Sully has a bedtime routine and it must be done this way each time. With Gramma's help, will Sully's bedtime be perfect?
Although I liked the story of Sully's bedtime routine, I was not a fan of the illustrations. I did like the whimsical aspects of the drawings, but the consistency between the pages was the problem. The faces from page to page were slightly different, which was an issue for me.
The story itself was good with a cute message. Kids always thrive with consistency and this book is a good example of that. Gramma Puts Sully to Bed would be a good addition to any children's library and I would recommend it for that reason.
Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy of Gramma Puts Sully to Bed by NetGalley and the publisher, E.B. Books. The decision to review this children's book was entirely my own.

This is a sweet, gentle book about Sully's bedtime ritual. He's obviously well-loved and cared-for, so while he's developed his own steps to ease himself into bedtime, he's supported by his Gramma and doesn't appear to experience any major nerves about bedtime or the transition.
This might make a nice meditative book to help a pre-K child unwind before bed, especially if it's repeated enough that the child can anticipate the steps to come.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Thank you to the author, Concierge Marketing Inc. and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great idea, making bedtime routines and rituals the centerpiece of the story. I also liked the fact that the story is told from the child's POV - this is certainly something that could be read with young children to foster a structured bedtime routine. Unfortunately, the author slips up a few times and loses the child's POV, which should have been caught in editing. The illustrations are well-done, with enough detail to keep a child's attention, but not too fussy.
