Not as good as the original series, but the same style, characters, interactions, action and worldbuilding that I crave and love in Lara Adrian's books.

Edge of Dawn takes place 20 years after Darker After Midnight. It continues the story of the children of the Breed warriors.

At the end of Darker After Midnight, the vampires were exposed by Dragos. I really did enjoy this book.

I was a bit iffy on this one when I heard that Edge of Dawn was going to take place 20 years in the future, and feature an adult Mira & Kellan. However, the story ended up blowing all my doubts out of the water! I was captivated from the first page and loved every second of this vivid, complex, intense, and action-packed tale. Kellan and Mira navigate a tremulous road filled with angst, despair, tension, and love. Edge of Dawn breathes new life into the long-standing Midnight Breed series that was exciting and unforgettable. I can't wait to see what happens next!
