Lizzie Oullette was an outcast in her small Maine community of Copper Falls. Not only did Lizzie grow up at the town dump that her dad owned, but many in town believe that she ruined her husband's life when they got married young. Lizzie always had bigger dreams and renting out their lake home was going to help her reach her dreams. Until one fall morning, Lizzie's body is found at the lake house and Dwayne is nowhere to be found. Detective Ian Bird doesn't care about Lizzie's history with the town, he just wants to find out what happened to Lizzie. His investigation takes him to the city and to the most recent guest at Lizzie's lake house. Adrienne Richards and her husband, Ethan, are infamous for their own reasons, but what role did they have in the death of Lizzie Oullette? And where is Dwayne?
No One Will Miss Her was one of those fast-paced novels with so many shocking twists I nearly dropped my Kindle. The perception around Copper Falls was that Lizzie was trash and nothing but trouble. The reality is, Lizzie is just a soft-hearted animal lover that always had dreams bigger than Copper Falls. Adrienne Richards is a bored, rich housewife who has been exiled by society because of her husband's wrongdoings. She looks for entertainment in the cruelest of ways. The book is told from different perspectives with a series of flashbacks, but it paints a very clear, shocking picture. Things were not as they appeared. CLICK HERE FOR SPOILERS. I have to be very careful with saying more because I don't want to spoil the twist for you, but it was one that I didn't see coming.
Bottom Line - Kat Rosenfield did what very little authors can do these days - shock me. No One Will Miss Her is a thrill ride from start to finish. And Kat Rosenfield is a fresh voice to me in a genre that has been desperate for something fresh. I can't wait to see what she does next.

Thank you to NetGalley for the book for a review.
Lizzie Oullette has never been accepted in her own community and now she is dead. Her husband Dwayne is missing. No one in town would really blame him for getting rid of Lizzie, considering her background.
Adrienne Richards is preparing her escape. Her husband has always brought her trouble. She is always cleaning up his messes.
Kat Rosenfield wrote a well-paced thriller with twists and turns keeping the reader on their toes. She proves that most people only see what they want to see.
This book grabbed me right at the beginning and took me on a ride that kept me guessing the whole time. I would recommend this book!
An awesome suspense book. I was surprised at how much this drew me in. I have been raving about this book.
Didn't see that coming! Refreshing, brilliant plot twister with a righteous ending. No neatly tied up with a bow crime solving, only a glimmer of suspicion with the "herione" experiencing some regret, but not enough.
What an interesting book especially it takes place up in Maine called town called copper falls. It is now a depressed town at 1 time it had Mills and stuff for people could actually work.. Lizzie whose father ran the junkyard was always picked on by her and people at school.. She got mixed up with these people from Boston because they were renting a home shoot owned on a lake their name is recalled a DRI ENNE and E came up with her husband. Things started to go really wrong because her Her husband named D WAY NE Who was married to LIZZE. And how this person This person named Andrea who came up came from Boston when Lizzie was really impressed with her she really wanted to be like her. Lizzie had a lot of setbacks in life marrying a drug addict losing a baby and it really not looking forward to anything in life. Andrea's husband had something wrong too because he stole money and things got really sour when you would go back-and-forth to Boston and leave her there.... It's detective Call bird. Who is investigating the murder of Lizzie Went to Boston to find out what was really going on. More to the story but I don't want to really give it away you'll have to figure it out yourself
Wow! So happy to have received an ARC of the audiobook version of this book. I enjoyed it from beginning to end- well written and kept me on the edge of my seat - never saw the twist coming! Additionally the actors who performed for the audiobook version were phenomenal. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed listening to an advanced copy of this book! It was dark and twisty, not my usual type of read, but I couldn't wait to find out what happened! It was really good!
3.5 stars! I enjoyed the twists and turns of this thriller, and it was fun to watch it unfold through the narrator's point of view. It was hard to put down and I found myself thinking about the story and the characters during the day, and wondering where it was all going to end up. Which says a lot - who doesn't love getting caught up in a story? Fun read.
This is hard for me to review. The book deserves a high rating for execution and writing - 4+ but I personally didn't enjoy reading it so for my enjoyment I would give it 2 stars. This is how I arrived at my 3 star rating!
