This series centers around the Dalton four cousins. Cousins that inherited Dry Creek Ranch. A ranch that belonged to their grandfather’s ranch and have now united in their attempts to make it a profitable endeavor.
This latest story belongs to the long lost cousin, sister of Sawyer Dalton, Angela/Angie. For six years they had no idea where she was . Little did they know that she’s had a hard time. First inadvertently supporting a militia group, and the last few years in the WITSEC, witness protection program.
But with the leaders of the militia in prison, she can now return to the place that always made her happy. One far away from the LA lifestyle of her parents.
Someone she never expected to meet was her stoic cowboy neighbor, Tuff Garrison. A man with a past and one that has worked his way up to become a well respected man. Also a man that doesn’t believe he’ll be good enough for anyone to love.
In the midst of their budding relationship, danger seems to be in the shadows. Will they survive the danger? Will Angie be forced to go back to the WITSEC program? Will Tuff realize that he is a man worthy of loving and being loved?
This was definitely a great addition to the series. Though a stand alone , I would highly recommend reading the previous stories in order to enjoy this one even more.

Angie's been gone from the Dry Creek Ranch for 6 years and now at long last she's home. She's been in witness protection after testifying against a group of terrorists she unknowingly funded but believes she's safe. Tuff is a saddle maker with a past of his own. These two meet and slowly build a relationship until Angie's past returns. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. A fast entertaining read with two good characters.

Stacy Fitz did it again. I have yet to read one of her books I haven't liked. Cowboy Proud is definitely a page turner. There is intrigue, twists and turns, and of course family and romance. You get caught up in the reading and have a hard time putting it down. I would definitely recommend reading Cowboy Proud by Stacy Fitz.

I did receive and advanced readers copy and all opinions in this review are my own honest point of view.

The 4th book in the series in the Dry Creek Ranch has suspense and a love story all rolled into one. Angie got in trouble and felt people were after her. Tuff is there to help protect her. With his own secrets and history he feels he isn’t the best person for her. Liked this love story and it fit right into the series perfectly.

I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley.

Cowboy Proud, was a wonderful novel. It was full of suspense and drama. I love the very small community that they have built. Everybody truly does know everyone else. I would love to visit a place like that.
Angie is so lucky that Tuff lives across the little stream from her. Tuff is a wonderful, caring man. He just needed someone to care about to make him whole.

I love books by Stacy Finz. Cowboy Tough is the fourth book in the Dry Creek Ranch series. After reading the previous three books I was excited to read this one. This book is about Angie, the long lost sister/cousin of Dry Creek Ranch and Tuff, a leathersmith. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Yesss! Angela gets her journey and it was a doozy. Her and Tuff meet on the Dalton Ranch, and the rest is history. Oh no, no, no, not so easy at all. They are both scarred from their pasts in different ways, but have this affinity; they are better together than apart. Tuff takes no guff from Angela's brother, is still respectful and I loved his whole demeanor.
However, there's a tiny little problem with them being together. Angela is being hunted by some bad mamma-jamma people and no matter how careful they are, all it takes is one little slip-up. The US Marshalls are even involved.
This was a fantastic read cover to cover, even with a few slow pieces, in the back of my mind I was still anticipating, waiting until the baddies made their move. Great suspense.
Enjoyed the plot, the dialogue, and the mains, very well written

This is a great book. The two main characters are Angie and Tuff. Angie has finally returned to her grandfather’s ranch after being away from her family for six years, two of those years in witness protection. The U. S. Marshall’s has released her from their protection. Tuff worked on the ranch and had a saddle shop, and lived next door to Angie. When Angie came home from work she thought somebody was watching her about a month after her release. She then started getting strange phone calls. Tuff started protecting her at night. Tuff and Angie fell in love.. the bad guys got caught.

A woman on the run after inadvertently getting involved with the wrong crowd. A cowboy, settled into his community, after feeling unsettled about his past. Cowboy Strong is part of a series, which I haven’t read, but it operates fine as a stand alone read. The simmering passion between Angie and Tuff is evident, but both shy away from it. Her hot water situation brings out his protective nature. I love the setting and the plot. It’s a good cowboy romance.

