There is something almost magical about Where Things Touch. It is a lyrical essay, interwoven with prose poems, that deals with beauty in all its various forms. From the perspective of a physician-in-training, Orang considers her clinical encounters in relation to beauty, and further reflects upon topics such as intimacy, queerness, home, memory, love, and other aspects of human existence.