There were some plot points in this novel that I found completely unreasonable. I couldn't believe that detectives who are trained in identification and reading suspects would not be able to see the difference between two people. I also had trouble believing that there wouldn't be some DNA testing or further exploration of Lizzie's remains. Wouldn't a coroner notice the glue? The blending identities - or being able to assume the identity of another is at the heart of the plot so that really posed a problem for my analytical brain.
The other issue which I had, unique to me perhaps, is that these characters were all such unlikeable people. I couldn't find myself feeling any empathy or emotion or care at all what would happen to any of them. I personally feel that sympathetic characters are the basis for my emotional investment and interest in a story. Again, this is not something that would bother all readers but explains my less than eager desire to keep reading.
This novel would appeal to many readers who appreciate mystery and twists, dark subject matter and manipulative characters.
In a book filled with people no one will miss if they are gone, a local woman is found dead in a small-town. At the same time, a fire is set in a local junkyard. The police have their hands full and local authorities call in the state police. Suspects center on Lizzie’s husband who has disappeared and a wealthy Boston woman who has had an affair with the husband. You think you know where this book is going, but you don’t. With characters deeply developed and a variety of disliked people, the story makes for one of the best psychological thrillers of the year. And the ending is a real surprise. The audio version is told from the view of multiple characters and includes a different narrator for each voice. Hearing the variety of voices makes following the storyline so much easier.
I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review..
What an interesting premise for a book. The story was told from several points of view, but they were all easy to follow and added well to the story. It was a pretty fast-paced story. Some of it was a little implausible but it was still a good storyline.
I enjoyed the narrators. All emoted well and it was easy to tell the characters apart. 3.5
This is one of the first fiction books I’ve listened to. I enjoyed having multiple narrators for the different characters and found the audio easy to follow.
However, I figured out the twist about 30% in. Looking back, I can’t even say how I figured it out.
That being said, I enjoyed the story and did finish the audio to see how it would play out.
If you enjoy thrillers, I’d definitely recommend this one.
Absolutely brilliant tale of two women, both devious, both resourceful, both hated. Lizzy is a pariah in her small resort town for destroying the potential career of a promising athelete by marrying him; Adrienne, married to a hedge fund crook is blamed as much as he, not because she is necessarily complicit in his crime, but for her cool arrogance and lack of empathy for her husband's victims. Both women are cool under pressure, but one is dead and the other has to decide how to stay alive. As twisty a plot as one might hope for. Brilliantly narrated by three of the best, Cassandra Campbell, Sophie Amoss, Chris Andrew Ciulla. A fine listen!
No One Will Miss Her by Kat Rosenfield is a psychological thriller. I loved this story, I listened to the auto version of this book. The narrator was great and I couldn’t put it down, because I wanted to know how it ended. This book kept me guessing and there was a shocking twist at the end. Thanks to Netgalley for my arc for my honest opinion.
A solid mystery with a new twist. This story has it all. Instagram influencers, small town- close-minded locals, rich elites and a mysterious death. Though the ending was not hard to gress,, the book was still solidly entertaining.
Y’all, this book was crazy! Much like my experience with The Last Mrs. Parrish, I could see the twists coming, but I still couldn’t wait to hear how exactly the author would lay them out and I couldn’t stop listening. In the end, like with so many thrillers, parts of the story were totally far fetched but kept my attention all the same and kept me on the edge of my seat. I should also put out a content warning—there’s a good bit of language used, gory murder descriptions, etc. so if that’s not your thing or little ears will be around, be forewarned and maybe read the print book so you can skip through those bits.
• Thank you to BookClubGirl, NetGalley, and HarperAudio for the opportunity to read a free early audiobook edition of this title!
This was an engrossing thriller. There is a major twist about halfway through. I didn’t see it coming, so brava to the author. But once the twist came and went, it was a little lackluster for me. I think I wanted more of that fast-paced psychological intrigue. The writing style was good, three POVs to help with character development, though none of the characters are very likable. I give this 3.5 stars, rounded up for the excellent narration.
Though NetGalley, please edit or fix the way you upload files to the NG Shelf because all of the audio ARCs I’ve received have been tinny/had an echo to them and the sound quality isn’t good and can take away from the story and narration.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Audio for this advanced reader’s audio copy.
This book certainly captures you from the opening scene as long as you aren't squeamish! It definitely has some twists and turns that I wasn't expecting and left me guessing.
If you are like suspense books I would definitely recommend picking this one up!
Fantastic listen. Great story. Thrilling performance. Full of twists and turns we all enjoy and look for in this genre.
