Hector Lewis and Faye Anders have one thing in common – the people they love the most have been taken from them. Hector’s wife and daughter disappeared 15 years ago and he’s never stopped searching. His latest search leads him to Yellowstone National Park Meanwhile Faye has been hiding in a tiny town in Montana, but now her little boy has disappeared. Hector and Faye’s paths cross when they are forced to confront the person responsible for tearing their lives apart
Suspenseful. Much darker than I personally enjoy, but I would recommend it to people who enjoy dark suspense novels. The first person perspective that jumps between characters each chapters was hard to get used to.
I was turning pages late into the night in this quick-read suspense. A mom and her young son hiding out in rural Montana, a retired police officer and his Standard Poodle side-kick, some really good girl friends and residents who would do anything to protect their community members. Add to that a U.S. Senator with questionable friends and tactics and some really amazing imagery of life living on the borderlands of Yellowstone National Park. This was captivating from beginning to end! (And while it's #2 in a series, there was no need to have read book #1 first.)
Wow! That book had a lot going on! Non stop action, suspense intrigue, murder and blood shed! It was definitely a real page turner! A great crime thriller! Had me glued to my kindle the whole book!
