalley and to Chloe for sending me this amazing book!

I cannot even explain how much I adore these books. Yes, they are rom coms but they are rom coms with INCLUSION. Book one will always hold a special place in my heart with Ryders’s story but I adore each and every one of these books.
.
I loved this one just as much. Axel is on the autism Spectrum and while some may see him as quiet grump Rooney sees him as so much more. I was thrilled to see Rooney and Axel have some of their own happiness and I am always happy to catch up with any of the Bergman clan. I have become invested in this family and will be here for each and every book.

Thank you Net Galley for a copy of With You Forever by Chloe Liese. This book was fantastic with very relatable characters. This whole series is swoon- worthy and is one of my favorites. Axel is a deep thinking, brooding, beautiful man who is on the spectrum. I couldn't love this character more!

Although this was my most anticipated read of the series it was an okay read and i didn't enjoy it as much as the first two.

I have loved all of the Bergman Brothers books in this series and With You Forever was certainly not an exception. First of all, I adore Rooney. She's sunshine-y throughout the books, but when we meet her as the heroine of her won story, we learn that there's a lot she's kept sort of hidden under the surface because she doesn't want her friends to worry about her. She's suffering from a chronic illness, ulcerative colitis, I think, and it's a pain in the butt. Literally and figuratively. She's also a law student who has taken a semester off to focus on her health and some of the things she says about law school had me emphatically nodding. Law school can be hard on a person's body. Anyway, all that to say, I love Rooney. She's a nerd and a science geek and it's adorable the way she is with animals and with Skylar. And we cannot forget Axel. Grumpy Axel, who, tbh, isn't so much grumpy as he is taciturn and reluctant to speak if he doesn't have to because sometimes it's hard for him to figure out what to say. But when he does speak and when he does something to show his love for Rooney, his family, or his friends, it's beyond precious. He is a sweetheart on every level.

To the surprise of no one familiar with this series, the Bergman's enjoyed some machinations to ensure that Rooney and Axel would wind up (a) sharing a kiss during charades and (b) that now, months later, Rooney would crash Axel's time at the A-Frame. Then there is the meddling from Axel's friends Bennett and Preston, the town busy body, and Skylar. But the most intense meddling in Axel's life comes in the form of money as an inheritance tied up in him marrying someone. That inheritance is what leads to Axel and Rooney entering a marriage of convenience with only platonic feelings. Right? Obviously not.

The journey of husband and wife in name only to actual romance blooming between Rooney and Axel was delightful, sweet, bittersweet, and sometimes funny. This exchange absolutely broke me:

"You'll never learn your lesson."
"And what's that?"
"That I'm not the kind of person you count on to catch you."

But there's levity too, in the book, with two animals eventually entering the picture. But both Rooney and Axel have some issues to work through and honestly, the gesture at the end? Perfection. I don't really have the words to convey my love for this book or why I think you should pick it up. All I can say is that I think you should because it's absolutely wonderful.

While this was a solid installment, this was also my least favorite of the series so far. It’s definitely not a bad book by means (I did give it 4 stars after all), but while I liked Rooney and Axel, I didn’t love them.

I also think the pacing was slow at times and their third act breakup just felt forced to me. I personally could have used more interaction with the entire family as well as scenes involving the book club the brothers formed in one of the earlier books.

The romance in this is really sweet, though, and I loved the animals that made their way into Axel and Rooney’s lives. 🥰🥰🥰

Chloe Liese knows how to draw me in with pure Bergman goodness. In this one, we get to see a happily ever after for Axel Bergman: artist, semi-professional recluse, and official Dog Dad even if he won't admit it. The other half of our #couplegoals is Rooney: ambitious law student, would-be nudist, and ray of sunshine. Their sexual tension has been in the background of previous books and continues in earnest here with a marriage of convenience and some seriously forced proximity. Despite the tension, I would describe it as low on angst, a tender-hearted emotional upswing even though the characters struggle, make mistakes, and get in their feelings. The book is also a love letter to the A-Frame in Washington that has been a home away from home for this reader throughout the whole series (waiting for my invite, Bergmans).

In terms of romance, Axel leaves Rooney these cute notes and doodles signed by the/his/their dog and I melted into a happy puddle at the mere idea of it. I dissolved into swoony sighs as both characters cared for each other during health scares and protected each other's hearts. I was left cackling over the couple's panicked attempts to hide their wedding rings when family came calling, trying to keep their secret, "nonromantic" partnership under wraps.

On a serious front, Liese always knows how to bring real-life struggles and inclusivity into her stories. This one covers body image, mental & physical health, neurodivergence, and kink with an emphasis on open communication and making sure everyone feels safe. In terms of body image, Rooney is what I can report 2000s-era Seventeen magazine would call a pear shape (same), which is not commonly considered ideal, so I loved seeing it recognized and appreciated on the page. Rooney's relationship with her body is also affected by her chronic pain from IBS. The narrative highlights the way society paints her condition as embarrassing or impolite, which is not only absurd but hurtful. Axel's needs and journey with self-acceptance as a person with autism also shine through.

This romance is a crackling fire on a crisp fall day, so grab a blanket, a warm beverage, and a snuggly animal to enjoy this book at its full potential. Thanks to Chloe Liese and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. It's out now!

I liked this! It was a quick and fun read and I appreciated the representation. But it wasn't my favourite in the series. Still, 3.5 stars!

After the peek at Rooney and Axel's chemistry in the previous book, I was so excited to get to their book. From the moment this book started, Rooney and Axel's feelings for each other were so adorable and I just loved them. They really liked each other, but both of them were freaked out and neither of them acted on it. Now, Rooney is invited to stay at the Bergman's A-frame, ends up having to stay with Axel, and then finds herself entering a marriage of convenience with him so that he can access money left by a relative in order to fix up the family home. This romance was super sweet and I loved how we got both autism representation and chronic illness representation with both characters. I do think the plot was a little slow and I wish a little more would have happened outside of them staying together, but I really loved how they fell for each other and how they had to communicate to see where it was leading. The mutual pining was adorable and I just wanted them to get together already. As always, we got the amazing family aspect of the Bergmans and adorable characters that will wrap themselves around your heart.

Chloe Liese does it again! I loved this book and meeting Axel and Rooney! I appreciate how Chloe provides us with real-life characters who are genuinely relatable. Axel and Rooney learn to find a safe place within each other in this marriage of convenience romance trope. Their romance is authentic with so much depth. I'm a forever fan of Chloe Liese's writing and her as I human. Thank you, Chloe, for creating this Bergman Book Series with characters who reflect others with neurodiversity, chronic illness, loss, grief, anxiety, depression, physical disabilities, and so much more!
