Benedict, Alaska is a place where people go to disappear. Author Beth Rivers has been living there for a few years now, so she’s shocked when her mother, Mill, shows up for a visit. The last Beth knew, Mill was looking for Beth’s kidnapper somewhere in the continental U.S. Beth doesn’t have time to worry because an abused woman shows up in town and then her husband is found dead. Is she the killer or is it the other stranger in town, the census taker? Readers should read the earlier books in this series to avoid confusion

Paige Shelton's Dark Night is the newest addition to her series set in the remote town in Alaska which is full of secrets. I love this series! Lots happens in Dark Night and I'm already impatient to see what comes next.
