I love any Fear street they can do no wrong. This one did not disappoint. I ended up reading this one physically instead of audio.Every time I read a fear street I am transported back to my childhood. No matter how corny the story I love it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book, in exchange for a honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to listen to this audiobook.Give Me a K-I-L-L is the 6th book in the Fear Street Relaunch series. You can read it as a standalone book. The villain was pretty apparent to me.Not the best story by RL Stine.

More Fear Street Greatness. I loved the series as A kid and I was so excited to return to fear street. So good. Highly recommend.

These audio books definitely take me back to being a kid and watching are you afraid of the dark. We are with the shady side cheerleaders. A new instalment to get ready for the upcoming fear street. The reader had a good voice for this spooky story. They knew exactly when to give inflection, whispers and needed pauses. Don't listen to this alone in a dark building lol.

OK, full disclosure: this wasn’t my favorite RL Stine book, but it still transported me back to the days when I was giddy to find one I hadn’t read before. I enjoyed this, for the sake of nostalgia if nothing else. I recommended it to my followers. Thank you so much for the advanced copy!

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed reading R.L. Stine as a teenager and it would have been nice to have the audio books back then. I'm glad his books are gaining popularity again.

This book was exactly what I wanted it to be! I loved it. I will make sure to check out other books by this author. When I requested this I was just intrigued by the concept of it and I loved how it turned out. This story had a great plot and if you have read this and enjoyed it, This was so much. It was such a great story. I would say give this one a try. I will continue to follow this author. Way to go to this author for not letting me down.

I highly enjoyed the narrator of the audiobook. Kept me listening.

R.L. Stine is one of my favorite authors. I'm so glad he's getting the attention he deserves with his books. I love that he's getting the chance to reach a new audience with his books as well.
Give Me a Kill is definitely one of my favorites of his. It is a fast-paced novel that keeps you wanting to find out what happens. The ending is one I was not expecting either! I can not wait to start reading more of his books again!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an audiobook of Give Me a K-I-L-L in exchange for an honest review!

This is my first journey into the Fear Street Relaunch and it's pretty much what could be expected from a Fear Street title. Two girls are competing for a spot on the cheerleading squad & things between the two seem to be getting out of hand. Give Me a K-I-L-L has the R.L. Stine-esque twists & turns; all being obvious right off the bat, but still fun to watch play out.

If you vibe with YA Thriller or R.L. Stine or grew up with Fear Street, I definitely encourage picking this one up!

I am fairly certain I read every single R.L. Stine book of the 90s. Goosebumps, Fear Street, etc.... I was excited for the opportunity to read this. But I tried twice and just could not get into it. I switched and ultimately tried all three, but it didn't seem to matter. Since I did not make it past 10%, I did not post a public review. Thank you for giving me the chance.

This book was well written and I really liked the person who was reading the book. I loved the twists and turns and I was happy that I could not guess the bad person. This story can really take you back to high school. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

If you like the Fear Street books, the old ones especially not the new Netflix witchy ones, then you just may like this book.
In this book, you have a cheer-leading squad. New girl Heather Wyatt is eager to start over at Shadyside after what happened at her old school and in her old life. She was a star cheerleader in her old school and would absolutely love to take it up again and prove herself now. Thing is, the squads funds are extremely low so rich and very spoiled Devra Dalby is expecting to get the open spot and as far as she is concerned she will get it and absolutely nothing will stop her. Not even murder.
I’m going to leave it there. This book has things like stolen boyfriends, good girls and bad girls, rich and poor, not to mention scream, gore, and a bit of blood to boot. It’s very typical R.L. Stine and that is exactly how it should be.
If you are a fan then I definitely say go for it. This is a bit down the road in the series so you might want to start out at the first one but you really don’t have to, it just makes it a little more fun.
I listen to the audio as I read the book and the audio is fantastic. The narrators are excellent and the book really comes alive this way. Plus, you won't be bothering anyone if you want to keep the chills and thrills going after dark.
Definitely give this a chance if you can.

Audio Review:
Brittany Pressley is quickly becoming one of my favorite audiobook narrators and I don’t say that lightly as I have very picky ears. Pressley did a great job bringing Gretchen’s character to life especially since she is an unreliable narrator and I could feel the hysterics while I listened.

Book Review:

Unless you’re living under a rock it’s not secret that I’m a huge R.L. Stine fan and was very excited to dive into this new series. I really thought I had this story figured out so the twist did catch me by surprise which I liked and that ending was something else!

Was this even edited?

So a girl dies. Someone applied acid to her violin, which somehow didn't manage to impact the violin in any visible way but was strong enough to burn THROUGH the skin on the girl's neck, through her "AORTA," and leave her bleeding out on the stage.

1. That's not how acid would work
2. The aorta is in the CHEST
3. The artery in the neck is the CAROTID

Clumsy and only periodically fun, but the ridiculous errors made it impossible to enjoy even ironically.

The narrator was Brittany Pressley and she was fine. I didn't love the stereotypical "vapid teen girl" voice she put on for the occasional character, but whatever.

I received a copy of this audiobook for free from NetGalley and Macmillan Audio in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I would like to say thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for my complimentary copy of "Give Me A K-I-L-L" by R. L. Stine. I love R. L. Stine as I grew up reading his books and I still love reading his books today.

"Give Me A K-I-L-L" focuses on Gretchen and her goal to earn a place on the Shadyside High School cheerleading team after moving. There is just one problem, Shadyside doesn't necessarily look at talent. She is forced to compete against Shadyside legend Devra Dalby and at this high school anything can happen. Someone is out to get Gretchen and she is determined to take down Devra. Can they figure out what is going on before it's too late and the entire cheerleading squad ends up dead? Cheerleaders beware! Death is knocking on your doors.

This was a fun read with a few twists that I did not see coming; however I figured out really early on in the story who was behind all of the mayhem. I was still completely enthralled with the book even though I was able to figure out the main plot point. I love the Fear Street books and this book was no exception. I cannot wait to see what else R. L. Stine has in store for his Fear Street followers.

Great story! Kept me intrigued the whole way through. Devra Dalby has it out for Gretchen, who seems to have a bit of a messy history before moving to Fear Street. Will her history repeat itself?

The audiobook was narrated very well; I enjoyed the narrator's voice. Would listen to more by this narrator for sure!

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

This cute and creepy new novel by R. L. Stine gives us everything we want from a middle grade horror novel: murder, mean girls, an awkward love triangle, high school drama. The story follows new to Shadyside cheerleader Heather, she is a good girl who cares mostly about Cheerleading. She is met with adversity to her goals by various characters around school and is even suspected of some bad things herself! One thing I did not like was how terrible she was to her Mother-never got an explanation for that either. The plot has lots of little surprise twists and I will admit I did not guess the entire ending, which was nice. The narration for the audiobook was mostly good, I would probably prefer to read this one though. 4/5
