It has captivating story that truly captivated me. From start to finish, I found myself engrossed in its pages, effortlessly devouring its contents. This delightful summer read was the perfect companion to bid farewell to the season. One aspect that truly stood out was the remarkable character development, which added depth and richness to the narrative.

I love how relatable the main character is and how her character developed as the story goes. This book is great for the targeted age range since it's easy to follow and to understand

Mary Lingo has been seeing magical things in her world for a few weeks when she is taken to a magical world by a "keeper". In the new world, she has to fight a lot of different things to try and save the magic world from people who want to destroy it. She finds a new side of herself that is willing to do whatever she can to save her new friends.

Honestly, this book was not very good. It was incredibly confusing and there were some scenes that I think should have been different places in the book. I also didn't understand how the protagonist, Mary Lingo, just gave up her entire life for a place she'd been in for a few days. Her life in the real world sounded great.

Ages 9+