Romance, suspense, secrets; all the makings of a great story! Angie Dalton comes home to Dry Creek Ranch after being away from her family for six years. Unbeknownst to her at the time, she funded a violent militia group. The members of the group have been arrested and are in jail, giving Angie the opportunity to go home to her family. But someone is still trying to kill her.

Tuff Garrison is a saddle maker with a business at Dry Creek Village. He has secrets from his past which he can’t seem to forget. He knows he can never be the man a woman like Angie needs. But he can certainly help watch out for her safety. When the killers get close, will they be able to apprehend them before something happens to Angie? Will Angie and Tuff overcome their insecurities to look forward to a future with each other? Add in a stray dog named Buddy, and you have a wonderful story of romance, suspense and intrigue!

Thank you to Kensington Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book and give an honest review.

Angie is back in her family ranch after six years gap in her life. She is been strangled from her family to protect them and herself. But, is she going to bring the danger with her? Tuff is been running since he was fifteen but he has found peace and a purpose in life in Dry Creek Ranch. But meeting Angie will make him think about his choices in life. Can they have a future together with their pasts lurking them? Great story about family, forgiviness and love.

Stacy Finz is genius at creating a place and a group of people that makes the reader want to go there and know them. In the fourth of her Dry Creek Ranch series Angie returns after being in Witness Protection for six years after naively getting involved with a domestic terror group. Angie carries a ton of emotional baggage and her self-recrimination is of epic proportions. She meets her match in Tuff, a former rodeo cowboy and leather artisan who lives in Dry Creek Village and also has a difficult history. Their eventual love story is tender and touching as each overcome their feelings of worthlessness to feel worthy of each other. My only issue ever with the author is the graphic sexual content of her stories, which detracts from their overall loveliness. Other than that quality I highly recommend 'Cowboy Proud,' and anything Stacy Finz writes.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.l

Dry Creek Ranch is owned by four cousins, Jace, Cash, Sawyer, and Sawyer’s long lost sister Angie. The mystery of where Angie was for the past six years was solved in the last book when the cousins discovered that Angie was in witness protection. Angie has left witnesses protection and has come home to start over in Dry Creek. Angie is trying to get past the trauma of the past six years and figure out what she is going to do with her life. She is staying in a cabin next to local saddle maker Tuff Garrison. Tuff has had a rough life and is a bit of a lone Wolf. Of course, both Angie and Tuff are attracted to each other but don’t feel that they deserve to have a happily ever after. I loved the more mature love story (he’s 40, she’s 34) and both of their backstories. This was a nice way to wrap up the cousins’ stories and I hope the author continues more stories with some of the other characters. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and the author for my honest review.

This is a fabulous story! Angie and Tuff are a wonderful couple, both overcoming personal histories to move forward. Each is sure he/she isn’t good enough for love and yet the chemistry between them keeps drawing them together. There’s page turning mystery, heart tugging connection, a lovable stray dog who worms his way into Angie and Tuff’s hearts, and plenty of love and family connection. Captivating, gripping, and heartwarming. I loved my return to Dry Creek Ranch and catching up with all of the Daltons. I couldn’t put it down, but I hated to see it end!

Another great book by Stacy Finz! I could not put this down and read it in record time. The plot was intriguing and the characters had interesting backstories. The characters and their connections were so realistic - it seemed like I have known this family for years!

The lost member of the Dalton family suddenly returns to Dry Creek Ranch. Angela is sick of running and full of shame and feels useless to help her family. But step by step the family helps her to see her self-worth and little also has to do with quiet neighbor Tuff. But they both have their baggage from the past and the trouble comes crashing on their doors. A cowboy love story with a pinch of suspense, action, and mystery. The falling in love part could be better written for me it felt a little bit too clinical.

This was my first book by Stacy Finz and first in this series and I am definitely buying more of her books. I loved the setting and Angie was such an interesting character, I felt so bad for her. I loved Tuff and his backstory was genuinely heartbreaking. The romance between Tuff and Angie was phenomenal and I loved the build up between them. The steam was also fantastic as well. Well done Stacy for writing such a fantastic book and converting me into a new fan of yours
